Nathan can't help but smirk as Marco's Meowstic traps Deoxys with Mean Look (a move that female Meowstic can't normally learn, by the way.  The book neglects to give female Meowstic its differing level up moves).  This will end here and now.  And afterwards...well, we'll get to that soon enough.

Losing the Shield is unfortunate, but they can look for it later. They're too close to finishing this to be distracted now. It's either them or Deoxys.

And as long as Nathan has the Sword, he's going to make damn sure it isn't them who lose this battle.

Time seems to slow as Deoxys lunges at Nathan.  No matter what they try, only the Helm can totally outspeed this menace.  Despite that, though, Nathan's still confident he can one up Deoxys's desperate strike, no hesitation in his voice as he taunts the alien invader, goading them on.

"Too slow, Deoxys.  You'll have to catch me first.  I dare you to try."

With Luna receiving orders to use FLY and hang there, this is the perfect opportunity for Nathan to hitch a ride, narrowly avoiding Deoxys as it lunges at him!  (Athletics, huh?  Well, 6* Dex + 5 Survival + 2 Athletics is 13 D6 base if it's Nathan who's rolling it)

Nathan has his own Charizard to rely on if things go awry with the plan.  His ever reliable dragon won't let him fall, right?  Catch Nathan with his own FLY, evade attacks if necessary.  If he gets a chance to, he could also use a Scary Face and/or Smokescreen on Cosh to transfer them to Deoxys since the Sword isn't being used to power Charizard's attacks right now.  Charizard's orders right now are to run supportand keep Nathan safe.

And with Deoxys distracted and making mistakes in its blind rush to ensure its victory, that should give Princess and the swarm the time they need to end this once and for all.

A few hits from a PD Fury Cutter should be enough to finish off Deoxys at this point if my guess is correct.  Princess has some leeway to evade if necessary since her getting obliterated is obviously not on the royal agenda.  If Deoxys is still standing after Fury Cutter, though, Nathan's ready to recall Princess immediately to protect her from being harmed for the remainder of the Round.  He can't do the same with the swarm, unfortunately, but they'll likely scatter if that happens, hopefully minimizing any casualties.

Nathan, of course, is also ready to Evade attacks if he's targeted, and also use Max Potions if Princess, himself, Charizard, etc. get dropped to 1 HP by PDD.

Deoxys's desperation will be its downfall.  It's time to finish this.

(Keeping things a little general at the moment since I'm at work. Sorry bout that.)

Edit: I suppose I should also mention that if Princess doesn't use up all the Sword strikes for some reason, if Cosh transfers the effects to Charizard, then the dragon can attack with Air Slash to deal (now SE) PD damage to Deoxys after he finishes using FLY.

That was Shiva's voice, and it rang across the scenery as Deoxys made it at last to seperate her from her by-now beloved and enjoyed Ancient Artifact. There was a definite strike of terror and horror audible in her voice, and some of her stoic and steadfast facade crumbled as she felt its protection leave her. She felt vulnerable all of a sudden, more vulnerable than she probably has ever felt in her life so far, and she began to fear for this very life. Tears started to fill her eyes behind the glasses and her knees became weaks as she could only watch how the Artifact has been sent over to the fiery mountain full of Deyo Flowers that Mt.Molten was.

Still, Shiva managed to keep herself on her feet, but she took several steps back out of now-increased caution, she knew she can't allow herself to be more bold than usually now anymore. "D....DEOXYS!!!", she called out in sheer anger and frustration, "So THAT'S the way you wanna play, huh? IF YOU CAN'T HAVE THE SHIELD, NONE SHALL HAVE IT, is that so??! That's mean, that's not fair, that's... AAARRRRGGHHH! (ﾒ` ﾛ ´) W-Whimsicott, HELP MEEEEE!" Shiva immdiately summons her trusted fluffball, magically revives her with the help of certain crystal, then points her to follow Melly. "P-Please go with her, please aid her in finding my Shield, speed her up with your Tailwind, PLEASE just bring it back to me!!" Shiva's half-sobbing as Whimsi eagery complies and darts off with the blue-yellow thunderdog.

She quickly rubs her eyes and gets a hold of herself, not wanting to loose her temper nor determination in the current heat of a battle, then shouts out commands for her two Pokemon involved into it. ""Pangoro, it's good to see you still standing, the foe's weakened so don't hold yourself back as you deliver your blow! *held-back sob* K-Kyuu, that was awesome, well-done, now go fully supportive as long as you can't harm that abomination from space!"


Kyuu and Pangoro are staying out. The big panda will give his everything into a final attack before he'll go down, you don't just smack him with rocks and get away with it! He winds up and aims to just PLUCK Deoxys from mid-air!!

Additional notes: Causes Prime to fall prone, they must spend an Action to get up. They may be a floating target, but they are also confused and heavily weakened.

The moment Pangoro falls, Shiva will recall him RIGHT AWAY. Can't heal him due to used Max Potion.



Kyuu is unharmed and unpained, so he can fully concentrate on helping out! Literally even.

Conditional Orders:
- If Kyuu's targeted by Prime's Attacks or if they perform one that hits multiple foes including him, the psychic cat will try to evade that, Base Accu for that is 6*Dext + 3 Fight + 5*Evasion.
- If there's none standing anymore who can deal Sword-empowered damage to Prime and Kyuu has Actions left, switch to Signal Beam with a Base Accu of 6*Dext + 3 Fight + 6 Channel = 15d6 and a Damage of 4 Strength + 3 power of the move + held Silver Powder = 8d6. Prime's already confused.


Shiva herself will perform Evades if she's at danger of taking damage from Prime's attacks, Base Accu is 6*Dext + 3 Fight + 5*Evasion. She'll call for Kyuu to lend her a Helping Hand for these Rolls. Max and Super Potions are ready to be downed by her if necessary.

Shiva's got a Max Potion for plotdevice'd damage ready for him as well as a Super Potion for normal damage. She can't grant Shield Protection to anyone at the moment.

Deoxys Prime Round 3

Deoxys is already Burned. A Helm-infused Fire Punch only exacerbates that Burn a little. It is super effective thanks to Forest's Curse, but it doesn't deal PDD.

Luna instantly FLYs up, getting out of reach of Prime.

Nathan is a blur as he leaps for the dangling threads of Luna. It can be a risky business, grabbing the coattails of a ghost, but Spira is a powerful ghost trainer with his Pokemon fully under control. Nathan only has to move a few inches as Luna passes directly overhead. With the Helm increasing his reaction time, Spira can order Luna to do very specific things and Luna gets there seemingly instantly. It's more of a reaction for Nathan.

Nathan has to roll Athletics as his first action, 13d6 -5 actions = 8d6.

You go soaring way up into the sky, much faster than your previous experiences with FLY. The legendary Helm combined with one of the most coveted Hidden Machines makes for an exhilarating and very dangerous ride.

Prime lashes out with a lethal attack, and despite the speed of Flight you can feel those energies crackling up through the soles of your shoes. This is considered an automatic critical evasion.

There's an anger in there now, which the alien intelligence has seldom experienced. It makes Shiva flinch whenever she opens her perceptions. Deoxys shifts into his most defensive forme as Princess dives in.

She commits fully to this, sensing how close to destruction Deoxys is. Bug attacks are now quad effective. Her Combee, as well as their commander, descend upon Deoxys and cover every inch of him. Biting, stinging, slicing with wings, sending SE Gusts, bludgeoning with Combee-walls, and simply boxing Deoxys in, they do their busy task. Heart swoops by, hurling gouts of Earthpower-flames, and is just in time to witness the rainbow colored gem slide out of its position in the heart of Deoxys' chest. It crumbles to ash immediately. Deoxys is now an ordinary mortal Pokemon.

A Crunch from Quetzal, a Nature Power from Trevenant, a barrage of spells from Cosh and the Scims, and the sudden reappearance of the League. Deoxys is doused in flames, darkness, ghostly energy, and a dozen other attacks from some of the strongest Pokemon in Creshire, and Deoxys is torn to literal shreds. There are piles of alien flesh everywhere, long ribbons of them drifting on the wind and being carefully rounded up by Bo.

Melly returns with the Shield at the end of this Round!

That still isn't the end of the alien invader. An ethereal, Psychic-only version of Deoxys still stands. Even the slight gust of the Combee wings is enough to make it flutter in and out of existence. It lashes out with death throes, delivering psychic Cuts to the landscape and the brave defenders of Creshire. Trevenant's walking trees have curled their roots around the psychic forme of Deoxys and decrease the damage somewhat, at one point preventing Deoxys from hitting the MSC crystals where the prisoners reside.

Death Throes 2-5, -2 accuracy from Trevenant, -4 debuffs. Two at Nathan as he flies back down, 2 at various features of the town.

Shiva, of course, has only just picked up the Shield again, and the psychic attack washed over her with no effect.

Deoxys' final attacks also spread fire everywhere, sending up the ruined battlefield in the northern part of town ablaze. The E4 with the Charizard has released some Flash Fire Pokemon who are drawing it in, and Wake sends his Growlithe to do the same.

Half of Elanor and half of Trillium have been nearly leveled, but the rest of Creshire is entirely safe - thanks to you, thanks to the makers of the Artifacts, and thanks to the little Ralts who started it all with a vision and an idea. Among the rubble, Quetzal still has orders to protect Nathan. He flies along, dragging his tail through the debris to flip over large flaming chunks of it, and Heart notices the Moltres Egg glowing again. It is not emanating Earthpower, but rather responding to another manifestation of Earthpower somewhere.

It's Nathan's body, with no visible wounds but unconscious from the Night Shade. As you watch, he suddenly stands up and staggers forward, still afflicted with 3 pain but no longer fainted. He looks tougher, despite everything he's been through - or perhaps because of it.

Cosh sticks around long enough to make sure everyone sees him, and even appears in a few pictures wearing his Hauberk. Then he begins to FLY away. Marco winks at Meowstic as Cosh rebounds off an invisible barrier on the edge of the battlefield and comes crashing to the ground.
"Meowstic's Mean Look has a few Surprises... like all my Pokemon. It's something you wouldn't understand, wizard.

[Dragonstrike]

Gallade also immediately pops out of his pokeball and helps Nathan stand up, despite also having been KOed earlier.  The friends are beat up, but they're far from finished.  It'll take more than a Legendary to separate these two. Gallade uses a few Heal Pulses on Nathan to help him get back on his feet sooner.

...though Nathan is still holding a hand to his head, having a slight headache from being KOed by that Night Shade.

"...ow...well, he got me, I guess..."

Princess is a busy bee even after Deoxys was defeated for good, once again tending to the troops that remain.  Heal Orders abound.  She's always keeping an eye on Cosh, however.

And once Nathan sees that Cosh is trapped just like Deoxys was, he can't help but silently smirk once more. A hand lingers by his side, ready to grab one of his pokeballs (or some other item), just in case. This might not be over yet...

The very moment Shiva makes it to spot Melly and Whimsi returning from direction Mount Molten, she directly RACES towards them to pick her treasured Artifact back up, and there's a joyous moment where she falls around the electric dog's neck to nonverbally shower her with sheer thankfulness and gratitude. "I owe you something for this, Melly...", she whispers solely to the ears of this particular Manetric.

There's little time to enjoy the moment though, as that massive anger she picks up from Deoxys as well as the gruesome sight of them being shred to pieces little afterwards causes Shiva to literally duck behind the Shield, which was the involuntarily right decision as this protected her from the deathly attack of their psychic afterimage. Whimsicott cuddles up to her as close as possible, both to provide comfort to her lovely Master and to save her fluff from being roasted by psychic energy. Kyuu lands in a graceful moment on the edge of the Shield, and Pangoro, despite his pain making him cringe unpleasantly, bravely raises to full size in front of Shiva and her Pokemon to grant additional cover.

He lets out a loud roar of victory up to the very sky, as if the panda wanted to tell all the currently not-visible stars that this Alien Invader is no more.

Whimsicott eagerly makes sure that none of the fire reaches Shiva and others as well as prevents it from spreading too much by controlling the wind accordingly, Kyuu curls around Shiva's neck, and Pangoro, seemingly completely ignoring his pain, has ran off to punch out flames with his bare fists. Realizing the situation and danger of the fire, Shiva quickly summons Delphox - the natural fae enthusiast and her small group of Pokemon join the particular E4-member and Corporal Wake to aid in putting out the fire as quickly as possible, feeling a little guilty since this happened because of the battle.

Once this is done for the biggest part, Shiva returns to the others, being a little weak on her feet but physically unharmed. She's looking rather exhausted though, and clings to her ancient Shield from which's edge she timidly and carefully peeks at them all. Her voice is quiet as she speaks up, and there are tears in her eyes: "Is it... over? *sniffle* It's really over now, right, and we.... we have won, h-haven't we?"

Heart send wave after wave of flames, fighting together with everyone to defend Cheshire. "See this Deoxys? This is the power of human and Pokemon! My name is Joseph ArcHeart! PUNisher Knight of Flames! In the name of Arceus and all living things of Cheshire, we sentence you to death! You mess with the wrong people you Japan hentai tentacle abomination!"

With a last battle cry, Heart and Moltres increase the heat of the flames when Deoxys core was destroyed. "Everyone! Nooooooow!" With this shout, Heart, Cosh, Combee, Princess, Quetzal, Trevenant, Boo, E4, and all Cheshire defenders fight even more, destroying Deoxys physical form.

Seeing Deoxys last revenge attack, Heart try to not be hit by the attacks behind in one of the pillar of stones from the now leveled town. 

When the dust disappear, Heart could see they did it...they destroyed Deoxys. They finish him once and for all. Heart loose no time and run towards Nathan who was hit by Deoxys last attack. He feel Moltres glow again, and while Quetzal was taking out the debris to find Nathan, they find him, alive. 

Heart release a sigh of relief. Trevenant and Quetzal was alongside Heart. He gave Nathan a punch in his shoulder. "Don't. Do. That. Ever. Again." Said Heart a bit grumpy, but happy in see Nathan alive. Viktor came to Gallade direction and stare him for a few seconds...until the ghost tree open a smile and made a positive finger. Despite the evolution, Viktor still consider Gallade a great friend.

"We did it...we save Cheshire from a ultimate menace. You did most of the job hero. I just give some support."

Heart said. He doesn't have much to say about Cosh restrain. "I think we clean up the remaining of Deoxys body. Everyone who have fire better burn the remaining of Deoxys body." 

Heart also decided to check the crystals where everyone was trapped.

For a brief instance, Terra's heart froze as DEOXYS PRIME rapidly closed the distance between it and his best friend, murderous intent radiating off of every square inch of its alien gelatinous form, realizing that he wouldn't be able to make it in time to rescue them from their super LETHAL attack. Then they hitch a ride with Luna and narrowly dodges out of the way, which kickstarts his heart into overdrive as he watches them become a pinprick in the sky.

He scantly has time to breath a *Sigh* of relief and calm himself before the epic confrontation draws to an epic, frantic close as the Legendary 'Scientist' is brought low by Princess (Something he could sense in an instant and causes his eyes to widen in surprise then excitement) before being roundly eviscerated by everyone ) , which would also include Pixie and Terra himself if possible, the former doing her part to eat DEOXYS PRIME alive with her Crunches and the mountain of a man himself hacking away at it with his own lesser sword, and the both of them doing so with UTTER FEROCITY. The monk, despite getting Psychically brow-beaten by DP earlier, was and his partner still in full on RAGE MODE! at it for all the atrocities it caused and the personal attacks it level on himself and his friends, so now that they were greatly weakened he and his own were certainly going to be getting their pound of flesh from it now!

Melly's arrival to the battlefield with The Shield in mouth and its subsequent return to Shiva earns an uncharacteristically giddy *WOOP!* from Terra, his grin (Now back in FULL FORCE) turning more jolly than savage in that moment! That's a good girl! She'll be getting ALL the marshmallows tonight, bet on it!

DEOXYS PRIME was on the verge of death by the time everyone was half-way through reducing it to gooey bits and chunks, causing the rugged wanderer to light up in fierce and definitely vicious delight, but that is swiftly blasted away almost literally when he and everyone unfortunately discovers that just because it was almost downed meant it was not entirely out of the Fight. It was a poor surprise for Terra, as Nathan got caught up in DP's last wrathful barrage, nearly causing him to shout out at them in undisguised TERROR, but he quickly notice they only Fainted from it instead of being obliterated, which causes him to nearly collapse on his knee in pure relief, him using his sword to prevent himself from falling. Thank Nature for that HUGE blessing!

Then, just like that, the battle was over. DEOXYS PRIME was slain and no more. Trilluim was almost ruined beyond repair, and no doubt many have been caught up in the now deceased interstellar invader's wicked whimsy , but in the end it was slain, it's reign of SCIENCE! was over, and the threat it posed to Cheshire as a whole was no more. 

Costly though it may be, they were victorious.

At first, Terra couldn't quite believe that. He glanced around quickly and furtively around the now former battlefield, riff with suspision and tension as he looked for ANY signs of DP or any last and nasty surprises it may have left as a 'parting gift,' but seeing neither he slowly rose to his full height, wresting his sword out of the earth and holding it high over his head as he gazed at the remains (or what's left of them) of it, looking bold and proud.

"Deoxys, your Legend is over. Now....it is ours."

No guesses as to who he's referring to!

The sagely monk hardly had time to bask in the glorious feeling of triumph and accomplishment from him and his friend killing DEOXYS PRIME, however, as he was quick to notice Cosh (Who he has also been paying close attention to throughout the Fights against DP and its clones) getting Blocked by Marco, and sees the Lore Master eagerness at that. Before either father or son could advance upon the techno-wizard, Terra swiftly intervened between them with Pixie and Melly at his sides, he and his partners staring at them somewhat regretfully, but also resolutely.

"No. You will not betray Cosh. He kept alliance faithfully, and helped us all greatly to bring Deoxys down. Deserves glory from this fight....and his freedom."

With that said, he suddenly shouts out thus: "COSH, TRANSFER MEAN LOOK ONTO ME QUICKLY, THEN GO!"

Melly and Pixie are ready to interfere and stop ANYONE from going after Cosh, as well as Terra himself. For all the aid they provided him and the group, if this was the last good thing he could do for his soon to be former partner, even if it earns the scorn from his friends, then so be it. It was the least he could do for them.

Shiva has no interest on interfering Terra's and his Pokemon's action, nor in preventing Cosh from leaving - she feels like it's better for her to not speak it out nor make her point clear, but she agrees that Cosh and his people deserve freedom. Putting him behind bars now, when he of all people DIRECTLY helped in saving the region and kept his promise of leaving her alone, feels.... wrong to Shiva.

She's too busy with helping putting out the fire as well as sobbing and weeping over their victory anyway. And wishes to get to Elanor once she recovered a little to help there where she can.

Nathan can't help but smirk again as he says this next part.

"...as Cosh put it earlier, he knew what he was getting into when he accepted the responsibility of wielding an Artifact.  We're right in the middle of where the League's presence is heaviest, after all."

There won't be any escape for Cosh. Not this time.

Cosh did by us and Cheshire great good, and proved himself honest and faithful. *Frowns sternly* Worthy of.....second chance and much more.  Will keep alliance with Cosh, and honor help he gave to us. Gave my word to him. Did not break it, so I will not too. Simple as that."

Terra's frown deepens as he hears his best friend's next all too satisfied retort, both from slight consternation and disappointment in them.

".....Having revenge on Cosh won't fulfill you. Won't fix.....wrongs of his now or past. Won't make you or your family's life better *Shakes head* Can't. Only....leaves you hollow, bitter, hateful, and uncaring. From him, of him.....and others like him."

He then gives the boy a solemn, yet plaintive look. 

"Let it go, Nathan. Be better man you are. Not for his shake, but yours. Don't.....want you to become like him, or.....Ventus. Please."
