Unless stated otherwise, I'm going to assume we'll meet up Dagny in her Gym in Stair City. Shiva's enjoying to stop by this big and busy town once more, and how convenient that the Department Store's around as well! She'll shop there afterwards.

"I don't have anything super pressing I need to take care of before this. In fact, talking to Dagny is the most pressing thing I need to do right now. Yeah, we should bring up Garlicburg first. You can go ahead and open the conversation." Nathan appreciates that they're establishing this beforehand."

Dagny's usually in her gym, yeah. She doesn't usually travel much unless it's important. Most things she needs to do, she can do from Stair City.

And with that, not much more to say than it's time to FLY to Stair City!

Nathan greets Dagny with a simple nod when he and Shiva enter her office. "Dagny. Nice to see you again. Shiva and I have something important to discuss with you." Nathan takes a seat and lets Shiva start the discussion."

I might as well get this out of the way now, though it technically happens after this conversation with Dagny. Nathan still needs to teach his pokemon SURF and CUT!

Shiva greets Dagny in a jolly manner, she appears rather happy to meet this steely Gym Leader again. In the natural fae-enthusiast's mind, the Gym Battle and her very close victory is still vivid! "Dagny, it's nice to see you in person after it's been so long, and I'm very glad that you've been able to find some time to let us meet you!~ I'm sorry that it's so near-term, either way." She chuckles a bit to overplay her faint nervosity and embarassment.

Once having taken a seat, Shiva speaks up first. "Ehm, alright, let's get to why I - or rather, me and Nathan - wished to meet up and speak with you. You see, I've been guessing that you'll be just the right person to approach in said manner... It concerns Garlicburg, that small island far north-west of Chreshire's coast. You certainly know which one I mean? That one where military is omnipresent, guarding thet bay and whole island, full of cliffs, root vegetables, sand and very large Pokemon as far as I heard and read. Not even researchers alre allowed to head there without permission - and said permission is exactly why I'm sitting here in front of you now." Shiva's posture strengthens and her determination increases visibly. "Say, wouldn't you be able to get said permission for us? With 'us' I'm meaning Nathan and me, there wasn't a chance to ask the others yet. Preferably as fast as you're able to, so that we can depart tomorrow or the day after tomorrow. I'd like to FLY there if it is possible in a way, explore this place and see what it's got to offer, and then travel back eastwards through the desert and forest. Mostly....since I know for certain that there's something at the shore that is laying around there, a particular Megastone that I'd like to get my hands on. There's probably much more things to see and collect if it's safe and okay to do so, I'm always on the lookout for treasures and loot!"

"Dagny... Yes, if you'd be to warn me that this place is as dangerous and risky to visit like angering an oversized Mawile, I know this, I am fully aware of this. But... We have managed to get rid of Deoxys Prime. The Artifacts are still with us, ready to be used (bar the Hauberk so far). The League acknowledged us by letting us have Keystones and access to HM Surf. If there are any people who you'd think would not get themselves in huge trouble or danger by visiting that island, wouldn't you agree that your mind would at some point wander to us?"

With eager anticipitation and hopeful tension tangible in the air, Shiva's waiting for Dagny's reply.

Nathan chips in with what should hopefully be a convincing argument that'd be in the League's interest. "To add onto the request, there's also more hidden in Garlicburg than just Mega Stones and Fossils. I have reason to think the Water Scimitars are looking for a Genesect Fossil. I know we discussed this previously with Ventus, but...since then, I've learned about the exact location of an intact Genesect Fossil, and I'd like to get to it before the Water Scimitars do. The problem is that it's incredibly deep underwater, so we'd need a way to reach it, as well as excavate it. I probably need to talk with Professor Laurelin about the latter, but the former is something we need your help with. The obvious solution for an underwater expedition is the HM for DIVE, and I'll give ya three guesses where it's located. Learned about its exact location the same time I learned where the Genesect Fossil is. Bonus point: I caught a Seadra in the Skull Ruins that happens to know DIVE already. From what I could tell, they learned it near Garlicburg, then made their way deeper underground with the HM by going through the network of underground tunnels that crisscross underneath the entire region. With any luck, they should hopefully be able to lead us in the general direction of the DIVE HM."

"I don't know what kinds of challenges the island might be hiding underground, and I doubt it'll be easy, but I'm confident we can handle whatever the place might want to throw at us. We just need proper permission to go there"

"Garlicburg, eh? It's a military installation, full of dangerous experiments. Too dangerous for the mainland. Lots of powerful wild Pokemon, too. Nothing you can't handle, though. Some Pokemon are indeed gigantic - I wouldn't engage those."

"I'll get you clearance. It will take two days. You'll have to fly to the coast of the mainland and take a military vessel back and forth. Otherwise their Clawitzer would shoot you down."

"As for the Hauberk, the League has confiscated it. However, they would be happy to release it to your party, that the Artifacts might be united. You have only to ask."

"When you reach Garlicburg, don't take any chances with the military there. They won't be like any other trainers you meet. Their job is to slay or grievously wound any people or Pokemon who act beyond their clearance. Obey all orders you are given by any military man or woman. It's OK to ask to see ID if you aren't in immediate danger, but say nothing beyond that other than 'Yes Sir.' Your clearance badge can scan the ID of anyone and confirm it's legitimate. Understand?"

She begins filing electronic paperwork immediately.

(Two Days? That'll be on Day 86 then if the number of the Day in the first post of this thread is correct. I'll find something for Shiva to do in the meantime, or if everyone will agree we could handwave forward to it.)

Shiva is very delighted that Dagny agrees to get them a clearance to visit Garlicburg without asking questions or trying to dissuade them. She's even flattered all silently and can't help but to blush a tiny little bit over the steely Gym Leader believing that the party's strong enough to handle the powerful Pokemon out there on the island!~ "Thank you Dagny, many many thanks! I'll eagerly await your clearance and will make sure to make the trip worth it." Towards the advice concerning how to behave at that curious place and towards the military people there, Shiva confidently nods to show she has understood. She'll remember Dagny's words and take them to heart. She shivers over 'slay or grievously wound people or Pokemon', being unpleasantly being reminded on Deoxy Prime's 'experiements' and the sight of that Tepig.

One things sparks her interest though, she frowns strangely and there's a certain bit of curiosity within her voice as she speaks up once more. "'Dangerous experiements', you're saying... Dagny, are you able or allowed to tell me whether any of them are having to do with....that extraordinaire Nuclear Type? When I hear the former, I can't hep but think of the latter."

"Oh, and.... It'd probably be a good thing to take the Hauberk with us towards Garlicburg, just in case we'll run into any, uhm.... 'bad' situations. One of us who'll come to the island would do good to wear it.... Wouldn't you agree, Nathan?" She throws a look over to him.
