That's right. Here are some of the things Sawsbuck can do:

-Horn Leech. When Sawsbuck rears, the surrounding trees bow down and offer their sustenance for Sawsbuck. When Sawsbuck is feeling strong, he instead returns his own Earthpower strength to Celebi Park.
-Every other turn, Sawsbuck's horns get larger and the Pokemon gets faster and more magical, stepping higher and glowing brighter. Bright gemlike colors sparkle around its hooves.
-Elemental control. Sawsbuck can call on rocks and wood to do his bidding, firing Power Gems or Wood Hammers or whatever else.
-Other than these things, Sawsbuck is a normal Pokemon and not plot deviced.

Heart was sweating a lot. He can't take out the flames. He can't disappear the soil below the flames. And the flames still spreading. He search his bag, until he finds the last thing he has: Moltres Egg, inside the incubator.

He look to the egg, and then the flames. He have a crazy idea. I hope this works. If not...well, it was a life well live.

Heart then run towards the flames, with Moltres Egg in his hand. If Fire is his bless, he will have to connect deep with the flames. He jump direct into the fire. Is he gonna be able to control and disperse the flames from inside using his Fire Bless and Moltres help. I don't really know.

I not exactly good in puzzles so this is the only thing left I can think of.

Oooooh, such a precious and mighty foe promises a great battle!~ Shiva is being all eager and thrilled, and it nicely brushes over to her smol adorable dragonfairy as she does her everything to encourage her: Chi appreciates it as seeing dear Master being so confident in her making it allows her to dare one or another leap of faith. "Come on Chi, you've got that, we can do it, don't be intimidated just because the foe's much bigger than you are!! I'm here, listen to my words and pay attention to what your foe does!" Shiva's voice and erratic hand-gestures are heared and seen all around and become more vivid the longer the battle takes. Not goin' to loose against this mighty Sawbuck, NOPE!!~

The natural fae enthusiast's Luxi may be smol, but therefor she's extra-tough, HAH! ( = -1HP and +1 Vitality Suprise) And it shows as she shrugs off a full-blown Horn Leech like it was nothing even without the ancient Shield's protection!! This Shield id prepared and ready - but only in case Luxi is in danger, she'll be given this total protection. Shiva does not wish for her Pokemon to get used to the Shield, it defies the training purpose she is intending. Sawsbuck's eyes grow big in amazement over this little white-green-yellow creature not outright fainting from his strong attack. A worthy opponent, this smol being.

More encouragement and sweet-talking for Chi as Sawsbuck becomes more magical and glows brighter! Both she and Shiva have to take a moment to recover from this amazing view! The more Sawbuck sparkles and shines, the more Shiva adores him, what a wonderful and magnificient exemplar of a Sawsbuck! :｡･:*:･ﾟ’★,｡･:*:･ﾟ’☆ "Let's counter this with a bit of our own magic, Chi, please call for the heavens to grant us their blessing!" ( ÒωÓ)و☆ A whimsical breeze washes over the clearing as Chi lets a meldic tune be heard, every note infused with generosity. A wonderful choice of move that does wonders to Chi's belief in herself and her skills.

"Now we're ready to fight back, let there be some FIRE POWER, my dear one!!~" Inhaling deeply, Chi starts to target magnificient Sawbuck with a breath of mystically green fire followed by some real and burning flames - STRIKE, Sawbuck does not cry out aloud but he efficiently flinches away, that hurt! Hmpf, but it takes more to get him down, you'll pay for that, of yes you will smol dragonfairy!! How about with some flashy and dazzling beams summoned from the nearby rocks?! Aaaaahhhhh and Chi fails to evade it, the Power Gems hit her right into the tail and forehead, yikes. Shaking the shock and initial pain off though, she leaps back into action with a breeze full of fairy dust, then prepares for the final blow: Sawsbuck is starting to pant, he does not show it obviously but he has lost quite a good amount of HP by now, the next hit from Chi may make it....! "Remember to hold back, we're not cruel nor do we want to break the agreement we've made, being and staying fair is an important thing in battle!"

Chi nods and properly tunes down her power, but the heat of her final Flamethrower is enough to cause Sawsbuck's knees to give in, he's unable to keep himself on his legs further, he's done for, he simply can't keep up with this little dragonfairy's strength! Chi is the winner of this battle!! She almost can't believe that she has achieved victory, that she has made it, that SHE AND SHIVA have won!! Celebrating this with another cast of a joyful Lucky Chant, Chi happily lets Shiva pick her up and give her lotsa deserves praise and strokes and pets and treats. <3 "You've done great my dear and lil' one, told you we can make it!!~ Aww, I'm so proud of you, hehehehe~" *more fond cuddles and nuzzles*

"Let me heal your wounds though, you've taken quite the blows either way..." With a Potion, Chi is brought back to full HP. And while Shiva's on it, she asks for mangificient Sawsbuck to let him treat his wounds as well. Not with a manmade medicine though, no, she's going to use a Super Potion Orchid for this particular Pokemon. "This special flower originates from a just as special place...", she explains as she lets Sawsbuck inhale the healing scent.

Shiva's having a hard time stopping to smile now, this was really fun! "Great battle, dear Sawsbuck, you're truely something! As promised, I'll let you roam free again now; while I really like you, it'd be mean to bereave Celebi Park of your presence and care. Your home must be here... But before we have to say goodbye to each other and hope for a second meeting sometime, do you mind to tell me a little about you? Have you...always lived here? You care for all these Cherubi in your horns, do you? Symbiosis..."

Huh, maybe Nightshide would be happy to say hello to all these nice Cherubi. *POOF* she goes as she is summoned, and she's greeting the fellow cherries with a warm and bright casting of Sunny Day.

Asking for premission from Sawsbuck again, Shiva plucks a few Cheri Berries from Sawsbuck's horns. Very carefully of course!! Ah, and in return she lets him learn Natural Gift via her teasures infinite and personal TM. "Try it out and draw power from the Berries once, for every Berry there's a hidden potential that manifests in a different Type of attack - one could say that even a tiny Berry holds some Earthpower, indeed! (*^0^) Isn't it a wonderful thought that we're all connected in some way through this force?"

(Hopefully this counts for more Loyalty or Happiness for Luxi towards Shiva, she and me have put some effort into this bonding!~)

I not exactly good in puzzles so this is the only thing left I can think of.

You feel the fire burning away at your clothes, and finally your flesh. In agony, you realize your power is still not strong enough - even a Fire type can be affected by a Fire move, and you are not a Pokemon and this is a big fire. The Tepig, seeing you burning, runs in and tries to burn out some of the fuel feeding the fire. But it doesn't have Flash Fire, is used to starting fires rather than extinguishing them, and progress is slow. The Moltres Egg, meanwhile, is simply absorbing fire and growing redder and redder. The incubator melts away from the outside, just like your flesh is beginning to crackle and peel away. You take two Plot Device damage, reduced to 1 by the Fire Blessing and Earthpower.


A crack appears on the Moltres Egg, and you stare at it despite your intense pain. The rest of the Eggshell is blown away in a blast of power, a mighty sudden wind that pushes the fire away from you and extinguishes the nearest flames. Logs and cinders are blown away, and you feel your skin beginning to heal as the wings of the phoenix Pokemon curl around you. You turn and look into the eyes of Creshire Moltres, jagged feathers fluttering in the remnants of the breeze. The legendary bird is eternally cloaked in flames, revealing none of its skin and little of its actual scarlet-and-gold plumage. 

Moltres, swelling to the size of a small glider plane, picks you up and deposits you safely outside the forest. Then it takes to the sky, circling high overhead like a second sun. 

The Ranger is still overseeing the firefighting, oblivious to these goings on, but Chorizo appears behind you with all your Pokemon behind him. 
"Well. That was unexpected. Heart.... things will never be the same for you."

Yes, Luxi is very happy to have won a battle she didn't think she could win, +1 Happiness.

Sawsbuck's Natural Gift seems extra powerful due to the symbiosis with the Cherubi.

Sawsbuck nods that it has always lived here, but occasionally journeys outside to see what is going on in the world.

Heart could feel the agony. In his last moments he imagine this was the same thing his family felt. He fear for his life, to end like this. When he was about to give up, he see Moltres Egg break, and release himself in his full glory and power. 

He also feel his melted skin restore himself, and be carrying outside of the flames. Then Moltres fly. He had a moment to look towards Chorizo and cough a lot of times, still having smoke in his throat. "Never…going...to do that...ever again...worse….idea...ever…"

Heart cough a few times. "...If you are here...then that means I pass in your test...please say that I pass...jump towards flames is not fun...also…"

Heart then show the middle finger to Chorizo. "....Thank you for making me mute and taking my Pokemon, jerk. And for making me figure out how to extinguish a literal fire. Could you give me a spare of clothes? Don't want to have problems with police for being nude…"

With the spare of clothes he look to the sky, where is. "....So...what happens now? Moltres finally born from it's Egg...that means my job of guardian is over? He gonna go somewhere, or will he stay with me like Terra Genesect?"

"There's no failure or passing my tests, really. If you learn something, you pass. There is one more thing I must teach you, though. I shall have to think on how I wish to do that, now that you have proven yourself worthy of Moltres. If you want to rival Cosh's power, it is the one thing you must learn." He hands you a Class B Ranger outfit while speaking.

"If you aren't mute, if you don't have your Pokemon, you would simply solve the problem the same way trainers solve every problem: ordering a Pokemon to do the work for you. There's no way to grow, for you, in that route. You've already mastered traditional Pokemon training."

"Moltres will never forget what you've done in raising it. And remember that Moltres had a guardian before you. I think that bond is beyond value, and you may be able to call on it when needed. Who can say when that will be, or how frequently? But most Legendary Pokemon are too powerful to be tethered at all times to any one trainer, no matter how strong the bond. The Mistlord, for example, despite being one of the strongest trainers in all Creshire, finds his mind weakens if he spends too much time in the presence of the Eon Pokemon."

"Another example? Sarimanok. It is thought he spent too much time in the presence of an extremely powerful, primal Psychic legendary. And it drove him mad in the end. Aggressive, reckless, but unhindered and cloaked in power. Earthpower is a tool that was never actually intended for mankind to wield directly."

"Well, I learn two things today: To pay always attention when around you to not let you take my Pokemon again. And not jump into fires again despite having Fire Blessing."


"I can understand you taking my Pokemon to let me learn that, but did you really need to make me mute? Really? I could have literally die back there, and the forest would be destroyed. Next time, a previous warning could be awesome thanks very much Chorizo."


"Hmmm...." Heart thought in Chorizo last words. "Call it heh?" Heart then decided to test that. He close his eyes, imagining the strong bond Moltres and Heart now share, and then he whistle with all his air and strengh. "Lets see if I can call him. Doesnt hurt in try it."

"If you don't like my methods, you are free to pursue your training elsewhere. You could have run away, but you chose to take the risk for the sake of learning something very important. That's admirable, and it seems to have worked this time. The Rangers aren't going to let the forest be destroyed, either. It's a precious regional treasure."

As you call out with voice and Earthpower, Moltres descends again to roost in a nearby tree. Somehow, it does not burn or bow.

"Moltres hatching gives us another opportunity. You have previously drawn on the power of the legendary Egg, but drawing on a Pokemon is different. They have to let you, grant you their assistance willingly, or be compelled through greater power or technology. Let me show you how to wordlessly ask a Pokemon to lend you the strength of their move!"

"Start with a simple Ember. Ask Moltres to give you the power of its Ember, in the same way a Ranger uses the Capture Styler to request assistance - but use your Earthpower connection. You'll need to focus on a particular task, such as burning that tree stump. You'll need to focus on a particular move, in this case, Ember. And, like the Scimitars, you can bend that move in ways that an ordinary Pokemon would not be able to do. You can get more creative than they can."

AAAAAAHHHHH dear Luxi is so happeh~ over having won against this big and royal Sawbuck that she starts running in a circle out of joy and then takes a hearty leap right into Shiva's open arms to cuddle into her chest and all-softly lick her cheek. 'Hyuman-girl here is so nice and kind, gifts me gemstones and makes me win against big bad foe, love yooouuu~♡' Shiva takes 9 damage because her smol dragonfairy being so adorable and affectionate hits her heart super-effectively, she instant-faints from cuteness-overload.

(*cough* To have Chi evolve, she needs to reach 5 in Loyalty too, right? She's also going to gain Super Luck as an additional Ability upon being perfectly happy and loyal ^o^)



Fondly returning Chi's affection by cuddling and hugging back, Shiva (with Chi still safely in her arms) eventually gives a deep boy towards this special Sawbuck. "I thank thee for this battle and your effort in making yourself become the winner - Please forgive me for any trouble or pain we have may put you into." She rises from her bow again, smiles dearly and ALL CAREFULLY pets Sawbuck's snout and forehead; and finally draws a package of nice Gourmet Food to have him refresh and reenergize himself. A handful is also handed to Nightshade, she happily shares with every single Cherubi dwelling in the antlers.

She's a bit reluctant to say goodbye to this wonderful Sawsbuck already... Plucking up her courgage, she asks "Dear special Sawbuck of Celebi Park... So, ehm, since you've always lived here, you likely know this place like nonelse does, do you...? Think you could, well, show me where to find the finest Berries (or plants) around? Please!~ I promise I won't take too much, just a bit." *hopeful and curious smile*


Mechanics:
Let Sawsbuck point me to a plentiful Berry Bush or special plant around to pluck. It doesn't necessarily be something that'll have a mechanical effect, aka something like a bush full of ripe raspberries or gathering of wild strawberries is fine as well.
