I would like to know as well, @Harmony . I don't care for them that much, especially in battle. Slows down the pace of it a bit, which I do not like.

I always keep backups of older patches, so I just took all the old sprites and dropped them into the battlers folder for the current version. Couldn't be any easier (except you need admin privileges on your computer). You'll need to do it again every time there's a new update, so I made myself a folder with all the custom sprites I use instead of the regular ones. Whenever the time comes, they're right there for me to copy over.

  I only had access to the sprites after installing the 1.0.8 update, and that already had the animated sprites in it.

However, maybe I can copy the correlating sprites from Pokemon Insurgence (renaming them, of course, to match what they'd be called in Uranium).  I honestly don't mind the animation, though, it's just that they're too fast in some places and the backsprites are too small.  If that were fixed, I would be happy.

You should be able to find most of the non-animated sprites, if not all of them, on the wikia. I'd advise against taking them from other sources because it's important where the sprite is positioned on the canvas. If it's not positioned correctly, it might look weird in battle. The easiest way to guarantee correct positioning is to use sprites that were taken straight from Uranium.

Now that Sun and Moon is close to being out (and thanks to data mining we know all the new Pokemon's stats) I think that they might add some Alola pokes but they might not. I want them too tho.

@RileyXY1 You mean adding some of those to Uranium? Sadly, I doubt that would ever happen... So much other stuff to fix and add already... After all, they're called Alola-forms for a reason... We have Nuclear-typed Pokemon as a unique feature therefore, though.

Wait, the stats are revealed? ...*returns from searching*... I found them on smogon. Thanks for that information! Now I can pick natures for my planned team members. ^-^

Heh, no problem Phantom. I speak spoilers after all. Moon its a good version, and grass starter look very badass. But i think my favourite starter its Primarina. Since i play Pokemon Emerald, almost all my first plays i choose the Water Starter. And since i read to much greek mithology, i like very much Primarina since she is a mermaid.

I'm not that interest in Sun and Moon, tbh. I'm more concerned with the Uranium scene that anything else, especially the competitve scene. I swear I have not given up on it, I have just been... hesitate to post anything about it, given how unstable it is right now. Got some things in the works, though, I just need to finish that last guide....
