Hmm, how about something different? Heart ride in the back of Moltres once more, and go in the air to have a better view of the place. He see Shiva laying in the grass. She whistle at her to call her attention and then ask Moltres to glide close to her. Shiva could feel a warm gust of wind and a phoenix gliding in the air. And in the back a familiar person. Moltres then wave his feathers until he touch the ground. Heart had red googles with him, who he removed, with a big grin in his face.

Nathan blinks a few times in surprise after dismounting Charizard, then addresses Shiva and Heart.  "...wow...so, Moltres finally hatched, huh?  Congratulations, Heart."  Nathan smiles at Heart, then continues.  "Sorry I'm late.  Gallade and I were finishing up an important conversation.  I'm actually expecting someone else to show up eventually, but it looks like they aren't here yet.  Speaking of which...have you guys seen Terra yet?  He was supposed to be here too, right?"

(Welp, it’s been far too long, so it’s time for me to finally resume posting. To see what this post is referring to, look within the Spoiler tag.)

*Cha-Ching!* Lab Equipment Sold for $10000 Poke! Terra will hold off purchasing the Almanac Pokedex, as after making such a large purchase he wants to save up the dosh for other important purchases and investments….

Whatever plans the mountain of a man had after finishing/shipping his purchases to his lab were suddenly aborted as he checked his Pokedex and found Heart’s and Nathan’s text, reading them and then immediately hitching a ride on Angie ASAP to reconvene with the two. His natural curiosity was piqued by the training the rare collector undergo with this ‘Chorizo’ (I assume he doesn’t know/forgot about them) and the secret they were dangling in front of him like a ball of yarn in front of a Skitty, and their request….he couldn’t just ignore it either. No matter how disappointed or mixed his feelings are regarding the young historian, if they had need for his assistance or protection, he’d be there for them.

For now, anyways. Who knows what the future holds for the pair…

Due to being so busy and not checking his messages until the last minute (and having to walk over to Celebi Park after touching down on the outskirts of town, to prevent causing a commotion with his angelic Dragon), Terra was the last to arrive to the group meeting. It took him a little bit to track everyone down in the park itself too, but that was hardly any trouble for a seasoned Survivalist such as himself. He strolled almost casually into the clearing/meeting place,  his attention zooming in on Nathan and giving the adolescent a silent, stoic nod, before he had a proper look around…

….And froze soon after noticing the radiant, gigantic, and majestic FIERY BIRD perched/located near Heart. Unenlightened as he was about what it, he instinctively knew what it’s true nature was: a Legendary Pokemon of Fire. The Burning Phoenix, Lord of Flames.

He knew what they were, and it left him paralyzed in terror filled awe. His Steel Blessing, a core aspect of his very being, was all but screaming at him what this being was, the sheer power it had to melt his metallic being into molten hot slag. It was URGING him to beware it, to cower from it, to FLEE from it fast as he could!

Due to his own immense Will and it reinforcing the very nature of his Blessing (+ his experiences with other Legends acting a numbing agent), he did none of that. Instead, he was rendered into stiff, motionless, and stupid fright by those parts of himself effectively deadlocking him into that state, his mind blank as he vacantly stared at The Burning Phoenix, and nothing else.

Right now, the rest of the world might as well not exist to the rugged wanderer. Heck, he barely existed as it stood, in the right state he was in. Oh dear.

(And done! He's arrived after the latest post/conversation spoken by Nathan/Heart/Shiva, so he's completely out of the loop and out of it by Moltres. That should do it!)

Nathan immediately looks a little concerned when Terra freezes up in the presence of the Legendary fire type.  Gallade, who had been standing in the background until now, approaches Terra to try and ease some of his worries.

Nathan, however, has a different idea.  He approaches Heart (@Spiritmon) and asks him, "Maybe you could loan Terra the Frozen Roar for a little bit?  If it has the same resistances to Legendary Presences that the Artifacts do, then that would probably help Terra a lot right now.  I'd let Terra hold the Sword for a little bit, but I'm worried that'd do more harm than good since it's bonded to me."

"That's not a bad idea. This indeed might help Terra."

Heart approach Terra with Gallade and tell him. "Terra, bro, take this. I suppose it is your time to carry the Frozen Roar. This might help ya buddy." Heart then let Terra carry the item, expected to might help him.

"Trust me. He already did." Heart close his eyes, remembering his brother. "You can be sure I will of course lend my power. Speaking of power." Heart pull out the TM Hidden Power. "Bring out the Pokemon you want to learn new tricks. Rose and Koa learn a few new powers. I pretty sure Gallade, Azu, Charizard and Chi might like some new awakening moves."

Heart look at the gems. "Huh. So, you enter in contact with our Legendary friend. I also have things to do. Restore the Kadabra people, and help restore the forest."

"Cool.  And in turn, if you want to teach anyone Secret Power, I've got no reason to deny the request.  Fair warning, though: I'll probably want to teach a lot of pokemon the move.  We may want to do this when we're closer to a PC."  (I'll address who if Nathan's mons learn which moves later.)

Nathan nods in response to the second point.  "Yes, I talked with Mesprit about this before making the decision, asking if it was something that was possible to do."

Nathan shakes his head in reassurance.  "No, it wouldn't be right now.  It can wait until after we're done with Garlicburg and the fossil.  Almost has to, actually, given that access to DIVE will apparently be helpful.  Short definition of 'help' is...my pokemon and I aren't likely to be able to do this task on our own.  Some backup would be appreciated should things get a little hairy."

Shiva's delighted and reassured by that response, though not yet entirerly convinced given her careful expression. "Humm, well.... Yes, thank your for clarifying. If...backing-up is everything I'd need to do, I guess I can do that." A smile developes on her face as she brushes a strand of her hair outta her face and petting Chi in the same movement. " ....AFTER being back from Garlicburg AND if nothing important comes up for me that needs my complete attention. I don't wish to, uhm... Outright agree now and then having to deny later, you see..." She turns meek again, does not want to share her personal reason why she wishes to head to that island as fast as she can.

As Terra, that natural survivalist and still a mountain of man, eventually arrives, Shiva was about to happily greet and welcome him - what hindered and froze her on the spot however was that massive amount of terror filled awe that tingled her empathic senses, she understood and reacted very quickly: Taking a leap of faith, the natural fae-enthusiast raised her Ancient Shield high up and effectively granted Terra it's protection.

Her voice was clear and calm as she spoke up, hoping that her words would reach Terra somehow. "Terrraaaaaaaa, there's NOTHING to fear, that fierly bird won't do anything to you, they ARE NOT an enemy! Shall they anyway try anything to harm you, you're protected from harm as long as needed by me now....." She turns to Heart. "H-Heeeeeart, please explain him and reassure him that this bird belongs to you, please!!" (>0<; )

"(...) And Ventus decided to not get involved with all this mystic thing problem ever again. And as much I don't like that, we must respect and accept his decision. You, more than anyone else know him better than I'm not sure it is worth bring those Gems to him."

Those words cause Shiva to suddenly call out in a hasted and shy/blushy manner. "Ven is busy with dealing with his personal issues that eventually lead to his depart as well as his research, we....we SHOULDN'T bother him with anything but the Genesec-Fossil for now!" (>o< ) He also still owes her a personal reward he promised to give her in privacy.

With The Frozen Roar pressed into his rough calloused hands, The Shield swaddling him with it’s protective aura, and the reassurance of his best friends, Terra manages to snap out of his instinct-induced terrorized stupor, blinking and shaking his head before tilting it down and pressing a free hand against it.

“Ugh……That was…..not good surprise. Not good at all.”

Rubbing his noggin a bit, he gave the fae lady and pun lover a thankful smile, and another respectful nod to Nathan.

“Thank you, everyone. I’m…fine…I think.”

After saying this he hesitantly looks back over to the Lord of Fire, and finds himself automatically grimacing and flinching for it, before he finds himself and resists those fearful urges and gives the fiery bird a long, considering look.

“…Yes, I am. Mostly. Need to…work on my…..feelings for……them, but can…..endure it now.”

He then looks over to Heart and the young historian, and simply asks “Okay. Ready. What do you need me for?”

As for Shiva’s comment about Ven, Terra interjects shortly after it, shaking his head in disagreement.

“No. Ven…told me he is willing to help group with anything now. Not in person….or in person. Even magic stuff. Said…..*Grimaces, then coughs* ‘…I can trust you to act in the best wishes for our mutual and cherished friends, but I hardly consider your judgment remotely sound and reasonable anymore. If – or most likely when - something major or critical issues assails our friends, let me know immediately so I can render all the support and aid within my means, if they so desire. You may all be heroes, and your own….power and the threats you may face far eclipse my own, but I can’t in good conscious let you all suffer those burdens alone, hmm?’ “

*Coughs Again*

“….That is what said. For me to tell you all. So…*Looks at everyone* you want his help with…this problem?”

Nathan stays straightforward in his response regarding Ven and Valder.  "They were entrusted with gemstones too, same as almost all of us present here.  It'd be rude not to ask them if they want to help, in my opinion.  They don't have to help if they don't want to, though.  If Ven's willing to help out regardless, though...well, that's good to know.  I'll update him on the situation when we meet up with him later."

He frowns at some of the quotes Terra says, but says nothing on them at the moment.

Nathan then looks at Terra carefully.  "Maybe you can help too, Terra.  Well, just having more numbers in general would likely be helpful, but...well, I'm mostly waiting on a certain someone to show up before I fully explain.  It'll be a little easier with them around, and maybe all of you guys can think of some questions for them that I haven't asked yet."

Any sign of Mesprit yet, Iron?  This would be a good time for them to arrive.

Ah.... Shiva ends up giving Terra a glance from the side, not believing at all that he's doing fine again. (￢_￢)☆ Can't trick someone as compassionate and empathic one as her!~ Though he seems to do remarkably better, so she's going to leave it at that. And keep the Shield's Protection up for Terra just in case.

“….That is what said. For me to tell you all. So…*Looks at everyone* you want his help with…this problem?”

"With.....anything?", Shiva accidently says out aloud instead of within her mind in response to the message by Ven brought by Terra. "He's going to overwork himself emotionally...! But... BUT..." She sighs silently, looks a bit defeated and worried yet still impressed. "If that's what he REALLY is willing to do, then... Then it's fine I guess, given his help can, well, actually help."

Then she gives Terra a light punch into his massive shoulder to get his attention, the look she's giving him then is a somewhat sulking one. "Next time you talk with him, please do tell him that a severe infection of 'Missing-you'-feelings is vexxing me and that him being there to cuddle and sleep a night away with me would do best to cure that! He still owes me something he promised."

[Spiritmon]

Heart release a air, gladly to see Terra okay. "Heh, gladly to know you are okay! Oh! Look the new trick I learned." Then Heart go to a safe distance. He concentrate a bit, and then ask Rose for power. Electric power begin to crack in his hand, and then, before anyone, Heart have the move Thunder Punch summoned.

He then strike the ground, making lot of dust appear. He then take out the hand and tell Terra. "This is my new power Terra. The training with Chorizo grant me the ability to call upon the power of any move my partner Pokemon know, if they desire to share theirs powers. Pretty similar to what Scimitars are capable to call moves. But instead of steal those powers,they lend me them by free will."

"And don't worry about Moltres. Remember the Egg I carry around with me? He hatch. He is my son Angelo. You don't fear him."

Gallade, notably, heavily empathizes with Terra and sticks close to the mountain of a man to continue providing support and reassurance as needed.  He knows exactly what type disadvantage related fear feels like.
