[Game Thread] Pokerole: Mount Coronet Mystery

Kee's tense as he withdraws the hand of his that just dropped a bit of food into the water, inevitably disturbing the calm and tranquil peacefulness of the surface. He keeps an attentive eye on it however, and he shows not a tiny bit of fear. Quite the contrary, he's excited and curious, and he's well aware that if his action would trigger a battle, it'd be three people and their Pokemon against one big foe, he feels confidant that together they'd make it.

Thankfully no fight has been initiated, all that happened was he now having strands of long blonde wet hair hanging into his face. That's....unpleasant, but the sight of WHO's responsible for this sweeps away any grumpiness in almost an instant and redirects his attention on THEM. Even more so as they obviously TALK - no wait, talk AND thank him for the snack.

Shaking his head, Kee quickly gets the wets strands out of his face, then gently smiles towards this.... wonderful and beautiful serpent of the sea. He stops ANY thoughts about why they 1. talk and 2. live down here before they turn his brain into a complete mess that suffered a bluescreen due to overthinking. Instead he makes sure to bring along his best behaviour and a good amount of charm, that kind of charm that'd make any female melt like a wax in his palm. "Well, hello there milady, and thank ya for that nice welcome!~~ Glad ya liked those snacks I brought over, how about some more?~" He offers this precious Milotic another handful of dried berries to nom - or to take and keep for later.

"What's bringin' up to yar humble abode... Well, we're just travelin', aimin' for Spear Pillar waaaaayyyy up this mountain - but that's a long and a different story. Much MORE important to me is... Allow me to ask what that sparkly stuff down your lake is?~~"

"*Relieved Sigh* Good, good. Her injuries aren't bad as thought they'd be. Alright, time to fix her up the best I can..."

He does so by apply one of his Super Potion, and (if he has them) carefully banding her mid-section with a chemical heating pad to help ease the Pain. Bruised ribs hurt like a son of a bitch, so a little extra measure like that goes a long way to getting better.

Afterward, he'd gently shake the O.H.W.'s shoulder and speak to her, trying to rouse her out of the trauma induced stupor she was in once the medicine kicks in.

"Lass? Lass? You feeling any better now? Can ya tell us what laid you out, like a wet blanket outside on a Sunny Day?"

"...uuuuuggggghhhh...why do I feel like I've been in this kind of situation before...?"

With a little help, she's able to sit up.  She shakes her head, trying to clear it and remember what happened when asked.

"...it was...ummmm...something...long...blue...had this...really dark, black aura..."

She shakes her head again and holds a hand to her forehead, struggling to remember...

"...I'm sorry, that's all I remember..."

Her eyes focus, and she's finally able to look around again without wincing in pain every time she tries to move.  When she realizes they're next to the water, her eyes go wide, and she begins to panic.  "Oh no.  We need to get out of here.  We need to get out of here, right now!  It...it might come back!"  She tries to stand up quickly, then winces again.  Her injuries haven't fully healed yet, so she just ends up collapsing instead.  She should probably avoid moving quickly and suddenly if possible so that she doesn't end up hurting herself.

Espeon looks relieved that the woman's okay, but turns to watch the water intensely again, definitely still on high alert.

Kogeki do could hear the voice of the feminine pokemon in his head. For a minute he was though the light serpent was another Pokemon...But when the Pokemon reveal herself, it was a psychic Milotic.

Kogeki was able to hide disapoitment in his voice since he dont want to sound rude towards the lady Pokemon. "So...you can talk? Or rather, you are psychic me thinks. Are you...A Primal Milotic Pokemon? Or at least a psychic Milotic? And also...sorry if I look scare for a minute. I though you were...another Pokemon."

The Milotic chuckles mentally, amused.  Haha.  No, I am not psychic nor Primal.  Merely telepathic.  It is an incredibly rare trait among pokemon.  Apology accepted.  I can understand why you would think something else would be lurking in these waters.  There are terrible, terrible beasts roaming around this area, after all.

Milotic looks at Kee curiously, and politely declines the offer of more snacks.  Oh, the Spear Pillar?  My my, that's quite the destination to be visiting.  I imagine you'll need that food more than I do.  It's a long journey to the top of the mountain, after all.

Milotic turns to look at the sparkly items in the water when Kee brings them up.  Oh, those?  Just a few bits and bobs that I've collected here and there.  I can't say where they came from originally, or what they might all be for, but there's an interesting assortment of items down there.  I'm a bit of a collector, see, and travelers often drop things when passing through.  It helps to pass the time, and I quite like watching it sparkle in the light whenever the sun passes overhead.

Ran doesn't look put out by the wanting description of the O.H.W.'s assailant, though the mention of the black aura does raise does raise more than a few alarm bells.

"A black aura.....*Curses* Gottverdammt . Probably was another twisted Pokemon, or something awful similar to one..."

When she starts to panic and hurts herself, the midget miner is swift to catch her (if he can) and lay her down gently, giving her a stern look as he did so.

"Oy, keep still! Your injuries are still fresh as ripe Berries, so no sudden movements unless ya want to aggravate them plenty!"

He then lets out a *Sigh* and looks back over to the lake, his expression a tad sour and reserved.

"My partner Lucas is scoping out the lake for the aquatic fiend that Sucker Punched ya, and he should be more than capable of handling any baddie. Up to and including Legendary Pokemon, if ya can believe that. So don't worry too much and rest. He'll take care of it."

If she still insists on getting away from the lake, he'd sigh again before releasing Brigid , motioning for them to get on (and helping them do so, if need be) and carting them further away from the currently treacherous body of water, saying "Alright, alright, let retreat back a bit..." 

If she takes his word for it, he'd look over to Diam and ask she keep watch for that creature, and be ready to Shield him/the O.H.W. with Detect if it tries to renew its assault. A task the little darling imp should have no problem doing, as if there's one thing she takes dead seriously, it's the wellbeing and protection of Ran! After all, who else would feed her all the tasty gems, or be such a receptive audience to her grand schemes and plans?

Kogeki put his mechanical hand in his thigh and talk again. "Tell me about it. I was already ambushed by a Primal Rampardos in the first time I came to this mountain. And my companions and I were also ambushed by Primal Abomasnow. So I kinda warry towards exceptnional Pokemon. Also...last time I was searching for Deep Trio...well..." Kogeki look to his mechanical hand and said hand in his face. "Lets just say...I paid a price very hight."

"However, since you one of first friendly inteligent Pokemon we found, can I ask you a few questions?"

Milotic eyes the prosthetic hand curiously, but says nothing about it.

"...o-okay..."  The orange haired stranger tries to calm down and relax a little, however reluctantly.  Espeon, however, is still tense.  Everything is quiet...

Suddenly, the psychic cat stands on all fours and hisses at the water in the middle of the lake as it begins to bubble!  Scizor starts at the sudden aggression from the otherwise perfectly calm pokemon!  But then he sees what Espeon is hissing at, and he realizes he would have completely missed it were it not for the feline's vigilance!

"Randolph, watch out!  It's headed right for you!"

The Subterranean Lake: Elder's Recess Large Monster Theme - Monster Hunter World

As Randolph turns to see why Lucas is suddenly yelling from the other side of the shore, he sees a Gyarados burst out of the water and attack the Champ and his pokemon!!

And then just as suddenly, ANOTHER burst of water in the middle of the lake jerks Randolph's attention away from Lucas, as a second Gyarados is headed right towards the rest of the group!!  The orange haired woman tries to back away from the water as quickly as she can in pure terror.  "...th-that's it...th-the bl-black aura..."  Randolph, however, sees no such thing when he looks at the sea serpent.

Randolph has one Round of warning thanks to Espeon.  After that first Round, the Gyarados will be upon them.

1 - Do you know something about the dark entity who is inside Mt. Coronet?
2 - Where exatcly did you come from? Do you always lives here in Coronet or had live in another place?
3 - Did you know anything about the Primal Rampardos who used to live here in Mt. Coronet? And know about a Blueish Steelix who is lurking in this place?
4 - Do you know anything about strange walls who appear in Coronet and all around Sinnoh? Walls with pictures of Legendary Pokemon with them?
5 - Where is the most quickly path for us to reach the top of Mt. Coronet?
6 - What you know about Kisunoh?
7 - Also...by any chance did you by chance meet a woman meet a woman with red hair, dark skin and eyes blue as the sea? Please...any information you might know can really really help.

Milotic thinks about each question carefully before answering.

1. No, unfortunately, I do not know what is plaguing the mountain.  All I know is that it's causing many dangerous pokemon to show up in large numbers.

2. I have always lived here, yes.  Though the place has shifted and changed much recently.  I've lost track of where exactly I am relative to where I was originally located.  The underwater tunnels here were confusing enough before things started changing.

3. I heard Rampardos's roars coming from the upper levels.  I know little else about them other than they suddenly appeared here without warning one day.  As for that Steelix...it has been leaving trails of diamond dust all throughout the corridors as it's been patrolling the mountain.  Why, I don't know, but I could tell it's an incredibly powerful pokemon.  I would avoid it if I were you.

4. I can't say I've had much opportunity to learn of such things.  Being an aquatic being, I'm rather confined to these waters, and my knowledge is limited mostly to things relating to the mountain.  Such pictures certainly haven't been showing up in my underwater tunnels, I can say that much.

5. I'm afraid I can't answer that one.  The paths have shifted too much recently.  The original path up the mountain doesn't seem to exist anymore.

6. Kitsunoh?  I'm afraid I haven't heard that name before.  Someone you know?

7. Unfortunately not.  There was an orange haired woman passing through earlier, looking rather lost...but her eyes were a lighter blue, and her skin a lighter shade.  An Espeon was accompanying her.  It eyed me warily, but we left each other well enough alone, and that was that.
