[Meta thread] Iron's PokeRole Adventure: The Skull Ruins

Alright. Then I'll have Shiva do other things and explore other areas so that we can head into the labs together.

As for Ven, he'll tag along with Shiva, but he'd drag his feet on the matter until Nathan, Heart, and Terra come back from their trip to help reinforce everyone, and if he notices my other character's aging he's going to be rather alarmed (if secretly and vindictively pleased) and even more reluctant to explore Garliburg.

That's fine, I mostly asked to know whether I can or can't insert small interactions with Ven into my posts.

If we want, I could make my campaign even less granular, and just slowly roll out the answers to the questions that are left hanging, in a descriptive way. And you could say how you would react.

I'd post paragraph descriptions every few days, saying what happens in the world around you - who the villains are, what mysteries awaited in the places left to explore, that kind of thing.

I'm sure people would rather focus on the new campaign, possibly for months on end. And I don't blame you, because it's gonna be awesome over there.

Up to you all.

....If I'm going to be completely honest, I think what you're proposing would be for the best for me personally, Iron. After the big climatic fight against Deoxys Prime, I've sorta been struggling to find a way to keep involved and do stuff in the campaign without dice and a lessened emphasis on tightly timed pacing through a plot with Terra (Who was designed to be a meat tank support chara. to others while enjoy the combat of the game), while Ventus.....well, he's a real basket case and handful to work with, as we all know well by now. Kinda the reason why I haven't been posting as much as I could have been, since I'm not too good at being proactive when it comes to creating a story, unless I'm literally making one for a campaign to run.

There's a few things Terra would want to do in between events being dolled out, of course, but by and large I think I'd be much more comfortable and happy to react to such 'scheduled events' than trying to make my own story in a loosey goosy post-game esqe scenario .
Like the wind, I come and go as I please... but I am always there to provide a comforting breeze.

...NO. That'd please be nothing I'd want.

I much rather do my own thing with Shiva, develop her post-game story myself, than react to paragraph descriptions. Such reaction-posts usually take me longer than if I am to describe myself what I do and are a little less fun for me to write up, so switching to such a playing style wouldn't really be enjoyable for me especially.

There's STILL quite an amount of things I wish and look forward to do in Chreshire, visiting Garlicburg is just one thing on the list - you see, I would have progressed farther myself if I weren't been waiting for the others to be ready to head to this place too, after Garlicburg I likely can and will have less restrictions/won't wait for other players as I would like for Shiva to head to places by herself.

It's natural that people jump at something new (in this case the PrimalShadows-Campaign) and semi-put old things behind (in this case the SkullRuins-Campaign) and it's nothing to blame as you say, that's right. But I am not going to let SkullRuins die, I'll still post and progress myself - at my own pace and with less pressure to post daily, like I once told you already.

Right now = at the current storypoint what prevents me from progressing is that I'm post-poning visiting the labs down the island because Nathan wishes to join on that and I've been struggling a bit to find somethingelse to do, which is why I haven't posted in a while. But I've came to an idea now, just let me ask a thing to prevent issues and clarify things beforehand:
@Dragonstrike, if you're struggling to handle the obstacle of the spiral stone, how about pausing that and time-jumping together to us heading down the labs together? This would help both of us, as in 'You have more time to think about how to get past the obstacle' and 'I can get to Shivas second main-objective on this island now'. It's up to you what you prefer, I'll adapt and either start the lab-arc or time-jump and explore Wargame Forest and Shoretown while you work on hopefully getting the Fossil you're looking for. I can wait and do other other things until you too are ready to visit the labs, but I'm not going to wait forever.

And there still some Pokemon of Heart I wish to evolve and some moves to get too. If I gonna fight Shiva one last time in the future, I prefer doing with my full power.

We could just assume you met those goals if we went with my proposed option.

No, I'm still somewhat against this proposed option as it's more fun to work/rp a bit to met a specific goal, just being told 'you meet your goal' sounds lame. Especially if it's a goal that isn't something that can be assumed we auto-succeed on like we would on teaching a move or evolve a 'Mon.

@Dragonstrike, have you thought about what I've asked you by the end of this post? Just in case it's been forgotten.

Given we're in a rather dangerous situation right now, can't really auto skip it and assume it's cleared unless Iron says that's okay.

I have an idea to try and get out of it and finish this puzzle, but I'm not sure if it's going to work at all.

(...)

That's not quite what I meant, it's more like 'Pausing that scene now and getting back to it later' instead of assuming/stating that it's been auto-cleared.
