[Meta thread] Iron's PokeRole Adventure: The Skull Ruins
(05-14-2020, 07:25 PM)Spiritmon Wrote: *Sigh* @Iron, couldn't you just...I don't know, just let let us go in peace after the whole problem of the time puzzle? And now we have to deal with Primal Kingdra?

...I don't know about you guys, but I gonna take another break from Skull Ruins and focus a bit in the gladiator project and the Primal Shadows...I not exactly in the mood for another puzzle.

This is less of a puzzle and more of what Nathan and Heart are willing to bargain for DIVE being taken, while with Terra its a matter of 'when and how' the group will get it, not 'if' , because even if he was not totally dead set against taking any sort of vow or pledge beyond his current one with the group, he's not in the mood to parly with the Primal. Essentially, try to think of something that will please a Super Kingdra if the group does it, like a promise similar to the one that everyone but Ven took with Landorous (IE Promise to protect and help the oceans of its domain florish more) .

It's just another Pledge, exactly like the other two.

Can you try to be positive before jumping straight to assuming everything sucks? 'cause you know, if you do that, everything WILL suck.

Literally my last warning on this topic. If anyone doesn't want to continue we don't have to.

*Whew* Thank god PK was convinced by Nathan! Didn't reallly want to sick Terra upon him, as that had so many ways of going wrong (most of all ruining the friendship between him and Nathan if they didn't back him up), but if we want DIVE for our own purposes and they refused to give it up through Diplomacy, the only method I could see to getting it ASAP is just going full aggro on them. We don't know exactly what sort of timeline we're on against the Water Scimitars and what's left of the Earthen ones, so I'd rather not pussy foot if that can be avoided.....

You all know Terra ain't making any Pledges with Legendaries ( outside arguably helping out Mesprit and whatever is plaguing them and their sibilings ) so someone has to bite the bullet and oath bind themselves even more. At least it comes with great benefits like the Grass and Fire Pledges, so you're getting something nice out of it!

...yeah, if Terra starts using the Deoxys clone as a weapon, particularly to attack guardians of nature itself, I'm pretty sure that Nathan and everyone else who made the Grass Pledge would be obligated to stop him (and Nathan has Servine with him right now, too).  Even if not, Nathan wouldn't have just let something like that happen, particularly when he'd likely be the one taking most of the blame if something like that did.

Nathan has no issue with these pledges, being the mostly Lawful Good character that he is.

Aww thank you! Yes I will in a little, give me bit of time to consider things and see what moves are available for her Pokemon. Can you tell me whether Azu and Vaporeon are allowed to learn Water Pledge? Those two 'Mon of her are the ones I wish to know this cool move the most.

*Sigh* Sorry. Things has been stressing because of this quarantine this time, so my nerves take the best on me.

Understood. I will control myself and just enjoy the game.

Water Pledge isn't on your Pokemon's lists, but they can still take the Pledge without obtaining the move. And Kingdra can be a tutor for any levelup moves they still need.

Considering Terra isn't going to be taking the Pledge ever and isn't really all that happy with the being itself, I imagine their Tutoring services is off the table for him? Not that either of us mind, but I just want to know for clarity's sake.

The Tutoring is actually separate from the Pledge. Terra can still do it.
