Found a numerical example of Surprise ? move costs, @Iron.  Remember when I asked ya about Dazzling Gleam?

That's a really strong move for him. That's a tough one to price because no one learns it until Gen VII, but it looks like 21 or 31... plus the penalty for the Surprise... I put it at 45XP.

But those were cases where the mon can't normally learn the move according to the rulebook. Heart is asking about moves that are supposed to be TMs or Tutors. Maybe we haven't done one via tutor yet.


I think what I'll do is just make it free - ? moves are so easy to tutor that Kingdra can teach it in no time.
Other tutors may charge a bit but I plan to keep it cheap - so that Surprise moves feel earned.

Just to ask: Could you list the moves I mentioned who is approve to learn? I might start to use Rain Dance to begin the next round with the enemy less powerful in fire power if thats okay and it is approve.

Remember we're indoors/underground.  Might be difficult to justify being able to start a downpour in that situation.

Heya, how the day of you guys went? Mine was good. Play a little DnD and my half orc warrior intimidated a grooup of Dark Paladins of a evil dark mage. He was Level 1 and get 19 in d20. Best roll ever.

Well, for the first roll to get such hight number, it is pretty good.

No problemo. I also gonna play some D&D too. And I think I gonna wait everyone make their scenes.

Man, what a crazy D&D session yesterday. My Half Fighter almost get killed by two Lycanthropy Ratman, but thanks God I found a longsword along the way after finding his dead captain.

And I get the help from a player with dwarf mage. It was a pretty difficult fight, 30 minutes to kill the things, but we managed to do it. He explode the skull from one, and I cut in half the other. And there was a third one who escape.

I get cursed in the fight,  and we go to the church to eliminate the curse...and this was supposed to be just a easy mission to get a bandit! Half of the money we use to cure me...

Moral of the story: Never think something will be easy. Unless you want to become a Ratman.
