[Game thread] Skull Ruins Pokerole
Yes, the submarine looks like it has seen plenty of use.

The guards are wayyyy over on the other side of this underground inlet.

Good, the guards are not much of a thing to worry about then. That gives enough room to carefully and quietly get as close to that submarine as only possible to take plenty of pictures from many many angles; this action includes diving down the waters and surf/dive around with a Pokemon's help (in Shiva's case it's Azu's aid) to investigate this submarine further - Shiva's not aiming to get inside, but she kinda wants to figure out what the Scimitars use this submarine for...? Do we all pick up on this during investigating and examinating, or at least on any hints?

It's a military sub. This goes beyond Scimitar use - remember, most portions of Garlicburg belonged to the military before the Scimitars even existed.

It's a MILITARY submarine? Humm, alright. Shiva kinda feels like the Scims 'upgraded' this submarine to be powered by nuclear engery... And highly wonders whether Dagny knows about this. Sind Ed has obviously declined the existence of strange alienmon in Wargame Forest when she and her Pokemon DEFINITELY seen, interacted with and photographed them, her viewpoint about them started to shift. And it shifted in not much of a good direction... Can the military really be trusted?

Alright, with enough footage of this top-secret-project on hand it's time to head back again that sea corridor - unless anyone has anything to add, suggest or say. (Input or thoughts are welcome)

Now, back to that Scimitar Room with the brown and blue keypads Shiva aims to go, as that room has some more things of interest and may hide some secrets that need to be uncovered. Elemental Rooms... She kind started to wonder what sort of room the Fairy Room may be, and where it's located. (New objective: Find and open it!)

Inside that Scim Room were runes channeling fire (1), electric (2), psychic (3), and draconic (4) energies. (Source)

The seals don't connect to those rooms directly. They're painted on the floor and ceiling.

However, you know where the doors are that leads to those rooms - they're the elemental rooms I have mentioned.

You break into the room you think is Psychic-aligned, and find more cages. Only one is occupied, and that by a Girafarig who is far too large for the cage. Its head and tail are both sticking out, and it certainly can't get any exercise like this. It chomps at you if you get near.

Your sharp perceptions notice that a rug in the middle of the room seems out of place.

There are also a lot of TMs on a bookshelf: you can choose any three Psychic ones as a party.

The Fairy room is much the same story, with a captured Granbull and a rare, trampled Florges sharing the same cage.

Presumably, the other elemental rooms have similar setups (minus the rug).

Fairy Room:

Shiva would have enjoyed the room... If that trampled Florges wouldn't hurt her eyes and sensitive heart. o(TヘTo) Such a beautiful, rare and royal Pokemon in such a bad shape!! She would have loved to outright smash the cage to free it, but Ventus' reasoning why it'd be better to abstain from this still sits deep. However... She gets as close to the cage of Granbul and Florges as they allow her to do, as if to check those two's physical and mental state. How do they react; scared like Skelenuke, aggressive like Girafarig, something different? (Furthermore, what colour is that Florges?)

Psychic Room:

Dear heavens, more trapped and cage'd Pokemon! Shiva quickly back away then that Girafarig chomps after her, obviously spooked by that aggressive action. "My my, please calm down again, I didn't mean to.... scare you or anything!" She stays near that Girafarig though and knees down to it, but stays out of its chomp-range. "Do tell me please... You're the only one left here it seems. *waves towards the empty cages* What happend to the others? Transported away I'd guess?" *waves towards that out-of-place-rug also* "You know anything about that weird rug here, can you possibly give me a hint what...purpose it has? This is the ONLY room holding a rug of any kind, doubtful it's here for decoration."

On, and when browsing that bookshelf holding TMs, Shiva's excited and thrilled to bits as she comes across a nicely rose-coloured disk coding nothingelse than the move Psychic! She can feel Primal Espeon wiggle in his Pokeball as she carefully packs that TM away. (Choose whatever TMs you people like for the remaining two slots, I'm good)

(My vote would be Skill Swap, Reflect, Light Screen, Power Swap or Guard Swap. Support Psychic moves is awesome.)

Okay, I'm a little behind, so let's type up some general reactions for Nathan and Gallade for the various rooms we've checked out.

Nucleon Room

Once again, Nathan recalls Gallade to his pokeball and summons Metang for safety reasons before entering.  As for the room itself...

...well, what words can possibly describe what Nathan's seeing and feeling about it?  Seeing those Nucleon in varying states, all held captive against their will...it's appalling.  However, he also agrees with Ventus's point.

While they could free these Nucleon, doing so might not be the best idea for them in the long term.  If the military catch a stray Nucleon roaming free, it isn't hard to imagine that they would be quick to try and contain the Nuclear type before it could cause trouble...even if it meant hurting the creature.  And caring for a Nuclear type is obviously something that requires a lot of specialized techniques and tools.  An average trainer in Creshire is unlikely to be well equipped for such a task.  So while he could probably break those pokemon out with the Sword that can cut through (almost) anything just as well as CUT could, Nathan refrains from doing so.  The Nucleon will just have to sit tight for a little while longer while they get some help...

While Nathan is paranoid as heck about the Nuclear type, a pokemon is a pokemon, no matter how dangerous.

As for whether he has Dedenne on hand, Nathan confirms he did.  He brought the little mouse just in case their amplification abilities might come in handy.  He takes a few pictures of the room himself using his pokedex and asks Porygon-Z to download some of the files from the accessible console in the room to the device.  "I'll send the information to Dagny once we've looked around a little more, but before we've left the area.  The more evidence we have, the better our case will be."

------------------------------------------------------------------

The Submarine Room

Military guards, huh?  They did say they'd just routed a few moles in their organization and were still conducting their own investigations before we started on our adventuring on the island.  Nathan doesn't currently have much reason to distrust them on the matter, but he's definitely inclined to talk to Dagny first about all of this before he mentions any of it to the military.

"Guess this area's part of what's off limits to us.  We probably shouldn't poke around here."

-------------------------------------------------------------

The Elemental Rooms

Lol, I like that Iron assumed we broke in.  Yeah, Proygon-Z and Pulse would probably be bypassing any electronic locks in our way without much trouble at this point.  I bet they're having fun with it, too, and Nathan's more than happy to let them do so since they're also helping out quite a lot.

More caged, miserable pokemon...no surprise there.  Again, Nathan refrains from freeing the pokemon immediately.  Freeing them would probably only cause trouble (particularly since that Girafarig snapped at Shiva!).  These pokemon are likely finding it difficult to trust humans after what they've been through...

As for the Psychic TMs, I'd personally like a Psychic TM myself as well, if that's fine with everyone.  Gallade's only reliable attacking Psychic STAB is Confusion, and he's had that since almost the beginning of the game.  And while the move has served him surprisingly well (flashbacks to the two Muk that KOed themselves in Confusion), it's probably about time he learned a stronger STAB move.

(Also, regarding Telekinesis, that TM is purchasable at the Violet Tent in Cress City for $2800, so there's not much reason besides saving money to get one here.  Better spent on less readily available moves, methinks.)

Gallade, meanwhile, is watching Shiva and Girafarig carefully, frowning at the situation the pokemon has found themself in.  As someone who's suffered at the hands of Almanac himself, he can empathize with the giraffe pokemon quite heavily.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------

Also, a question about the remaining Elemental Rooms for clarity: do they all have shelves with TMs in them, or is it just the Psychic one that does?

The fairies are much less aggressive than the Girafarig. Just scared. Florges is a pale red color and starting to wilt.

The Girafarig just keeps chomping at you and does not answer.
