No, I mean about how things happened just before those encounters. My assumption is that Nathan wanders off towards Rattata without telling anyone, including Ventus (and that Nathan also doesn't know it's a Rattata). There's also the matter of what the trip to the camping site was like, but that's less of an issue (for now) as far as I can tell.
