5XP for the Miller battle. 2XP for Nathan, and Grid gains 1 point of Loyalty (mostly from the battle, but the deal is clinched by the honey!)

(Hey, hey, hey.  Grid has 4 loyalty now!  Whoo!  And you know what that also means?  Houndour now has 1 Loyalty as well!  Making some good progress here!)

Think of the devil, and he shall come, for Ventus arrived soon after Nathan's Combee returned with the honey promised to Grid (Who subsequently gorged himself on the sweet treat), Lucifer perched on his shoulder eating a delicious Apple. The researcher noticed Nathan and his Pokémon instantly, but he had to restrain himself from interacting with the boy. So the empath just gave the boy a wave and a smile when they cottoned on to his presence ('Or choose to acknowledge me, as is the more likely case.'), before he walked over to a tree and leaned against it, enjoying the peace and relative quiet of Firewood with his much beloved Niobat. Lucifer continued to munch on his fruity treat, savoring both its delicious taste and his master's company.

Nathan doesn't so much as acknowledge Ventus's presence as look up, register that he's there after what seemed like an eternity of waiting, and then go back to interacting with his pokemon.  He needed to give Swiftfire a little more attention than he'd been doing lately, after all.  When she's done running around, he reaches into his bag and pulls out a special fireproof brush designed specifically for Ponyta and Rapidash care and gives her a good brush down.  While she likes getting dirty, there's nothing fun about staying dirty!  Well, that's what Nathan thinks, anyways.

As usual, Nathan also can't thank the combee enough for all the hard work they put into gathering that honey for the group.  He'd have to think of a proper way to thank them when they got to Wineberry...for bee pokemon that frequently collect the stuff, Honey probably isn't a sweet enough treat for that...
