Analysis Compendium and Tiering Plans

On second thought (and I can't believe no one's chosen this yet) sign me up for Astronite and I'll do it when I can.

I had Astronite, but I removed all of my queues since all of these analyses will most likely be redone from scratch.  Anyone who still wants to do analyses are free to do so, although their work will likely ultimately be scrapped.

Wait, did I miss something? Why are all of our analyses going to be scrapped?

It's partially due to the early state of the game's competitive scene.  As everything changes, the older analyses either have to be updated or redone entirely based on how people are using the mons and what's been banned.  It's the nature of a usage based tiering, really.

Ohhhh okay. In my imagination that sentence sounded much worse. Yeah, put me up for Astronite still. Also, relevant question, but how do we know when the meta will settle without any form of usage stats?

Well, we don't have a way to track usage stats at all yet.  atm, we're just trying to establish a basis for everything for the most part.
