First though, I need to get those 6-IV pokes in each egg group, which comes back to my original question![]()
The 6-IV Jerbolta from Mystery Gift has helped out massively with everything with the field and fairy group. I guess I should start branching out from egg group to egg group from there. For example: Jerbolta (Field/Fairy eggroups), -> Winotinger (Fairy/Human-like eggroups), -> Beliaddon (Human-like egggroup), -> etc.
The biggest problem with this approach however is the need to consistently get better female pokes, which is difficult when you're dealing with species that have a low chance of getting a female, such as Flager. Not sure off the top of my head how this works with genderless pokemon.
Nuh uh, your original question is how to avoid breeding with 2 5IVs with the same imperfect. And the answer to that is breeding with 6IVs you already got. This is not advance knowledge at all, even Youko's guide for beginner breeders could tell you that... AND she also explained genderless breeding. You claiming to know the basics but failing to understand those simple concepts kinda makes me think you didn't even bother reading Youko's guide...
