Well, its no secret of that he loves his Pokémon like a family you know! Its why he gets so murderously angry when almost anything Lethally harms them or poses a significant threat to their wellbeing in the first place, besides being fairly intolerant of such things and similar in general and his ruthless/pragmatic style of dealing with 'problems'.
Like the wind, I come and go as I please... but I am always there to provide a comforting breeze.
