Now then, while I know that it's Terra's duty to keep everyone safe and take extraordinarily good care of Shiva in the means of 'nothing happens to her, or else he'll be fed to Apsis', it does have a slightly bitter aftertaste in this particular case: Doesn't Terra trust her (yet?) enough to let her handle things directly if that's what she desires even if it comes with a risk? It looks to like that's the case, which is...saddening, to be very honest. ( ._.) I wish to work towards him trusting her and him as the tough and experienced fighter to acknowledge her skills in the long shot, even if these don't lie in the field of fighting especially.

Honestly, I kinda agree with Phantom on this one, Windos.  It's nice that Terra is taking the assignment from Ventus seriously and all, but...it does feel like Terra is overdoing it a little.  With regards to the entire group, though, imo.  Our characters are all fairly capable, after all.  Taking your job a little too seriously is something that is possible.

Of course, imo, being in the middle of a war zone is probably a good demonstration of just how capable our characters are...or aren't, if worst comes to worst.

I agree with Phantom in this case Windos. Shiva be feeling overshadowed by our characters, and this battlefield, despite dangerous, its her chance to prove herself she can be strong too. I think she is strong, but its a test for herself. Go get them Phantom :3

Well, isn't this nice, ganging up on me like so.....

Look, it isn't a matter whether or not Terra does or does not trust or respect the overall strength and capability of the group, for that is an entirely mute point since he does. Heart has proved himself from their excrusion to the Skull Ruins and the Electabuzz/Rhydon, Nathan has with the later two, and Shiva with Rhydon and personally accounts from Ven, so that ain't the issue here. Heck, their 'battle' against Siekamater is antecedent evidence enough that everyone can take care of themselves. 

No, the fact of the matter is that no matter how exceptional our characters are, the group is in the middle of a literal bloody Lethal warzone, with the fighters of it being King's Era men/Pokemon. The very same kinds of people and Pokemon Nathan had extensively warned were extremely skilled, powerful and capable in their own right + potentially DANGEROUS to the group, and his own personal interactions/observation with/or them has demonstrated how FIERCE and RELENTLESS in battles. 

Unlike with Rhydon, some big BAD singular/small group of threats, or arguably MEW or Siekamater, the group isn't fighting/fleeing/involved with  some wild beast , but an organized military force that has little conniptions in cutting down their enemies or anyone else that gets in their way. If one of the group members gets serious injured or downed in their Encounters, their is a real chance of that harm being compounded by the CHAOS of the whole scene, and that's not accounting for a whole slew of other factors. And Terra is fully and painfully aware of all of that[/i].

With all that in mind, Terra's own current and potential reactions are not only reasonable, but actually downplayed , as if I was fully playing him IC , he'd personally hunt down every single member of the group + Spira and fight tooth and nail in getting them out of the warzone safely. Fighting a Strong Wild Pokemon, arguably a singular Legendary , or the scattered forces of Almanac is one thing, as with the first and third teamwork or choosing the right Pokemon can take them down relatively painlessly, while with Legends you can always flee or find a puzzle solution. Within the context of in universe, those are dangerous situations, but 'reasonably' so that my character wouldn't mind so much leaving things to them and/or help them without worrying/fretting over their safety/well being. 

In this Scene, where the group is trapped in the King's Era in, and I can not stress this enough, a literal bloody, Lethal warzone, where Healing Supplies and resources are at a premium, and any given Encounter could royally screw over our characters if we aren't careful or lucky? Terra has every reason to be HIGHLY worried about the group, and thus is motivated to take his duty/job more seriously than ever, ESPECIALLY the part about ensuring that his boss' girlfriend isn't squirty murdered by anything. Given his nature is already plain, no-nonsense, and serious..... that's saying something about how he's assessing the situation.

In sum: Terra trust and respects everyone's battle prowess, and is perfectly fine/not bothered too much about them taking on certain threats within certain contexts, but he's still rightfully worried about them in this situation due to it being a warzone, and therefore wants to do everything in his power to ensure their well being and safety. You all might say he's overdoing it or taking his job too seriously, but when it is explicitly keeping the group protected and alive to the full extent of his ability (within reason), how could he not?
