Your first team in Uranium

It has been some time since i first played Uranium. I just recently returned to experience this game again and gained a greater appreciation for it. Particularly it's Pokemon as I feel this game has one of the best Fakemon lineups I've ever seen, but enough of my rambling. I don't remember as many specifics as I'd like about my first team but I do remember what Pokemon I used:



So I have a thing for always choosing up with the grass starter and when I saw the test answers were color coded I stayed fairly true to how I would actually answer but also made sure I ended up with Orchynx. I really liked using Orchynx and Metalynx a lot and I love the grass/steel typing and as long as i didn't throw this Pokemon at a fire type it could get a lot of work done.



So when I saw Cubbug I nearly died from Cuteness overload and I know i had to have it. For someone who doesn't like bugs at all IRL I love the Bug type and this Pokemon definitely was an asset to my team. Admittedly it wasn't my best member but I found many uses for the fairy type in my first run. Also this is the only Pokemon whose nickname I remember, I named them Bugbear.



Now I definitely remember catching Grozard and using Terlard for most of the game but i don't remember my reasoning for catching it when I did. Terlard was a fine member of my team until near the end of the game when it just wasn't doing much for me so I would go on to replace it later on with my final team member, however since i did use Terlard for like 90% of the game I feel I need to include them.



Canine like Pokemon are another weakness of my mine and i saw Tancoon and had to have it. While Tanscure isn't the most statistically impressive Pokemon, I caught one with it's Moxie ability and I was able to use that to save me in quite a few bad situations during my first run. 



I actually intended to use Flager when I caught it but then as I was leaving ran into Chimical it's beautiful pun name and Chimera inspiration made me use it instead . Chimiconda was a beast on my team and later on when I saw Inflagetah nearly wreck my team in the 5th gym I still stuck by my choice to keep using Chimiconda and they became a very reliable member of my team.



Wait what you had two starter mons on your team, Yes I did. Theo had an Electruxo and after seeing it I wanted one so I did as much trading and waiting I needed to to get one. I enjoyed having two starters on my team and definitely beat Theo in a mirror match more than once when i had it. 



And so finally the Pokemon that would Replace Terlard. Now I choose to use Volchik and replace Terlard because I need something to dea with ground types. Then got a Dragon/Electric type and was like "Welp I made it worse." but Yatagaryu was amazing and in the end it definitely was more of an asset than Terlard.

This has been a great journey down memory lane to remember the first Pokemon I shared my first Uranium experience with and I hope I can continue to have good experiences with the game.
