[Game thread] Skull Ruins Pokerole

At the Gym, Tanuki is organizing proficient trainers to defend the refugees, who are clustered into every room. Her Zigzagoon are running everywhere on errands and bringing in lost people. She comes over to you.

"Nathan! Are you available to help shore up our defenses here? Dagny is sending a dozen Lairon and a Bisharp. We're trying to hunker down while the League gets its offenses in place. The Elite are massing, and there are even a few Legendary Pokemon who might make an appearance!" She seems a little excited, almost.

Nathan shakes his head.  "If it's short term, Tanuki, maybe.  However..."

He shows Tanuki the Sword, in the same manner he showed Mesprit.  "...I really need to be on the front lines, not here.  This weapon is quite possibly our best chance of beating Deoxys."

He crosses his arms.  "...any chance you can get me and everyone else up to speed on the current situation in detail?  We've been deep underground in the Skull Ruins for the past few days, after all.  Kinda hard to plan an attack without knowledge of the war."

"Deoxys is up to its old ways, so far. It's seeking out certain individuals and species, corralling them into specific locations that make sense only to Deoxys. It's avoiding the old craters, but seems to be based out of its new crater. At least, that's where most of the Tall Grass is sprouting. Deoxys clones peel off from the original 8 times per day, about every 3 hours. When it landed, multiple sightings were reported within the first five minutes, so the League thinks it cloned itself even before landing. Expect up to 25 Deoxys."

"We know the clones can shift Forme, we know they can be fainted with enough powerful attacks, we know they have finite stamina much like any Pokemon, even though they can take more hits than a Steelix. We know a dead one can be stored in a Pokeball, but they eventually regenerate and break out. No one has managed to capture a live one yet, but they can be Capture Webbed, it seems."

"We haven't engaged Deoxys Prime yet. Waiting for the Mist Lord to arrange things. Bo is already in the field, putting down clones. It's amazing to see him fight. He seems more than human."

"Dagny said you'd be heading straight for Deoxys Prime, and to support your group in any way I could in that endeavor, so I guess she knows what she's doing. Let me know if there's anything you need."
