Zorn gives Randolph a really toothy, almost smug looking, 100% confident grin.  He knows he can beat this chump.  He's proven what he wanted to.  It doesn't look like he's gonna let that mole simply leave, though!  (Or that the mole wants to leave right now, for that matter.)

Zorn grits his teeth as the Excadrill barrels into him at high speed, but he stands his ground and grips the mole with both claws, holding it in place so Randolph can get a clear shot!

Zorn lets out a breath in relief as soon as Excadrill is sucked into the Dusk Ball and STAYS there.  He finds a nearby rock and sits down next to it, seemingly not caring about the cold and snow very much right now.

Zorn gets 8 exp, and Randolph gets 4.

Seeing his brutish drake's rakish grin and thoroughly cocky self-assurance of his own superiority, Ran smiles back just a little and gives a firm nod, before jabbing once more at the ironclad mole.

"Sehr gut. Put'm down and hold them steady for me, Zorn!"

One pseudo-Clash between the fierce dirt diggers - which caused Ran to swear at the brutality and nearly abandon Catching the gigantic burrower in favor of healing his Dragon - and a thrown Dusk Ball later, and *Ping!* , that Overgrown Excadrill was [i]his[/i]. He hopped off his trusty turtle stead to waddle through the snow and scoop up his - no, their prize - a savagely thrilled and toothy smile of his own beaming down on it.

"Du bist ein harter Maulwurf, großer Kerl, aber wir sind die wahren Erderschütterer hier. Sei aber nicht böse, denn jetzt bist auch du einer. Willkommen in der Crew. Lassen Sie uns zusammen mit meiner Spitzhacke und Ihren Krallen Dreck, Stein und Metall zerreißen!"

Translation: You're one tough mole, big guy, but we're the real earth-shakers here. *Chuckles* Don't be angry, though, 'cause now you're one too (now). Welcome to the crew. Let's rend dirt, stone, and metal apart together, with my pick and your claws!"

His gloating/declaration to the massive mole conclude, the midget man turned his attention toward Zorn sitting by his lonesome, and once more is reminded of how uncharacteristically acted against what was normally a sworn bitter rival for his species. A....thoughtful frown came upon him as he pondered why, until he trudged on over to scaled subterror himself to ask him that, motion for Brigid come with him and help warm the too of them up as he (Ran) hopped up on the rock to sit by him (Zorn).

"....Mind elucidating to me why you were so.....soft with Excadrill? *Snorts* And not that kind of soft. We both know that temper is about hot and unruly as mine, and you showed plenty of it against that big o' mole."

Ran shakes his head, before fixing his cave Dragon with an.....searching look.

"No, that ain't it. What I'm wondering about it.....why did ya decide to spare them? Or that Medicham, for that matter? You know I promised ya a hunt and allow you to kill your own prey, and I've kept my end of the deal so far. But twice now you decided that you ain't been in chowing down on the...targets I picked out for ya, acting like you're not interested when we both know you prefer your food fresh as it can be. So.....why? Why this change of heart, Zorn?"
