I find myself in agreement. I might use 2.0 to reference information that wasn't in 1.2.5 at all (such as Atrribute bases and limits for certain pokemon, or the statistics for some moves), but after all the prep work we've done, it'll be easier to stick to 1.2.5 as a whole. That, and the MD Module is written with versions prior to 2.0 in mind.
Ironically, I think the whole idea behind 2.0 is to simplify things and keep it simpler for everyone, both player and GM. Fewer stats, less things the GM has to weigh in on, way fewer mentions of Plot Devices...it might very well be fun to try using the new system in a future game.
Now if you'll excuse me, I need to get No One the 1.2.5 version of the book as well since Pokerole doesn't seem to like to archive its old downloads on the (now completely redesigned) website.
