So we got the choice between two easy-ish missions or going after one tougher one as our Trail Test, eh? Hmm...I say we go with the two easy ones, as we already have a Big Apple that could satisfy one of the mission requests (unless the cilent is super picky about freshness and size of them), and escorting a Pokemon out sounds easier and more noble than trying to risk getting humilated by a day dreaming criminal. That, and if the later is in the Desert, that could mean Dragonstrike could spring Sandstorm whether on us and the horrors of Grimy Food, and I rather not potentially deal with either while everyone's still at their fledgling stage. Ah, and I believe one of the group has bought an Escape Orb, so assuming we find the rescue target and snag another Apple in their associated Dungeon we could just port out of it ASAP to save time if Mission Completetion doesn't give you the option to port out like in the PMD games.
