Like some sort of illusion but one who actually can hurt the enemy? Thats why I asking in what visual version of Night Shade we are using in Kogeki case or in general of the campaigh?

When you say frightening mirage, could be anything? Like...maybe a dark version of Kogeki? Like a clone only with a more demonic appearance?

It's more like you damage the opponent's psyche rather than hurt them physically.  Fear factor and no contact and all that.

It could absolutely be a creepier version of Kogeki, though.  Games generally showcase the mirage as being a larger version of the user.
