I also hope so buddy. Let's see if I can get in the franchise someday. Also, it is truly a good idea in pre-order? I mean...you could regret later. I prefer to wait the game launch, wait to see some reviews and gameplay, and then buy the game if it worth.
Bravely is a series of games, yes. Bravely Default is the first one, Bravely Second was the sequel to that (and it teased a plot point for a potential sequel to it after the credits, just like BD did with Bravely Second), and now we have Bravely Default 2 coming very soon. Square Enix has been doing a good job with it. Excited to see what's coming next!
I've never regretted purchasing any of the Monster Hunter games, and I've played a bit of the Demo for Rise already as well. Still very fun, and I'm absolutely going to sink hundreds of hours into the full game without a doubt. IGN's also commented that Rise is more accessible and streamlined than prior entries in the series, while still feeling great to play (which is one of the goals the devs at Capcom have stated they set for the game). I have no doubt that Rise will be a success, particularly after World brought the Monster Hunter series into the international spotlight.

It could be worse. And should you manage to take the hippo out, you'll be able to recover HP naturally again after the battle.
