Speaking of which, Dragonstrike, I'm sort of at a loss at where to start at making a response post to this. Any recommendations which post I should bounce off of first?

Well, I think the argument's mostly resolved at this point, and it's also given me a chance to expand upon Marcus's character a little (which is good since this is his job request).  Maybe touch upon responding to some of what Marcus has stated?  Just a suggestion, though.
