Something different, perhaps?

Can I ask if by chance you could tell us what races and classes/subclasses you already have ready for your campaigh. You dont need to post ALL of them, but just a few you have planned for us to have a idea what options we might have in your campaigh in the future.

Its also because I want to see from the start what kinda of crazy combinations is possible with said races and classes.
Well, the campaign wasn't a sure thing. I'd obviously like to do it, but time is always a problem. Planning these things out takes very long. I could give you some kind of idea about what I had in mind though.

The mechanics of my planned campaign are very lore specific, and that's because the entire system would be based off a fictional world of my own creation. As for custom races and classes, I had a decent amount in mind that aren't seen in DnD. Satyrs, Boar-people (think about Quillboars in World of Warcraft), Mouse-people, Shark-People, Elephant-People, Crocodile-People, several assorted alien beings along with the standard races like humans, dwarves, orcs and elves. There are several more, but that should give you some kind of idea. As for classes, I was gonna completely redo the class system. There are so many spellcaster classes in dnd that basically mean the same thing. I know they do different things, but I decided to change it up a little more. I renamed Fighters to Warriors and Paladins to Templars. The reason for that second one is that historically, the word "paladin" refers to an order of french knights. Templars suit the role much better because templars were knights who answered only to the church. I got rid of clerics altogether because they're frankly a little OP, and I split their skills between Templars and Priests. Sorcerers remain how they were, but I got rid of wizards and replaced them with Runescribes. Runescribes specialise in enchanting and that sort of thing, and most of their power comes from preparation way before any event. They can still do things on the fly, but they truly shine when they get time to plan. Warlocks are kind of the same, and also kind of different. They'd be able to draw both angellic and demonic magic. Monks, Bards, Rogues, Druids and Rangers will basically stay the same, but I also introduced Shamans, Gunslingers, Necromancers, Monster Hunters, Tinkers and Spell Breakers. Shamans do some similar things to druids and Sorcerers, but their form of magic is focused a lot more on elemental power and speaking to spirits, seeing the future and other things like that. Gunslingers are self explanatory, while Necromancers specialise in cooking up diseases and plague to hurt their opponents, and they can also improve their own body due to their experiments on corpses and that sort of thing. Tinkers are craftsmen who can make anything from mechanical and magical objects to alchemical potions and Monster Hunters are pretty similar to Witchers. They'd have knowledge about various monsters, poisons and antidotes but unlike witchers, they'd be well versed at both ranged and melee combat. Spell Breakers are usually mercenaries who spend their lives training and enhancing themselves so that they can gain resistance to magic. They'e have a lot of knowledge concerning magical rituals and spells, and limited capabilities of using magic. They won't be quite as good as Sorcerers as using magic, but they make up for it with better melee combat skills.

Hope that gives you some kind of idea. I had a lot of things on my mind, and I'd still really like to do it, but time is very restrictive, unfortunately. I hope I get to do this one day.
I'm no one special. Also, here's a pupper pic:
