Well...to be quite honest, I don't like the idea of the group get full separated. Both in character and out of character, but I respect your decision if you decide to go that way.
My opinion is more or less the same as Windos. I do too think would kinda make things a bit more difficult to Dragonstrike build up the campaign since he would need to work with two groups of players instead of one.
In character Kogeki would be to much sad with Daxter and Karen decisions to leave the group. He would respect their decision since he too think in do such thing in leave the Guild before change his mind because of Marcus story and permanently stay in the Guild and by consequence the group too.
Because despite Daxter telling the things he said to Kogeki face, about him be coward or telling him worse then Team Artificer, he still consider Daxter his friend, and he remains loyal to his friends and companions. And he would continue to risk his life for them. Like he did when he try to disarm that rock or that when he offer his blood to Vilucard.
In short, perhaps he would try to persuade Daxter and Karen stay in the group so he (Kogeki) could do his job in protect his companions. But if that doesn't work, he would accept and respect their decisions in leave the group.
Overall both IC and OOC I don't like the idea of the group to split that way. In the beginning of the campaign when we see the way they treat us (Artificer, Team Gallop, Condelkurr gang) I did think in leave in the group and the Guild because of the frustration we were having after our tries in be "nice" or follow the rules. But I not trying that anymore because:
1 - Leaving the group at this point is not a good idea because the stuff Dragon is planning is inside the Guild.
2 - The campaign is already slow in certain points as it is. Two differents groups of players would slow things even more (in my opinion).
And also because, well, we been surviving most of the battles because we have good healing items and Karen support skills. And because Daxter and Karen along with Kee is the people who have Spread attacks to hit multiple enemies. Battles we would face would be even more difficult to continue to face.
So unless Dragonstrike would make stay NPC members good enough to replace Daxter and Karen absence, I would rather you two to stay.
