So Spira still has it somewhere and it never got back to Nathan et. al, okay.
I am writing up a resolution for Spira for fun (How I originally wanted his story to conclude), and that was a detail that I didn't want to leave out just in case.

As Spirit said, I think the Helm was left in Heart's care after everything was resolved to spread the power out a little.  So I don't think you need to worry about that part.
