Sounds like kind of a cruel creation, these Dragonflesh Forged, given they're slaves and experimented on. Would it be possible that, once encountered and defeated, to try recruit one of them to train or brainwash them into an ally to fight with you? Not for you, with you, as in 'not commanding them like a master'.

Ah no problem friend. Dont fret about it.

Indeed. Well, maybe a recent created Dragonflesh is possible to persuade, since its mind problably not FULLY devoured by the by draconic blood in his veins and his mind complete warp by the Obsidian Dragon. So it is possible.

But a old one? Almost impossible, since its mind could might be already gone so far, and all thats left is Mindless creature with the sole purpose is kill and destroy everything in its path. And impossible to be tamed or control by anyone unless you are a Obsidian Dragon. Or a REALLY powerfull Gem Dragon.

In D&D Gem Dragons is special, since they have a strong conection to a power called Psionics. Its a big complicated concept, but to put in short, is basically a power who born from the mind of the user, and can have cool things you see most of the time: Read minds. Telekinesis. Make things burn. The usual stuff. It is a rare gift among certain individuals, but there races who have a innate power to psionics, and Gem Dragons have a connection to it. And Obsidian Dragons is a Gem Dragon, the most vicious and mallevolent one. They basically mind fuck the Dragonflesh Forged in many ways. Like its said, the method they used is a mystery, but the main ingredient is flesh from a dragon. ANY dragon flesh.

Yeah, including other Obsidian Dragon. They dont respect even the dead of their own kind. In my campaigh, MOST Dragonflesh is either extinct or hiding in the dephs of the earth, and most of them is old. REALLY REALLY old.

And its get worse: In certain circunstances, a Dragonflesh Forged can though a mutation and become a being know as Dragonflesh Abomination, a full mutated dragon with even less humanoid appearance but a mockery and...wrong appearance of what suppose to be a dragon.

Stronger, faster, a powerfull breath weapon and now with the ability to fly, but loosing any leftover of humanity within. I might soon post a Thread here with the information and stat blocks of the Dragonflesh Abomination just for reference.

And @Iron, since you run a D&D campaigh, you could use this creature too if you and make any modifications you want.
Kogeki currently ability to active in battles: Anticipation.
