[Meta Thread] Pokerole Mystery Dungeon: Primal Shadows

I've been meaning to say this for a bit, but I haven't really been using the conditional willpower rules that Windos used in CCV for PS so far.  For a resource like that, you generally have to spend it before you make any rolls if it guarantees a success (it counts towards crit chance as well, so it can be useful even on larger accuracy pools).  Ignoring pain penalties with Will can be conditional though since I can apply that before actually rolling anything (like 'if I have -2 pain, spend 1 Will to ignore Pain for the rest of the Round')

I've been letting it slide for a bit, but I think it's about time I mentioned that so we can all be on the same page here.  The book is pretty clear that you need to declare you're spending Will before you've rolled the dice (which means when you give me your orders for the round, and I can't tack on Will points to failed accuracy checks)

I don't think there were any big examples in MCM where I used it either?  That's a bit harder to fact check though tbh.  I don't really remember if I used the rule there or not.

This may require a larger discussion, though I think the baseline Willpoint rules have been working out for this campaign so far.
