I've been revisiting Temtem sporadically. Primarily for luma hunting in the Saipark.
Why is every luma I own female?! I can't breed more lumas effectively with just females!
Been wanting to get back into cassette beasts since I'm still in the early game, but I haven't checked if the performance issues on Switch have been ironed out yet. (Lag spikes during area transitions and random crashes when the game first released were 'fun')
I can relate. Been doing my...third run I guess? I never finished the game, since I uninstall the game to have more space to other things, and when I return I forgot where I was going. And start a new game to test other Temtem. Right now, I inspired to try a Crystal/Ground type run, where I try to make a full team made of those types. Crystal type is my favorite type in Temtem because I think the crystalized style is beautiful as hell. Ground I also because they are pretty strong (and because I need a type coverage against Fire Temtem...).
And been having a blast on Cassette Beasts. The game is pretty charming. The customization of moves is pretty dope where you can take off moves of other Monsters and put in other Monsters if they are capable of learning, the open world where you go to almost any direction you want. You make your path. And the battles are challenge, specially against the bosses of the game. Even the mini bosses I had a hard time.
But I must admit the main reason the game caught along with the beasts design (that I like most beasts in general) is the fusions. You and Windos know how much I love the concept of fuse two beings to make a new one (Need to play again Pokemon fusion again because I miss to make fusion abominations). And the fusions on Cassette Beasts are pretty charming. Not all of them is perfect. But they are charming.
I exploring everything I can and I can't wait to see what the game have in stored just yet! And what beasts I will mix in my playthrough.
Edit: Oh, and I can't forget to speak about the music! The soundtracks are pretty awesome, specially when you fuse, and the music change to vocal! It is pretty epic when you are drop to 0 health, and then go to: "You are powerful...but we are not done! Partner! Let's fuse!" And then the go: "Fusion go brr!" And as far I can tell, the fusions against bosses it's not a insta win, you still need a good strategy to defeat bosses, specially if they have their super move charged. Get shields ready because things is about to get nasty!
Kogeki currently ability to active in battles: Anticipation.
