Ventus couldn't help but weakly chuckle at her answer, looking back into the cavern ceiling, as if searching it for answers.

Sometimes......more than we ever wish for. You, with your form of precognition, and me with my natural empathy........its both a blessing and curse to have theses talents, yes?"

He then sighs again, closing his eyes and frowning to himself as he said: "Despite that, I find myself now wondering what in the hell I'm doing anymore."

When Lilith reveals Kirlia, the empath tilted his head at them too, before saying: "Oh, do they have the same questions as us, Lilith? Or is their something....more you are trying to tell me?"

Nathan shrugs.  "Just all met back at Mallorn's lab in Trillium.  He had various things for each of the five of us that met there that day...permits, job offers, information, a job for those working for him...things kinda just started from there."

It is now Day 61.
Encounters are never resolved until everyone's had a chance to say which they want. Valder is an exception by his own request - he just hops in if he happens to come online.

Still no sign of any bugs pursuing you! Slurpuff doesn't even smell any nearby.

As discussed, you use your new Rock Smash access to take a shortcut, which leads you downhill. You come to a very strange cavern. The walls glow with a somewhat familiar meteoric sheen! Nathan can identify it as Meteoric Superconductor at once. The geology of this place suggest it has sunk from far far far far above, and become filled in. Broad muddy grooves in the wall, marking the area's path, have metamorphized into stone. The floor is extremely tough granite, flecked with MS.

The air is very heavy. Your movements, too, are feeling sluggish in the weird atmosphere. You can expect to become tired after 2 Encounters, instead of the usual 3.

That's still not the strangest thing about that cavern. There's grass growing, in complete absence of light. It's the Long Grass which presents occasional patches aboveground in Creshire, the scent of which always attracts Pokemon like a Sweet Scent. It's growing up from a crazy web of cracks in the granite, where mud has seeped through, and it swathes the entire floor except for a thin strip near the walls. The brush absorbs your light.

Kirlia narrows his eyes at it, as if thinking about something in his... past?
Gothitelle, by contrast, seems very comfortable.
Slowking is merely curious. But all the Psychic and Dark types feel a little weird here.

Lots of Pokemon rustle in the grass.

A new day have begin. After the events of past night, Heart recover very well. No bugs and no angry Legendary pokemon. Heart them look in the direction and see a Beldum! "Neat! With another Beldum along with the one I will hatch...hohoho future Metang here we go!"

After seeing that, he see the little one lurking around. Heart careful aproach and see the little Beldum. "Hello there little one. Sorry to bother you. Can I talk with you for a bit?"

Beldum just rotates in the air, somewhat helplessly. Its single eye remains fixed on Heart. Every now and then it floats lower to the ground and bounces slowly off of it. It gives the impression of floating in space like you've seen astronauts do in videos.

''Awww ^^ What a cute one. Well, thats a nice place you call home. But do you ever want to evolve into a more powerfull form? As a might powefull Metang? Back in my home, I have a egg of Beldum too. Still need to hatch it, but when it hatch, you two can meet each other and transform into a almight and powerfull Metang. What you say Beldum? What to hang out with me and get a neat form?"

A simple enough strategy, but a legitimate one!

Beldum shakes its head/eye and scrabbles at the meteoric vein. It would like to evolve, but it prefers staying right here where the meteor stuff is. 

Heart then stopping thinking for a while. Perhaps its not possible to Beldum go with him because he likes that place with meteor stuff. 

Wait a minute...meteor stuff? Aha!

Then again Heart talk with Beldum once again. "I know how to convince you. In my homeland, Sinnoh, there is a City called Veilstone City, a city filled with many types of rocks. Including meteor rocks. Many many many rocks to your own delight. I still need to finish a few things here in Cheshire, but I promise to you when I finish everything, I will take you to see Veilstone City. What you say?"

Mechanic: Convince Beldum to go with him! I think I deserve a little bonus of +1 in the dice for remember such information like Veilstone City. Please?

You....once asked why she's actually bearing the same nickname like your...what was the species' name again.... Quetzoral, yes. We can talk about...at some point. Maybe not right now though, there's something weird 'bout....this Tall Grass."

The researcher looked a bit surprised that Shiva remember his curiosity concerning their choice in name for her Gothitelle when he only half recalled it himself, before he smiled and nodded his head. "I'd like that, and thank you for remembering and entertain my curiosity, dear. Careful investigating the Long Grass, though, for you never know what might leap out at your from it!"

Fufu, arousing this Liepard's curiosity was something Shiva may not have expected to happen, but now it was indeed way too late to bid farewell - too much funtime has been shared, athough fae enthusiast and huge dark cat only met like a few minutes ago! Hopefully she'll get that frisbee back later, though, but if the cat wants to keep it....? Or even join her for even MORE funtime... Let's see. Casual playing with a wild Pokemon without the direct intention to obtain it's willingness to tag along was fine as well, and a great pastime.

Liepard received a bit more applause from Shiva, and an awed smile that she may not see however. "Very well done, I wouldn't have expected otherwise from graceful you! Now... Next Round! Yes, that's usually a battle, but it's a battle where grace and a fine dsiplay of your moves get the most attention. The winner may not always be the directly 'stronger' one. Your opponent....will be mentioned dog of mine, the one you've already got to know briefly! Yena, your cue, show yourself to me in the darkness!"

A cloud of shield dust revealed her special Mightyena's position, he has swiftly leaped in front of her, all ready to take on that cat. He began to growl, before he took a deep breath to fill the whole field of Long Grass they're in with loud howl ! No way he's backing off a CAT, even if it was twice as big as him!

"Good performance, Yena! So, Liepard, show me some of your skills please! Can you win against a dog bearing the same Type as you? But! Let us be fair and NOT FAINT each other, alright? Passing out doesn't grant any points." Dramatically, Shiva pointed forward, before "Yena....show her your newest move."

That mild breeze Shiva does notice, but she doesn't do more than turning her head in its direction for a moment before getting back to her battle.

Note that Shiva gets +6 on the Rolls for Init Order from now on as I raised her Survival Skill to 3.
Yena's also at 7/8hp due to Fake Out.
At no point Shiva will try to catch this Liepard, if it by chance would like to come with her without her asking, fine, otherwise it was 'just' a one-time funtime with a huge dark cat!~

Kirlia is rather self sure about himself, without doubt, and his devotion towards Nathan is strong too, thought I feel that its to the point of detriment in the later case, if neither can truly function well without the other as I've seen when they were.....last seperated. They've grown far too....dependent on each other in my opinion, if that makes any sense to you Lilith."

Looking at Shiva through the psychic's powers, he couldn't help but fondly smile to himself as he gazed upon their splendidness, before he turned to the fortune teller with a slightly playful smile.

"Forgive me for my curiosity, but I have always wondered if you ever forseen that Shiva would be your trainer, or if your meeting with her was just a happy coicendence. Its hard to tell in most cases whether a Gothitelles is choosen by someone or the other way around, so if you could humor me with an answer....?"

A stray thought then occurs to him, prompting him to ask her: "Oh, and would you care to properly aquant yourself with my Natu Haziel sometime?  He's from a precognitive species too, though he's more of a seer than a astrologist like you are, but I feel there could be much shared between you two and wonderful friendship, if you permit."
