Heart hand over the pokeball of Delta Onix to the hands of Director North. "Take care of him okay? Also, I would like to take a look in that Riolu and that Beldum please. My friend Nathan have a Beldum egg with him, and with another one they can together former a Metang. I also carrying a Metang egg with me too. We both receive as gift."

"Riolu is very violent, but very...cheerful. It's a little disturbing. We bring him tree trunks which he punches into splinters."
Indeed, that's exactly what the little Riolu is doing. He's humming a bit as he delivers different kicks and punches to the treetrunk, which is already half gone.

Beldum is nearby too, in a big glass cage. It just floats there, occasionally bumping up against the glass.

"No problemo doc. I already have some kind of experience to deal with violent pokemon. One almost break my hand and I just fine. One grumpy Riolo its not that bad. But I know a certain monk friend of mine who would might think awesome that Riolu."


Heart careful aproach the little hot head Riolu, but stop to a good distance between them. He looks to the treetrunk half gone and open a smile. "Impressive. For a young Riolu, you have quite experience in fighting. And you look pretty tough. Awesome."

Heart look in the direction of the big glass cage and ask. "Why is he trapped in that cage?"

Riolu flexes to show he's even tougher than Heart thinks. Then he kicks Heart in the shin.

"RIOLU! Bad!" The Director squirts him with a waterbottle and Riolu backs away.

"Beldum is in the cage because otherwise he drifts into the way of other Pokemon or gets himself into dangerous situations. Like getting between Riolu and his punching bag."

"Ouch!" Heart feel a lot of that pain. "Urgh...I okay doc dont worry. I already worse than that." Heart stand up and look in the direction of Riolu. "Huh, I know a friend of mine who would be cool to be your trainer. He is a monk and have some awesome style to be tough. I believe you too would have a good synergy. Anyway, I think you have a lot of energy to redirect you stress. How about we have a little battle Riolu? You versus Caesar my Nidorino. Its been a while since he was in a fight, and he would love to have a battle session. And you looks like someone who loves battles. What you say?"

Heart look with eyebrow in the direction of that Beldum and talk again. "I believe Nathan would find a way to deal with Beldum. Mind if I enter in contact with my friends and see if I can bring them here to take a look in Riolu and Beldum? They are in Cress City, but I can teleport to there using my Natu with no big problems. And of course send a message to them."

"Feel free, Heart. You know it is always our goal to adopt out our Pokemon. Riolu is $1200, Geodude is $1750, and Beldum...he doesn't eat much or do anything if he's in that cage, so $500."

Riolu looks eager to battle! "Well...you can have a battle in the yard if you wish."

Tanuki parts Zigzagoon's stripes to reveal the Boulangerite Badge. It's a dull gray in color, but very interesting and complex in form. It has little shelves and needles of gray, a bit like Tanuki's trademark spiky Pokemon. Viewed one way the shelves form a flower; from another angle you can see corals and nests and other interesting structures. And of course it's studded with holographic material.

"The Boulangerite Badge increases a Pokemon's speed and accuracy! It will help you with being striking first, evading when it's wise to do so, and making more attacks in a row!" (+ 0.5 Dex)

Nathan takes it and sticks it in the special sleeved page in his journal!

And with both it and Chuckles's Gym Badge collected, Nathan's Dexterity has increased to 6!  Now he's as fast and fluid as Sid!  Woo hoo!  Think he's nimble enough yet?  (And just for the lolz, Calam has 7 Dex now, and +11 to his Initiative  ) 

"Now that feels good.  First set of two complete!  Alright!"

Nathan packs that away...

"So...Rock Smash.  Yeah, trying to keep it a secret for now.  Don't want to draw too much attention to it for obvious reasons.  Surf is one thing since the League still has a copy hanging around.  An HM where the last known copy was broken in an attempt to replicate it...yeah, that's another.  I only really considered using Rock Smash in our battle for two reasons: there were no spectators...and it's literally the only Fighting type move Gallade has learned so far since he only just evolved two days ago.  Well, and I kinda wanted to show off, too..."

"...oh yeah, that reminds me.  Surf.  Shiva said that someone used Surf in the Little Cup?  Is that true?"

"OH! Sure, I'll help you keep it a secret. Could I maybe have Zigzagoon learn it, for out-of-battle only? You know, for our explorations deep in Mount Sentry? You can get back to me later on that."

"Yes, there was a trainer with silver hair and a big golden belt on who used it. It was not cute, but it let him attain easy victory. He could probably be looked up in the League database, but I remember his name from when I announced him as the winner! Anaster. Seems to keep mostly to himself unless he's in a high-stakes battle."

"OH! Sure, I'll help you keep it a secret. Could I maybe have Zigzagoon learn it, for out-of-battle only? You know, for our explorations deep in Mount Sentry? You can get back to me later on that."

"...I'll have to discuss that with everyone else in my group.  I personally think it'd be reasonable, if only because it would definitely help you if you ever happen to run into Seikamater.  But yeah, we're trying to avoid...well, exactly this kind of situation on a large scale, to be blunt.  Probably going to be in the area for a few more days at least, so there should be plenty of time to get back to you on that."




"Anaster?  Gold belt?  Silver hair?  Those...sound familiar..."

"...oh yeah, the crowd favorite...Dagny also mentioned that some guy in a gold belt gave her a rather difficult battle...huh...man, I can't believe I missed someone using that move...I think I was underneath your tower when that happened...it was raining at that point, right?  Must have been pretty impressive...I think he had a...Dratini, right?  Was that the pokemon that used Surf?"

Heart open a smile to see the little one eager to fight. "Huh, it seems you have some hot blood with you Riolu. Caesar, hold yourself your strengh a bit okay? Lets begin with something cool to begin with. Horn Attack and then use Double Kick!"

A few minutes later, and Nathan's returned with Solosis...who then proceeds to predictably and skittishly hide behind Nathan.

"...the Scimitars...they brainwashed a bunch of members of the Solosis family and were using them to scout the labyrinthine tunnels of Mt. Sentry.  This little gal here was subject to that.  Thanks to Celebi's help, she's free now and has her emotions and willpower back, and the metal antenna the Scimitars stuck in her head is completely gone now, but...there's a lot more of them still under the Scimitars' control.  Celebi was...not pleased when she heard that.  At all."

Well, that'll probably take Tanuki's mind off of Dragonair.  Nathan has a little more to say about this, but I wonder how Tanuki initially reacts to the news?
