[Game Thread] Pokerole: Mount Coronet Mystery
" 'Pokemon Center' sounds good." Not as good as 'let's go back to the soundboard room' or, even better, 'Let's go home', but right now EVERYTHING was better than freezing to death in an unknown cave. He also accepts that sleeping bag thankfully, and that's where Sylveon comes to life: She sniffs at it, purrs at that light lavender scent and then happily sinks her teeth into the fabric (to her disappointment it does not taste like grape soda).

He takes an n'th look at that mural when Karen mutters something about it, but right now, he just wants to leave this thing far behind. What its meaning is, he has no idea, but he's smart enough that it must somewhat have to do with why dafaque he landed here.

"If you permit me, I have a better solution." Kogeki toss a Pokeball and release Nagi. "Nagi, warm a bit this trainer. He is freezing." Nagi careful approach the trainer. "Don't worry. Nagi is a Antarki. He is a guide Pokemon." Kogeki was with his arm hide by the clothes and he see Mynya. "So...you are a Tandorian too?"

He was JUST about  to give Kogeki a look of (¬_¬); and to repeat himself by emphasizing 'Get away from here first, then ask questions', before Sylveon cooed and tightened the grip of her ribbons wrapped around his arm. "You're right, Octavia." A few deep breaths of (unpleasantly frigid) air later, a more down-to-earth response came.  "Tandorian? Humm... Partly, at best. I'm no lost soul nor am ready to die though, so maybe you'd better let that Antarki of yours GUIDE us outta here, perferably alive."

Being stuck in a wet and icy cave for hours obviously didn't do well on his mood.

Nagi disagrees with the trainer on the whole 'lost' situation, and makes that clear by shaking his head after the trainer says they aren't lost.  It's obvious to him that the trainer isn't where they should be.

At the very least, though, Nagi's presence is warming the air around him.  It's a lot more effective than Mercury's Heat Wave.

Anything you guys want to do before leaving the cave?

Wait! Before going Kogeki take pictures of the mural for Professor Rowan check later. "Hmm. Another one. One in Mt. Coronet. Another in Tsukinami Village. And now one here..."

Can you make a description of the wall @Dragonstrike and tell us if is the same Wall Kogeki see in Tsukinami and Mt. Coronet?

The mural that Kogeki saw while he was in Tandor is similar, but not quite the same, as the triangle featured three different, specific Legendaries instead of the typical ones described by Sinnoh's mythology and legends.

The one in the Cave of Knowledge is exactly the same as the other three that Kogeki, Karen, and Randolph have all seen in other locations, however.  The same triangle of indistinct pokemon that could be the Lake Trio or the Creation Trio, the Legendary in the middle that could be interpreted as Dialga/Palkia or Arceus, and the same diverse, indistinct, ominous pokemon with what looks like some kind of aura surrounding it attacking the triangular pattern.

It takes Gama three trips to get everyone across the lake this time.  The entire time that he's doing so, it feels like the trees are watching your every move...but that's silly, right?  Trees don't have eyes, after all.

Lake Acuity's quiet, though.

Maybe a little too quiet, on second thought.

The water is perfectly still, there's a gentle breeze...

...but as soon as Gama has deposited the final of the three trainers on the actual shoreline and clambered out of the water himself...

...it begins to Hail.

Insight + Survival + Alert rolls for everyone as they immediately start looking around to try and pinpoint the source of the weather.

Karen's Alert: (2)(2)(5)(2) 1 success
Kogeki's Alert: (6)(4)(1)(4)(3)(1)(1)(1) 1 success
Mystery Trainer's Alert: (6)(6)(2)(1)(4)(6)(3)(1) 3 successes

?'s Stealth: (4)(4)(1)(2)(2)(3)(3)(1)(3) 1 success

Between everyone, they manage to figure out that there are three different points of origin for this sudden snowstorm.

And at each central point, the trees actually do have eyes.

Twelve Snover emerge from the treeline in three different places, their ambush foiled completely.  The Snover Swarm rushes in and surrounds the group instead, separating the three trainers from each other and effectively forcing them to fight on three different battlefields.  There's plenty of shoreline to fight on, but it's all bordered by a thick line of trees and the water of the lake, making the battlefields all rather linear and small, and they're made even smaller by the Snover as they crowd in and surround the trainers and their pokemon!  There's barely enough space for a single person and two smaller pokemon to all stand side by side!  If you want to summon a pokemon with more than 4 base HP, you cannot use a second pokemon at the same time unless at least one of the two pokemon are able to swim (results may vary since this water is freezing cold), are Flying type, or have Levitate.

Each trainer has to fight four Snover.  2 in front of the trainer, 2 behind them, as the Snover are surrounding everyone.  So, which pokemon are you guys sending out in response?

I had a scene ready, but I in no mood to write it so all I do is throw a potion on Nagi and keep Gama in the field. Since Leftovers don't heal outside of battle (again, have mentioned that earlier) other healing methods will need to be done.
