Little Bro is non-plussed about you not having all the component/know how to evolve him, and seem perfectly content to wait however long to become the unknown Ghost Eeveelution while he melted at your touch.

Big Sis, on the other paw, seemed to pout angrily at you (unintentionally) baiting/teasing her with the Knowledge of her Draconic Evolution, but as you went on to explain that look transitioned into one of surprise at their being Variants of the evo, then pensiveness as she considered the differences and strengths of Noble and Savage Wyvreons.

After a little while spent thinking on it, Ridia fixed you a stare and let out an impressive Growl, miming a Strike at you. The message behind the pantomiming was clear: 'I want to be a Savage Wyvreon, rawr!!!' While being Noble would give her impressive fortitude and good options to defend her fluffy little brother, she's always felt that the best defense was a good offense, and that a little (or a lot) of violence can do more to make sure he stays safe rather than turtling or taking it on the chin! Her decision was also a matter of personality preference as well, as she rather go with Evolutionary Variant that stuck truer to her current aggressive spitfire self, rather that it be doused and be turned into an aloof stick in the mud like Yang, bleh!

"Heh.  Ya know, you do remind me of Inari oh so much, Ridia.  Unfortunately for him, though, he's now a Noble Wyvreon.  Partially because my mother was still experimenting and hadn't discovered what the results were going to be, but I do still wonder how he's taking the whole thing..."

Besides, this is his loving, overprotective, and nurturing sister and practically surrogate mother/mother figure we're talking about here. He could NEVER be afraid of her!!!

For her part, Sister Fiercest looked offended at the notion that ANYTHING could EVER damage or warp the bond between her and their brother, pausing in devouring her delicious meal to fix you with a deadpan glare that pretty much said: 'We've been close together since long before you entered our lives, and evolving into a Wyvreon is NOT going to change that, so can it buster.'

The psychic butler, who has been quietly hovering in the background as per standard protocol, gave a solemn, solitary nod of his head in response, before he began to clean up after everyone, packing everything away on the trolley he brought and wheeling off to wherever the kitchens are. You wonder how he's really taking everything that's been happening lately underneath that formal/professional training/composure of his, but it seems that whatever his true feelings are on things they are not interfering in his work or your business.

Seeing as you didn't issue any orders for Arial, he just silently follows you out of the A.V. and onto the streets of Celadon, Gasper perched on his shoulder and both looking Alert for anything suspect that might dare throw a wrench in your plans.

As for how the mood of the eventful city has faired since last nights events....well, things are certainly tense and uneasy, but it doesn't seem like the public is anymore paranoid or suspicious than they have been lately, so that's great! What's not so great, though, is the increased police presence that are patrolling the central Festival Grounds and the surrounding areas, all of them looking a fair bit more seasoned and attentive than the previous coppers you or the madman had to deal with before. Getting up to mischief would certainly be harder with them loitering around, but then again neither of you have much of a reason at this point to break the law save to make a quick buck, so it balances out in the end.

Oh, and three more things to point out: Angelica is currently hanging out in the coffee shop you meet Lindworm in, Erika is nowhere to be found right now-probably still busy getting 'acquainted' with Team Rocket's operations and hierarchy- and that at some point in the day (though not right now in the first Encounter) you'd have to get back in touch with Proton on how you've been handling things....well, if he's not still busy doing IA (Internal Affairs) stuff, anyway....

You noticeably less mad (than usual) bodyguard gives you a crooked smile at your orders, before sticking both hands in his pockets and marches on over to see what's the electrian's deal is. While he's more than happy to go off and do his own thing without you breathing down his neck, he's also not too thrilled either at not being able to do his original job. Still, you are the boss, and after last night he doesn't want to test his luck or your patience, so off he goes! (I'll be doing all their stuff offscreen, so let's move on to the good stuff!)

When you go over to investigate that....odd person you caught a glimpse of in the throngs of people, you are able to get a much better look at them....and almost immediately tried to make yourself discrete afterwards, as wierd really doesn't began to do justice to their....uniqueness, and you've begun to associate weird people with those not so terribly good for your stress levels.


For starters, the clothing their wearing....well, it was some bizaare mish-mas dress-suit that was either a abomination to all fashion or a REALLY daring way to express oneself. The 'piece' was split down the middle yet seemly/smoothly woven together, with the left half being a fine jet black single piece dress that extended all the way to the calves, and the other half was pristine and stylish white tuxedo that uncomfortably reminded you of a certain purple hair psycho . Additionally, the person was wearing one black high heal and one white dress shoe on their respective sides of the 'piece', and the stranger's hair was similarly made up to match the 'style' of their clothing, with long curly hair on the dress side and fancifully spiked up white hair on the suit side. Finally, their facial feature were almost completely androgynous, with only black eyeliner/shading applied to the 'dress side' of the person and perfectly grey lipstick making them lean towards feminity.

Overall....well, I'll just leave it to Reiner [and you, Dragonstrike] to form your own opinion.


Before you could make your escape, the person catches sight of you, who quirks their eyebrows for a moment before a small smile forms on their face and they decide to neatly intercept your path, forcing you to confront them head on. Oh joy.

"Hmm....I have a good feeling about you. Yes....you'll do nicely. Very nicely...."

They said that straight to your disguised face as they swept their gaze up and down your form, their voice complete neutral in regard to maleness/femaleness, but full of curiosity, satisfaction, and airy mirth.

After doing their evaluation, they nodded to themselves before looking at you, appearing pleased as they demurely smiled at you and bow with one arm across their chest.

"Greetings. I go by the name Fluidity, sir, and I am a collector, researcher, engineer...well, I'm just about everything in regards to extraordinary and fantastical. Or anything that catches my interest, if I am to be frank. I ask you this: would you be interested in challenging me to a battle, and seeing my unique Pokémon? It'll be a real treat for you during and after the battle, I guarantee. I might just also have an offer for you that would leave you financially well off and the talk of this city for quite some time....if you can impress me enough with your performance in our fight, that is, hm hm (this is them laughing, btw). What do you say? Have I piqued your interest, sir?"

...Yeap, they are definitely more than just odd. They are Odd.

The Odd person brought a hand up to their mouth to smother their laughter, until they stopped to grin at you with unabashed amusement.

"Blunt as a nine iron too, aren't you sir? How very nice and honest of you, hm hm! No, no, you were right the first time - I'm 'divided but whole' , as some might say. When they aren't too busy trying avoid me, that is, but such is the way of the common man: embrace the dull standards, reject the bizarre happenstance. A boring way to live in my opinion, but its a life of simple comforts too, so I don't really begrudge them."

At that moment they smoothly shrugged their shoulders in seeming acceptance of that fact, an easy smile now on their face as they glibly continued.

"All offers have their terms and conditions, sir, and mine is certainly not an exception! But, seeing a you haven't even earned the chance to receive it yet, I wouldn't worry about the details. Rather meaningless to do so if you don't know what they even are, hmm? I will tell you this, though: all will be explained if you earn the offer, and you can always refuse if you don't like what you hear. Fair is fair, right?"

Fluidity then smoothly transitioned to stating the terms of their challenge, as if they were sure you were going to accept it. Which, in a purely mechanical way speaking, they are spot on in their assumption.

"I have 6 Pokémon of my collection with me right now, so I would like to fight and share them all with them if at all possible, though I can certainly be accommodating if you have less than a full team. No Items of any kind besides the nick nacks our Pokémon carry, and no overly gosh tactics like Sleep or OHKO - those styles of play always bring a pale to everything, in my opinion. Beyond that, though....hm hm, anything goes."

They place on hand on the hip area and extend their dress hand towards you, and simply says with a bemused smile : "Is that all acceptable, sir?"
