The Fairy room also had TMs in it. (3 of your choice).

In that case, I'd like to get a copy of Dazzling Gleam.

And if all the elemental rooms are like this, then that presumably means that all of the remaining 16 types also have 3 TMs up for grabs, yes?  This sounds like a golden opportunity for teaching some wishlist moves for our characters...

The Girafarig just keeps chomping at you and does not answer.

Oh, a scared Granbull and a pale and unhappy Florges... ( ._.) Shiva kinda starts to get the feeling that the more she explores these Elemental Rooms, the more it'll hurt her sensitive heart to see such precious Pokemon in such a bad state. H-however, she also pulls it through and herself together to keep going regardless! ( ÒωÓ)و☆

While she can't and probably shouldn't free these cage'd Pokemon now, she can try something to maybe calm their minds and soothe their fear for just a bit: Pulling out that precious Icy Flute she got from the League to play a beautiful and sweet melody to them, like she did twards the strange alienmon in Wargame Forest. Do Skelenuke (in a flashback), Granbull+ Florges and Girafarig react to that?

Huh well, Shiva keeps looking at Girafarig as it just continues chomping at her instead of answering, a bit of a sad smile on her face. THEN she works up her courage, lets the Ancient Shield protect herself from any physical damage and lets this Girafarig chomp her hand once. She shouldn't feel any pain thanks to the protection, but maybe(?) this palindromon can vent off some anger this way and answer her in some way NOW.

Now about the TMs, if the Fairy Room ALSO has some and we as a party are allowed to choose 3 total, Shiva joyfull picks a pinkish TM of Play Rough herself! Such a cool and sweet move. <3
That's also a valid question Nathan's bringing up: Does EVERY of these Elemental Rooms hold a bookshelf of TMs = can we pick some disks from EVERY room?

Yep! You can pick 3 TMs of each element as a party, or sell them for $2500 each. But no exceptions to the list - it has to be a TM in SOME generation, and the MOVE has to be in the rulebook.

Lol letting Girafarig chomp you is hilarious. It tickles! But you're sensing that the Girafarig is not just being frustrated. It's seriously trying to mess your hand up. Likewise, the flute has no effect on Girafarig but does have its normal soothing effect on the other caged mons.

Cooooooool! I'll work up a small list of TMs Shiva wishes to pick from the shelves then. ٩(◕‿◕。)۶

Oof, the damage done to her hand if Shiva would have NOT protected it via the Ancient Shield... She pulls it away and rubs it relatively soon. But seeing Girafarig so aggressively makes her sympathize with this special and rare Pokemon only more, what has been done to them to cause such a manner, what were they exposed to, what has happened to them?! Now it kinda makes sense that they're in a cage much smaller than them, but it's still painful to look at.

Well then, no other option left but to investigate this out-of-place-rug herself!~ Shiva does so by approaching it, placing a hand on it, stepping on it and; if nothing has happened yet, pull it aside to reveal what may or may not be hidden beneath it.

Fwooof! You pull aside the rug to reveal the glowing, malevolent symbol of the Eye!

Instantly, the mood of antagonism within the room increases. It affects each of you differently, though. Some of you may be moved to fight and destroy. Others to compete, and win. Or simply to master a skill until you are high above anyone else...

Nathan's been aiming to achieve what his father could not ever since he started collecting Gym Badges.  To get stronger and stronger, until he's reached the very top or the limits of his strength...

However, encountering the Scimitars and Almanac countless times, learning of the alien threat to the region, and experiencing the amplified effects of the Eye deep in the Skull Ruins, Nathan has since found another goal, a purpose for that strength that few have: to defend the region from those that would seek to harm it, to bend it to their wills and turn it into something it is not.

Nathan knows not how long the Eye's influence has been affecting the land and its people, nor how it may or may not have shaped modern day Pokemon Training and competition...

...but from what he's observed and experienced, he believes that he may one day have to turn his strength on that influential Eye to prevent it from overrunning and corrupting the region of Creshire.

And so Nathan's immediate reaction to the reveal of the symbol on the floor is to attempt to control and channel his emotions towards his goal, then stab and break the symbol with the Sword in an attempt to disrupt the aggressive energies!  If it wants him to compete, then he'll contest it in a battle of wills and prove that he can beat it!

This is no ordinary trainer that the Eye is influencing, but one that's received Celebi's blessing and the favor of Mesprit.  If anyone in Creshire can attempt to resist the effects to some degree, it's likely to be Nathan.

-----------------------------------------------

Gallade, however, reacts a little differently.  Despite his near constant calm, stoic demeanor, being in an Almanac lab and seeing all these poor pokemon suffering at the hands of the organization...it makes his blood boil with rage at the injustice.  He rushes over to the one of the empty cages and rapidly turns it into scrap metal, effortlessly dismantling the bars with slice after slice of his blades and repeated blows from his fists!  He will not let another innocent be trapped behind those bars, not after everything he's seen and suffered!

The moment the E y e is revealed, Ventus' own pair of peepers shrink to pin pricks at the sight of it, his already elevated heart rate going into overdrive......before they (his eyes) roll up into his head and he slumps to the floor, knocked out completely cold. Unlike the others, the eccentric researcher neither had the familiarity with that horrid power nor the strength of mind to resist it, and so he simply passed out once he gotten full exposure to it. Ick....

The Eye's force of will does not resist your efforts to destroy it. If anything, it fuels the anger that drives the ancient Sword home, right into the pupil. You're drawn close to make that strike, and as the sword sinks in you find yourself driving down on the blade until the hilt touches the floor and you are nearly prone over top of it.

Nathan gets 4XP for a reason that will be explained much later.

The mood of the room begins slowly changing, and in a few minutes Girafarig has calmed down enough to be treated like any other scared, wounded Pokemon.

Eeeeeeeeekkkkk, it's THE EEEEEEYYYEEEE ! Σ(°ロ°) Shiva immediately flinches away from it and tosses the rug wherever to get as much space between herself and That Eye as only possible for her in this small psychic Elemental Room. Yet however she finds herself unable to not staaaaare at it, covering her eyes with her hands and semi-hiding behind the Ancient Shield does not help.

Now she can understand WHY this precious Girafarig has been so determined to mess up her hand.

I like the thought/idea that in Shiva's particular case The Eye powers up her will to protect those she cares for - may it be a dear Pokemon of her own, a loved person or a wild 'Mon that needs help -, to believe in herself regardless what wants to bring her down, to stand up against all the odds, to go her way with confidence and determination: In shorter words, to simply show that she CAN shine among others even if she herself prefers to not place herself on center stage.

Nooooo, not Ventus! \(>o<;\ ) A certain young and sensitive fae-enthusiast is immediately there to 1.) grant the protection of the Ancient Shield to him to prevent any damage from his fall and 2.) place his head into her lap with utmost care and affection stroke a little through his vibrant orange hair until her dearest Sociologist comes to himself again. Primal Espeon purrs a little at him and dares to lick over his cheek once, while Azu tries to aid with a careful Water Sport.

This is incredibly relieving for Shiva, if feels to her like she's able to breath freely again when before something has tieing up her throat. Now it should be safe to approach this palindromon without the danger of being chomped!~ Shiva repeats her question towards them about what happened to the other Pokemon of this room, waving towards the empty cages.
