Help LF Advanced Breeding Advice

This is not advance knowledge at all, even Youko's guide for beginner breeders could tell you that... AND she also explained genderless breeding. You claiming to know the basics but failing to understand those simple concepts kinda makes me think you didn't even bother reading Youko's guide...

Ah, I had not yet read Youko's Breeding guide. Thank you for bringing it to my attention. You're correct that using any already obtained 6-IV pkmn would be the most efficient method. In other words, I would have to breed several perfect pkmn through egg group breeding chains.

So far, my breeding process has started out somewhere in the middle of Youko's strategy: I've been using 4-5 IV pkmn from WT and breeding them with whatever I have available. Looks like I'll have to do some egg group chain breeding. Other than that, I may have to acquire a Duplicat with the perfect IV that my target pokemon lacks. Then, I would have to use one of the power items in order to pass on that IV until I hatch an egg that can make up for the deficient IV.

Your right on the money for the most part, but power items are not necessary, strictly speaking. They just make it easier to get specific IV's on a target pokemon. Its important to remember the everstone as well, as it passes on the nature of its wearer to the offspring.

Hope this helped~.

Ugh... I just remembered the kicker: breeding with egg moves. After getting about 4-5 eggs, all the egg moves my breeding pkmn have get overridden while in daycare. Either I have to SR if I don't get the results I want (which actually saves on box space), or I have to constantly replace my breeding pkmn with those that received the egg move.

Either level them up until they no longer forget egg moves, or bring your old mons to Venesi's move rememberer.

Monkey, I know you want everyone here to reunite in the glories Discord channel, but some people either don't have the time or desire to go their. I just like the forums more, myself personally, and I want to at least breed ten different near perfect Pokémon before I reconvene there. Call it a personal goal, if you will...

Not even gonna correct the grammar mistakes that will haunt my dreams and kill me in my sleep... Not gonna say that is a stupid goal, even though if I was being blunt, I would. And you got me wrong, I only try to get people who seems like they need help in there, for people who perfectly knows what they're doing and can do fine on forum without the use of Discord, I don't bother wasting my time. But truth to be told: There are more people not wanting to use forum than there are breeders not willing to use Discord, and I'd know since I spend time covert both type of people, just trying to reach a balance here because it'd be beneficial to everyone to have a healthier amount in both places. And don't even get me started on the Facebook group... No offense to people there, but it's a cluster**** half as bad as the old official Discord where I have to refrain myself from doing a combination of crying, yelling, and face-palming every few posts...

It doesn't take all that long to breed near perfect Pokemon. Nothing wrong with that goal.

Everyone spends their time on the things they like.

Grammar has never been my strong suit, per say, but I try to make words look right anyway~.
Sorry if I struck a nerve, though, Monkey. I was just trying to make a friendly jab, but it seems that it hit a little to close to comfort. I know my goal is a stupid one, but when I see you, Selene and a whole bunch of breeders have all the Pokémon under the sun perfectly breed with multiple parents for natures, egg moves, HP distribution, what have you, it makes my own meager attempts seem.... wanting, for a lack of a better word. I want to at least build up a small myself, to prove that I can at least stand among my betters.

Never used facebook myself, but I heard horror stories about it all the time, so I can sympathize with the stuff you see...

Derp. Totally forgot about the move rememberer. Thanks!

The layout of the forums suits my needs wonderfully. Discord involves too much scrolling and searching through unrelated content and comments in order to find responses to my questions. I appreciate the invite tho.

Question, have you actually BEEN to the Breeders' discord? Cuz it's not like Uranium Official discord where there's a lot of sh*t posting and unrelated content. Breeders' discord have a separate channel for FAQs, many of which you asked. And the questions you ask usually gets answered right away without unrelated content that require scrolling through... Honestly, don't judge before you try, that's all I'm saying
