Team for Uranium (competitive)
#11
Bloody hell, are you not lucky? Then again, your breeding Luxi....

By the way, if you are breeding any more HA Luxi, mind if you send one my way? I got 5-6 IV Eevees, a Xenogen, and a Near perfect IV Inflagetah.
Like the wind, I come and go as I please... but I am always there to provide a comforting breeze.

Sure, I'm more than happy to share once I've made more. Although I would like 5-6IV modest eevee if you wouldn't mind. Breeding for IV's is hard for me without the destiny knot.

Danka! I have a male and female with 5-6IVs, but getting the modest nature might take awhile. Still, regenerator luxi is a nice idea~

I feel like the big issue with this team is the fact that it's a bit redundant... Because of this, you are left with little answers to prominent threats like Nucleon and Inflagetah should Lanthan and Syrentide go down. In particular, I fail to see what the purpose of Garlikid is on this team. Garlikid doesn't do much for your team other than accentuate your already crippling fire weakness, and the set you are using is quite sub-optimal as well imo. I would definitely try replacing Shadow Ball with Seed Bomb, and even then, All-out Attacker sets are somewhat bleh on Garlikid to begin with. Maybe try a SubPunch or a set-up sweeping set instead. (Sorry these suggestions are somewhat vague, I'm pretty tired atm)

It's fine. After reading so many comments, I'm working on the redundancy and replacing Garlikid with probably Luxelong, and maybe Syrentide with normal Gyarados to even out the team.

"Lanthan @ leftovers" Could you explain the choice ?
'cause the first item that come in my mind when you tell me "sheer force" is life orb (all moves that activate sheer force will receive the 30% life orb without the recoil damage).

Although Lanthan can easily run an offensive set, this one is more of a defensive set. If I wanted a more offensive set, I would have changed rhe EV's and gone with an adamant nature.

My only concern with your team is that many of the Pokemon you plan on using will likely be banned to Ubers (unless that's what you're going for, an Ubers team).

If that happens then I'll readjust accordingly. Until then my plan remains- I won't base my team off of hypotheticals.

Reading this guide again, and already i shall point you out some 'problems'.
Luxelong's HA was not intended to be implemented and you just exploited a bug. Anyways, you will not get Regen Luxelong soon. Some bugged Luxis evolve and have its HA in this patch but that will be fixed next patch.

Air slash on... Yatagaryu?? That has to go. I'd strongly recommend Focus Blast or Magnet Rise or Roost. Just... No air slash. You dont get real coverage from it. Focus Blast is for the Metalynx check, but do note that a fully invested SpDef Careful Metalynx will still tank focusblast and can hit back with Earthquake.

Your gyarados set is fine. Imo dumping in similar EVs of that of a gliscor would have for this mon is a good idea. (some in HP and Speed, almost all EVs in Def and Sp Def. I can see how you will work with a gyarados with that set, great counter against the other bulky Ground check in the game like laissure, so maybe Def investment would be more beneficial.

Hard for me to type and refer back to your spread cause im on mobile, but im glad this team is doing much better than it was previously.
