[Game] Lord Windos' PokeRole Adventure: Celadon City Vandel

On route to the Quarantine Zone, Arial joins up with you Lindworm, looking rather grim, grumpy, and plenty of gallows humor hanging around him. Looks like something pissed in his cornflakes something fierce, besides being semi-forced to struggle through another Nuclear Disaster...

Eventually, all arrive at what looks to be a makeshift but well made checkpoint station, with what looks to be several large tents set up beside vacated buildings, a central route through the 'camp' , and a station in front of the whole set up. Oh, and there are PLENTY of National Guardsman and Auxillary Workers bustling around the camp, and from what you can see/feel they are all tired, miserable, mildly to severely traumatized, stressed, and very, VERY twitchy.

You all don't even get as far as the station, though, before a cordon of troops makes you abruptly halt, each and every soldier forming it holding a Sub-Machine Gun in their arms, and a Heavy Nightstick/Blackjack, Machete, Grenades of varying types, some type of Pistol, etc.. from what you see on their person. Additionally, you get a sudden 'Danger!' sense that causes you to glance upwards, and found the tell tell signs of several snipers hidden on the rooftops of the builders too.

And they were all focused squarely on your group. How's the spotlight feeling, eh? At the very least they haven't trained their guns on you....yet.

This 'standoff' last for several minutes until a more decorated officer (yet still armed to the teeth) steps out of the station and slowly marches over to address your party as whole with a gruff, monotone, and authoritative voice:

"This is a Restricted Area currently under Lockdown and Quarantine, and is barred from Civilian access and traffic until such a time that both are lifted. State your purpose here, or you will be escorted off the premises. Failure to cooperate will result in your arrest and detainment, and you all will be transported to the nearest police station for further processing."

"Yeah, my group and I are here to deal with this little issue you've got under lockdown."

Reiner brandishes Adamantine's pokeball.  No motions to throw it and release its contents yet, obviously, but such a unique looking pokeball oughta definitely leave an impression...

"With Erika's permission, of course."

"Yeah, my group and I are here to deal with this little issue you've got under lockdown."

Reiner brandishes Adamantine's pokeball.  No motions to throw it and release its contents yet, obviously, but such a unique looking pokeball oughta definitely leave an impression...

"With Erika's permission, of course."

Officer Decorated takes one quick look at the unique Pokeball, then back at you and the rest of your group, before saying "Wait here."

He then marches back to the stations, and after another 5-10 minutes he comes right back out, with what looks to be three highly stylish identification badges, and stops to address you all once more.

"You all have clearance to enter the Quarantine Zone for the next twenty four hours,  have the authorization to enter the NRF, and nowhere else. If you have not returned by then, or if you attempt to enter into an building or site within the QZ without authorization, a strike team will be dispatched to collect you, and escort you out. If any of you are found deceased at that time, your remains will be cremated, and your possession will be confiscated and run through purification before being sent to your next of kin. Any Pokémon you have will also have to run through purification after you leave, and will have to be euthanized if they exceed the safety threshold established for Radiation Contamination. Do you all understand and accept these conditions?"

Arial was quite worry about the last part with Radiation Contamination since she is a vivid Nuclear Reactor. But Arial nods his head. "Sounds fair to me I guess."

"Crystal clear.  Though if I may ask, what is the established Radiation Contamination threshold?"

"An excess of 75% Radiation Containmination."

"Take these badge, and keep them with you at all times. Present them when asked or signaled. If you have any more question, ask. If not, then proceed."

Officer Decorated hands you each a Authorization Badge, and waits for a moment for questions. When that is finished, he marches back to the station, making a sharp hand gesture at the cordon as he passes, the soldiers parting like the Red Sea to grant you access through the camp, and directly to the NRF.

"Well. This is it I guess. Deal with Nucmons. Kind remind me from the Nuclear Crisis back in my home on Tandor. Heh, since that day, we Tandorians always have with us protection against such thing." Then Arial makes a serial face. "Are you two ready? Once inside, there is no turning back until the mission is complete. Ready to go boss?"

"Ready as I'll ever be."

Once inside the quarantine zone, Reiner will release Metagross.

Mew, for convenience purposes, is already out and invisible.  And as soon as Metagross is out, gets to use Reflect Type to become a Steel/Psychic type.  Considering her current traits, this is easily a stronger option over outright Transforming.

Frosslad gets to come out too, as the longer he's out, the more powerful he'll get.

Can't be too careful when there's wild Nuclear Pokemon walking around, right?

Arial too bring two of his pokemons to along in this place. The first one was Zeus who stay gravity in the place. The another one was Melchior. "I hope you two ready guys. Lets do our best."

Then Arial give some quick orders for both Zeus and Melchior. "Lets make some preparation now before we head deep in the Nuclear Facility. We should buff our pokemons when we still have the chance. Zeus, use Magnetic Flux. That should increase the defense power of all Steel pokemon around here. You can thank me later Reiner. Melchior, time to increase the power of that sharp claws of yours. Hone Claws."

Mechanic: Double buff with Melchior and Zeus! Magnetic Flux might increase the defense power of everyone steel pokemon (aka Metagross, Mew, Melchior and any other pokemon). And increase STR and Accuracy of Melchior.

Though you can't see it, you feel the change of Typing in semi-sociopathic Mythic, followed by her confirming it.

'Successfully became a Steel/Psychic Type, Reiner. I can maintain it non-stop for about an hour, before I am force to stop for 30 minutes.'

She then goes radio silent, only the faint presence you pick up from her any indication she's actually lingering around you, and not far away from the action. Whether or not that remains true is up to the both of you....

Metagross was able to easily detect the presence of Mew too due to using RT + her energy/Type signature suddenly appearing and reading as their own, and could see all the other Pokémon out start buffing themselves too, so they decided to go ahead and try to ramp up his hardware performance to. It was only the logical thing to do when going into a DANGER ZONE!, and his User didn't order against it, so....

Lindworm releases only his Personal Dragonair for now and dons the Elite Riot Gear, soundlessly gesturing for his veteran drake to began stretching itself for the upcoming trails ahead.

With everyone's preparations complete far enough outside of the camp/checkpoint and within the QZ, you all began your march towards the NRF, guided along by the markers left by the NG...

You all eventually arrive at the entrance of the Nuclear Research Facility: A tall, TALL, and THICK gray reinforced concrete wall surrounded the entire place, with the only visible entrance being almost equally durable looking solid composite steel and lead gate, sealed tightly. The facility is completely obscured by the walls, save for a long watchtower (Think Firewatch) that is raised ominously overhead, spying on everything in the surroundings.

The blast marks, pocked metal, and large tears and gouges in it does not do it any credit, nor does it bolster's anyone's confidence.

Right beside the heavily damaged entrance, their appears to be a Keypad of some sort; must be the place to input the Security Codes.

Once you all approach the gate, though, several things happen.

Arial and Melchior are the first to react, as they sniff at the air before grimacing, the former swiftly covering his face with his attire's built in lead lined see through mask.

Lindworm jolts as an robotic announcement plays from the ERA, causing everyone to look at him: "Radiation detected. Moniteering RAD Levels initiated."

A digital UI pops up in front of your eyes, perhaps freaking you out for a moment before you realize its your Face Cameo that doing this, and its displaying similar results as the ERA: "Warning: Entering into Radioactive Area. Current Background Radiation Level: Minimum."

From this point onward, The Nuclear Research Facility Dungeon will begin, and Encounter Time will be handled differently. Their will be what I term 'Micro Cycle' , 'Macro Cycle' , Half Cycles, and Cycles. Micro Cycles only take up 30 Minutes from start to finish, Marco Cycles take 1 Hour, Half Cycles 2 Hours, and Cycles 4 Hours. 


Currently, you have 4 Encounters worth of time left in Saturday, which translates to 16 Hours of time remaining before the Day elapses, and 2 Encounters on Sunday or 8 Hours on Sunday before the National Guard are sent in to retrieve you. The Countdown will began when you enter into the NRF Grounds, and then the first Encounters/Events are presented.
