Wisely deciding not arose the attention of whatever radioactive monstrosity was lurking in the Left Hallway, the party make their way down the Right Hallway, everyone Alert for any wily Corrupted Nucmons that could have evaded detections

Reiner and his Pokémon (Remind me which ones are out again) heads jerk up as they barely hear the faint rustle of.....something above, and finds himself staring at a whole FLOCK of Nuclear Zubats Species, who'd looked poised to drop down on you before you caught them! Arial, being extremely in tune with his surroundings due to his not so insane paranioa, was able to spot ANOTHER flock , and was able to launch pre-emptive Attack against them!

Lindworm, sadly, ended up completely blindsided as a THIRD flock of NZS sprung their Ambush successfully, separating him from the rest of the party and leaving him with a - 2 DEX Penalty for being caught so flat footed!

The other two irradiated bat fiends flocks are swift to close ranks to prevent Reiner + Arial from assisting the exile, but not each other!

Initiatives:

Each Flock of Nuclear Zubat Species are composed of 1 Crobat, 2 Golbats, and 4 Zubats. Crobats, Golbats, and Zubats have different DEXs, so they will be rolled separately, but they will still be composed of three groups.

Arial when see the swarm of Nuc Bats, he remember the last time he face those things and almost die. Instead of feel fear, he feel another kind of emotion: Oil Burning HATE. He did not lost time and already Mega Evolve Melchior. "Zeus! Melchior! We will not let those things kill us again! (Using 34 XP to teach Melchior the move Iron Tail). Zeus! Summon the Electric power with Eletric Terrain (Free Action)! Then go summon the Thunderbolt 5x against these abominations! Focus your Thunderbolts against Crobat! Melchior! Use Iron Tail against Crobat (Free Action), the use Iron Head against Crobat! If he faint use against those Gobats and Zubats!"

Arial also equipped two items with him: In one hand he have the infamous Cursed Arm Tobias and in the other he have the Rusty Butcher Knife Arial have take in the hideout of Riza long ago. He knows any of those beasts would try to attack him so this time he gonna retaliate with the Butcher Knife. And of course restore himself with a potion in case he get dangerous level of low HP as much need times necessary (since I don't want to die horrible again).

He also points Tobias in the direction of Crobat and his swarm of Zubats/Gobats. "Tobias! Lend me your power once more! Mind Shot against Crobat! And keep spamning against as much you can! (Around 4 times)"

The Crobat lets out a truly agonized, soul rending screech as its already pitifully lacking brain is torn to shreds as the pure MIND BENDING PSYCHIC ENERGY lances throughout its very MIND AND SOUL!!! A wave of pure and utter DESPAIR consumes it, as in that moment they realize what a terrible, horrible monster it has become, and that it DESERVES to suffer for its atrocities! However, it can NOT abandon its swarm to the FIEND that forced that EPIPHENY on them. No, IT WILL KILL THEM, BEFORE IT KILLS THEMSELVES!

Nuclear Crobat B has become Insane! Their Insanity is Suicidal Depression/Meltdown, which reduces its Defense to 0, but raises its Strength by the amount that its Defense was decreased! Will is reduced to 0, but it can still fight despite that, driven on by pure self LOATHING and DESPAIR. All its attacks will deal Recoil to it, and all Damage it receives will be automatically Lethal! They are also Extremely Confused!

Because of this, Crobat's STR increases by 4! Its Strength score is now 9!!!


Seeing as Arial is already Insane, the Mind Shot's backlash only gives him a slight headache, before he shakes it off and regains his focus.


The Ambush Round is over within seconds, but it was enough time to give the party an edge against he super Poisonous scourges!

...Reiner stops mid sentence as he feels that spike of raw, depressingly negative and spiteful emotion...

Reiner punches the key stone in his mega ring to summon forth Mega Frosslad in an icy blue, rainbow filled light!  Now he's second in the initiative, just after NCB!

Geigeroach needs to focus on reducing as much damage as possible in a short amount of time, or everyone is in for a real bruising.  Which means Wide Guard is the initial order!  ...twice!  Geigeroach's third action is a Reflect or Light Screen, depending on if physical or special attacks seem to be a greater danger.

Reiner's second free trainer action is to prep a Super Potion for one of his pokemon should they take enough damage to warrant using one.  As for his third and fourth actions...

NCA is gonna be in for a bad time whenever Reiner's turn comes around.

Note 2: If NCA is out of the battle, Reiner will stop shooting and instead prep a Potion for himself

Overall Goal: Defeat NCB first with moves (while attacking as many targets as possible to deal additional chip damage/freeze them), then NCA (with Reiner focusing on it instead of NCB), then deal with what's leftover.  Geigeroach uses Wide Guard to reduce damage pools so the Crobat and their cronies don't absolutely muder us while we try to take them out quickly.

Is that clear?  I hope it is...and I really hope beating those Crobat first makes this a lot easier...

Being the opportunist fiends that they are, the NGBs and NZBs proceed to try and dive bomb the exposed madman with Nuclear Moves, but both Melchoir and Zeus, following their brother’s/master’s secret orders and quick learners, intercepted and fully shielded/negated all the Damage! Looks like his plan was to divert that group’s attention and neutralize them indirectly with his Pokemon, and it worked beautifully!

Obviously displeased at being seriously injured, and by a lowly human of all things, NGB 2 and the Zubats under its command (poor as it may be), they attempt to savage the fool again! Zeus and Melchoir leap to his defense, but instead of using Nuclear Energy they settled for trying to tear meaty/metally chucks out of them!

Since all available targets around him and Reiner + their Pokemon are KOed, he uses his Actions to quickly recalled MechaBolta to their Pokeball, as they were clearly unable to battle any longer.
 
It was at this moment that the leader of the Nuclear Bat Swarm/Flock C suddenly realized something: it couldn’t hear its breatheran wings flapping anymore. It twisted in mid air, and discovered to its complete surprise that all its fellow flock members were defeated. Even for a near mindless, twisted, and Corrupted being such as it, they knew on a deep and instinctive level what a BIG THREAT was, and seeing the rest of the party glaring at THEM and looked about ready to do unto it/its flock as they done to their allies…..
 
Well, it knew they all had FUCKED UP.
 
With that thought in mind, the last remaining Nuclear Crobat let out a loud screech…..before it and its whole group promptly flew as fast away from the party as they possibly could. Before anyone could react, only the party, their Pokemon, and their Fainted and Frozen foes were in that section of the hallway.
 
Corrupt Nucmon or not, a wild animal knows when to flee from ruinous situations!
 
All Pokemon that were Burned are quickly put out with coordinated effort. Dragonair suffers 1 Lethal Damage due to being unable to resist the Toxins in its body due to being Fainted. Currently has 3 Lethal Damage.
 
Lindworm is swift to remove the Toxic Orb from his Dragon, before applying an Antidote, Hyper Potion, and his last Revival Herb to Fully Restore their condition! He then give the Toxic Orb back to them, and trigger their Marvel Scale ability a few seconds later.
 
Nuclear Bat Swarm Defeated/Repelled! Reiner, Arial, and all their Pokemon gain 13 XP! Lindworm and Dragonair gain no XP, for rather obvious reasons.
 
Savaging the Fainted Bats, you only find two Uranium Slugs on the NC (in one of them, in the case of the goopy remnants of NCA), which grant + 1 Damage Dice to Nuclear Moves, and passively grants + 5% Rads to any Pokemon/person that Holds it.
 
Oh my, that was easier than expected, despite some difficulty!

After such difficult battle, Arial fall in the ground exausted. He feel tired after such dangerous battle, but even with such event he feel a little more sturdier. Fighting these battles in that place make him a little more resistance and ready to face any danger! (Raising Vitality to 4 since I get 36 HP, making Arial HP be 6/9, Melchior 8/9 and Zeus 2/9). Arial release Zeus and Alomola to see if she can heal he and Zeus. If not, some potions to heal. One in Arial, one Potion in Zeus (6/9), One Oran Berry in Melchior and 3 to Zeus (If not possible to Alomola heal everyone).

After that healing process, Arial go in the direction of where is the Uranium Slugs and pick one. He also makes some changes like giving the Quick Claw to Airmid to raise Initiative and the Razor Fang to Asura (for now).

After that he talk. "So...any clue about where is that Key Card is?"
