Nurse Joy looks pointedly at the guy with the rainbow colored sleeves that's being accompanied by the monocled Minyan.
"That goes doubly for you, mister. And I better see you wearing at least a warm jacket before you head out again."

"We just saw another of those murals at the cave in Lake Acuity." Karen responds, obviously referring to the mural the whole group has seen by now.

Slight mechanical thing that I nearly forgot: Once she gets back to the Pokemon Center, Karen finds a back room to change out of her mud-soaked clothes, and promptly gets them washed. She is now wearing sweatpants and her Marill hoodie.

Towards Nurse Joy, Unnamed Trainer unflinchingly returns that pointy glare she's giving him, his gaze like tiny daggers. "Nope. I've already planned to return to the lake right away to take a swim in these very same clothes and become the first person to have died by freezing and drowning simltaneously. (¬_¬) ...... Whatever, let me know when my Sylveon's patched up if she doesn't come running to me on her own already." (She'll do so the very moment she's doing better as she hates being away from her much beloved caretaker, prolonged seperation will cause her to become a very sad fairy.)
Towards Karen, he answers rather quickly and in a much less sarcastic tone, which underlines his mellifluous voice neatly. "...Kee." He gives her a deadpan stare then which almost too strongly tells 'You don't ask whether the Berries are named after me or whether it's the other way round, and I don't ask whether these are contacts that you're always wearing just for style.' "Ah, b'fore you ask or wonder about that, I have absolutely NO idea how I ended up in that cave. Stepped through the door of a room in the Gym of Virbank City, then everything's black, then I was there. I would have NOTICED in some way if anybody would have mixed something into my drink to KO me for whatever reason."
Towards Ran, he gives the very same glance he gave Nurse Joy a few minutes ago. Then, he speaks up to him directly in a neutral voice: "Save these words of yourself, ich wäre auch lieber verschont geblieben. Sag NOCH EINMAL das ich keinen Geschmack für Mode habe und ich hetze Draven auf dich." Minyan by his side turns his head towards Ran to face him directly, already plotting how to poison this old and little man the most sly way. "Whatever, I said it's not my fault. But, thanks for letting your Torkoal help, yeah." That last sentence is said in a soft and honest voice. If the firely turtle allows, he's scratch her head a little bit too.

It'd be, well, a good idea to not provoke him further.
"ANYWAY... *prolonged sigh* Eh, thanks for the aid. Could we now please head to the Pokemon Center? It's not much warmer around here, you see."
The first thing he'll do there is of course hand Sylveon and Chatot in to the current Nurse Joy in duty with the request to heal them up, then grab the hottest beverage they have available in this Center. Feels like heaven to sip on that, awwww!
Oh yes, here's an artwork of my chara. Feels like a good moment to share this, some info in MetaThread may follow at some later point.

On to the Pokemon Center!

She then makes this offer to Kogeki (@Spiritmon) "Say, earlier in my adventure here, I found this Hard Stone that looks really nice, and should sell for a lot more than a normal Hard Stone. Whaddya say I give you that if you let me keep the NeverMeltIce?"

Kogeki don't answer right away the mysterious person. "Glad to know you have heat temper enough to keep you warm sir. Let's go to the Pokemon center." Nami and Nagi each follow Kogeki.
Kogeki think for a few seconds about Karen offer and then accept. "Very well. I trade my NeverMeltIce by your Stone. Extra power in stone moves is always good."
Kogeki wave his hand toward Randolph. "Heya. How your Gym battle go Randolph?"

"We just saw another of those murals at the cave in Lake Acuity." Karen responds, obviously referring to the mural the whole group has seen by now.

Randolph bit off a strong swear when the wee lass mentioned that, before shaking his head irritably.
"So one of those bad art projects was in there of all places. This..... thing is getting worse and more pervasive every time its brought up. *Sighs* ....And its likely to get worse still. We'll talk more about this is private with Rowan when he comes round Alright?"

Sag NOCH EINMAL das ich keinen Geschmack für Mode habe und ich hetze Drave auf dich." Minyan by his side turns his head towards Ran to face him directly, already plotting how to poison this old and little man the most sly way. "Whatever, I said it's not my fault. But, thanks for letting your Torkoal help, yeah." That last sentence is said in a soft and honest voice. If the firely turtle allows, he's scratch her head a little bit too.
The bristly blacksmith's eyebrows shot up to his hairline when this colorful character gave the frosty Nurse some rather choice words that was drier than the arid Sandstorms along Route 228, now viewing them more critically as he mulled over their behavior with a frown. On one hand, disrespecting your Elders and someone who's job was to make sure you and your Pokemon remained alive and breathing did not leave a very flattering first impression, making them out to be a brat that not only had little sense, but little manners too - the worst combination possible, bah! On the other one, however, he couldn't help but admire the sheer gall they had to be so openly dismissing the Nurse (especially given how frosty she was) that could hold Healing from his Pokemon for ransom 'cause of his rude behavior, and the sarcasm itself was top quality with or without context. That, and he seemed to care for his Pokemon underneath his cool and dismissive exterior, which certainly counted well for him.
Overall, Ran thought the man to be a hooligan of some sort, but at least one that had some Smarts and compassion behind their outer parched sourness. If they showed their arse around him for no good reason, he'd lite into them like Brigid INFERNO into his kiln and/or furnace, but otherwise he'd treat them with rough neutrality. Which, coming from Ran and for their sort, might as well been hugs and kisses from anyone else!
He was visibly taken aback as they revealed how they came to be stuck outside in below freezing weather with their current get-up, before his expression grew ominous and serious as he panned his vision downward.
'......And now this mystery surrounding Mt. Coronet is kidnapping people half-way across globe for whatever fire foreshaken reason. *Mental Sighing* I was right: things are getting worse, like Toxic Poison festering in someone's blood. This whole mystery is sounding more and more like some plot out of one of Jim Butcher's books, and I don't like that one Forzare Flinging bit. Gottverdammt.....'
When the sour lad turned his attention over to him and offered some biting words in German, Randolph was visibly taken aback, eyes going wide in surprise as his jaw dropped a bit. His Chatot was also surprised too, letting out a squawk that ended the music it had been playing until now.
"Du sprichst Deutsch?! Durch Funken und Schmieden habe ich das nicht von dir erwartet!"
Translation: You speak German?! By spark and forge, I didn't expect that out of ya!
He then regained his wits when he realized exactly what they said to him, and he let out a small *snort* as he shook his head at them.
"Well, your tongue is at least sharp and snappy. Nichts für ungut, Kee, aber für mich siehst du aus, als würdest du versuchen, einen Dandy-Look zu kreieren, wie er von einem Hippie-Hipster entworfen wurde. Vielleicht blutet dein Sinn für Mode in Unova fantastisch, aber hier in Sinnoh siehst du aus wie ein schwuler Dummkopf, der versucht, etwas zu beweisen. Du hast die Einstellung heruntergekommen, aber das gebe ich dir."
Translation: No offense, Kee, but to me you looking like you're trying to pull of a dandy man look as designed by some hippie hipster. Maybe your sense of fashion is bleeding awesome back in Unova, but here in Sinnoh you just look like some gay fool trying to prove something. You got the attitude down pat, though, I'll give you that.
For those who understand, the dwarven craftsman was being completely forthright and blunt with his opinion of the sour dandy man before him, not being very kind but also not deliberately being mean spirited (yet).
As for the weird bat cat's scheming Randolph picks that up immediately, as dealing with Diam and Puck + being a fairly savvy guy himself has given him laser radar sense for all sorts of mischief, both harmless and malevolent. He gives them a dark look while crossing his arms, wrinkling his downturned lips at them for good measure too.
"Cat bat, I know you planning nothing good for me, so let me just tell ya this: don't. If I catch you trying to pull anything on me or my Pokemon outside of a proper Battle, I'll have my Mawile work you over like a piece of leather and make mittens out of ya - if Beethoven right here don't tell ya off for it - and then put an formal request to have your Trainer Sanctioned by the League for your idiocy. Understand?"
Yeap, Ran has zero tolerance for that sort of behavior. Apparently so does the sing canary, who favors that cat with a stern and nasty glare as he ominously started to sing, showing he meant BUSINESS himself!
Lastly, the small midget nods his head back at their gratitude for Brigid's assistance, with the heated turtle in question allowing her head to get some skirtches.

(Transition to After this Scene)
Once everything was discussed about their visit to Lake Acuity and his conversation with Kee was concluded (for better or worse), Ran let out a heavy *Sigh* before he looked at everyone.
"Well, looks like ya all had a productive time in the worst way possible. Especially you, Kee. Given how you got here to my fair region *Snorts* , you're going to be stuck here for awhile, as I don't think any boats in Snowpoint's port is making a trip to Unova anytime soon. Got two choices, far as I see: you either sit tight like a Cloyster here until you can get yourself home, or ya help the rest of us with our business, 'cause its related to how you got whisked away here, I bet. And from what I can tell, you're not the type to let anything mess with ya without giving something nasty back yourself. So, you're with us, or what?"
After he receives their answer (I'll flashback in order to properly respond to it!), he turns to the exits, waving at everyone in an offhand manner.
"Got some more business out in town I need to do, before I head over to Snowpoint Temple and start investigating that cold and ancient domain. If anyone wants to join me in going over that place with a fine comb, I'll be waiting here at the Center after I get down with my errands, since the guard upfront will let ya in if I'm escorting you. That'll be all."
Randolph then heads for the exit, before pausing for a moment and then marching back to his PC to switch out Puck and Zorn (And taking their Held Items) for the two extra Pokemon he had beyond the Crobat Kogeki gave him (And gave them the Held Items), and then leaving the Center. He's got a lot of stuff to do in a short amount of time, so no dilly dallying for him!
Order: After the above scene is over, Ran's going over to the Port to try and find stuff on his Wishlist, as well as narrow down a local to get those Neuro Sensers and maybe even a battle! Once that's done, he'll head back to the Center and await anyone desiring to explore Snowpoint Temple with him before setting out there! May seem like I'm rushing things, but that's because I don't want any of us getting bogged down waiting for each other to respond before doing our business. Flashforwarding seems to be a nice way of handling that, if we keep our chara's reactions neutral after whatever we stuff in 'the present'!

Kogeki wave his hand toward Randolph. "Heya. How your Gym battle go Randolph?"
(Indeed, that picture was excellent, dear!)
*Flashback!*
Ran gave the one armed ninja a thumbs up and a proud smile, nodding his head in satisfaction!
"Beat her, got her Badge AND access to the Temple, so I'd say I did a banging job! Wasn't aiming to fight her in the first place, but I ended up having to anyway. Managed to whoop Miss Jackie Frost good, but she put up a hell of a fight until the bitter end! I'll tell ya more about it later in detail, so long as your'e willing to swap a story with me while I'm at it."
*Flashback End?*

Flashback on!
Kogeki nod his head. "Gladly to know. We found another wall similar to the one I told you guys before. Things are getting nasty and dangerous. And the attack of those Snover seems to much organized to me. My guts tell me there is more of this behind it."
"And I gonna challenge the Gym. Gonna hello you guys in that temple business. I have a slight strategy on mind already...a weather Pokemon who might grant a advantage. Is there some info you and Karen could share with me?"
