"Hehe...I'm offering three things to you this evening, actually.  The first is the Balm Mushroom.  I'll name the price in a moment.  The second is more of them.  Given enough time, I should be able to help you with obtaining more for your use, and maybe also find you some other, less potent herbs and mushrooms to help fill the gaps in between them.  And the third..."

Pause for effect...

"...is no more intentional disruptions of the festival's activities from me.  There's still a few thorns in my side that I need to take care of, but none of them actually relate to the festival and can be taken care of quietly without disturbing the already fragile peace here, provided they don't decide to disturb the peace themselves.

"All I need in return is a few things.  The first two, you named.  Money, and a couple of pokemon.  I have no need of the fame at this point in time.  The third is some silence from you concerning this exchange and my activities.  I can detail a few of the things I've done so far if you like, but none of it is terribly interesting except for the few things that actually have almost nothing to do with the festival. One of which you might be particularly interested in hearing about, even though you might not believe it at first...oh, and if you want more Balm Mushrooms, that silence will have to be continual, obviously, though the prices of the mushrooms could potentially be lowered if this exchange proves fruitful enough."

"So, have I gotten your attention with all that?  A potential supply of Balm Mushrooms and no more intentional disruptions of the festival from me in exchange for a little assistance in filling my money and pokemon quotas and some silence.  I don't actually want to ruin the festival, and your cooperation on this matter would help with that greatly."

Erika took in your proposal with silence, taking another gulp of her tea to try and calm her fraying nerves, as you could feel the ideas blossoming in their head, your words taking root and spreading their insidious influence. Finally, she set her cut down, closed her eyes for a moment and took a deep breath through her inflamed nostrils, before letting it all out in a wave of frustration and irritation. "....You have my caught my interest, sir, and are holding it at a ransom. Fine. Name your price and the Pokémon you desire, and I will see to it that you are paid prompty. As for ignoring you discretions and slights towards me, whatever they are...tell me of them first, before I pass judgement. What you will say in this room will not leave it, and will between just us. If you have commited vile crimes, though... you best be able to follow through on your agreement, or my Gym and I will settle the matter with you personally. Do you understand?"

The aggrevated lady face then twisted into a sensual smile, and their eyes suddenly were half lidded as they gaze....longingly at you? "Of course, if you can provide me with my precious Balm Mushrooms....I will be quite pleased. So very, very, very pleased. Those mushrooms....they light a warm, pleasant fire inside of you, burning away all the worries of life, scouring the pressure that upon you, leaving nothing but pure, blessed, unadulterated...." she trails off, her hands trailing down her kimono tantalizingly, before the stopped at the sash that was holding her tasteful outfit together. "Bliss"


"I would be more than happy to share such bountiful treasures with the one who provided in the first place. That is...if you would be willing to share that Balm Mushroom of yours right now....

Well. Apparently that was one side effect of the shroom you didn't expect. Eep.

Reiner reaches into his bag and pulls the Balm Mushroom out, keeping a tight grip on it and staring right back at Erika with a completely straight face.  "I understand perfectly.  If I didn't, I wouldn't have even approached you with such a request in the first place.  So far, the crimes have mostly been nothing more than the pickpocketing of various items that could be easily replaced or had a decent monetary value.  As I said, the most interesting stuff doesn't relate to the festival much, and aren't really crimes at all.  

"That officer from day one that came up to you all frantically?  I'd be more than happy to return his Growlithe to you right now should a suitable replacement pokemon be exchanged for it.  The only other pokemon I've taken from their trainer were a Breloom and a Shiinotic, though they weren't particularly loyal to their former owner in the first place, and turned on him the moment things started going badly for them. Though I doubt the trainer remembered that little fact when he eventually reported his pokemon and items stolen considering he's a heavy drug addict.  Oh, and a Heliolisk technically, though with that one, his trainer just outright abandoned him and left him to burn to death for all he cared after he lost a battle against me.  Real shame, that one, but he'll have a better home with me than the jerk who didn't hesitate to kill one of his own pokemon when it refused to obey him any longer.

"Now let's see...as for cost...I'll do you a favor and not overcharge you too much.  Our lines of work might not mesh very well, but I do still have some respect for you and the the police, after all.  $25,000 for the mushroom is usually a pretty standard inflated price, if I remember correctly.  And as for pokemon...well, what kinds of pokemon are you able to either provide now or deliver by the end of the festival?"

Erika pouted as you bluntly ignored her subduction tactics, but her eyes were soon glued to the Balm Mushroom you pulled out of you bag. Still, you detected that she was listening to the offer you were prosposing, and when you finished up explaining your end of the deal, she took a deep breath through their inflamed nostrails, before letting out an stressful and tense sight. Tearing her sight from the rare treat in your hand, it soon meet your own as she laid out her counter offer. "So its Poke and rare Pokémon you want? Fine. Instead of the $25000 Poke you want, how does $15000 Poke sound, and two rare non-Grass type Pokémon in my possession, gifted to me by my admirers. I have no use for them, obviously, as I AM the Grass type Gym Leader of this region. Hmm....would a elusive Tarous caught from the Safari Zone and an Emprilla, a Tandorian evolution to Primeape that is not found naturally in the Tohjo area? Would that sastify you, sir?"

The once proper lady took a little longer to mull over your crimes, namely the final ownership of the Pokémon you 'gained' through dubious means, before she looked at her nails in disinterest and resumed her end of the conversation. "The Heliolisk you caught is yours, as far anyone else cares. That bastard abandon them, so you are within your right to claim them as your own. Your story also matches up with the one provided by the Pokémon Center on the incident, though I have a feeling that the later version is missing some key detail...not that it matters. Archie Sterling, the unrefined morally bankrupt ingrate that he is, is under the aegis of his family name, as they have deep pockets and a viscous Legal Defense Department that that loves to tear any cases against them apart. The Celadon City Police Department nor my Gym can do anything, but if you were so happen to run across him and decided to 'repay' him for such a 'good' battle last time...then I don't think I or the police will care. As for the Druggie's Mushroom Pokémon, if they turn on him and joined you out of fear of their safety, then its his own damn fault for not instilling proper loyalty and discipline in them, so they are yours as well. That Growlithe, though....it was that Police Officer's best friend, and he has been nothing but distraught since then. He's also turned into a Millstone for the department, and I hate seeing a lawman waste away, even if its his own fault for putting himself in that situation, so I am willing to conduct a trade for the man shake. Does a Shelldar with the Ability Skill Link and the Move Shell Smash be acceptable? I've hard they are quite the fierce fighter, so I would say that it would be equal to that firey dog of his, hmm?"

"As for the petty theft and isolated case of 'assault'....I am willing to 'forget' about such things. My Gym and the Police have enough on our hands as it is, what with a purple haired couple leaving Hotels and Parks in a bloody mess, and a 'Vampire' serial killer that has been draining young woman completely dry of their blood, so consider yourself absolved of your crimes on my side of affairs. The Police, however, are completely out of my reach, despite my sway with them, so you are on your own in that matter. However...if you were to capture these People and bring them to justice....I believe they would be more than willing to overlook your offense against the city. You scratch their back, and they scratch yours. All of the will be covered by that Balm Mushroom of yours that I want immediantly once this deal is confirmed, but if I may be so bold to ask just how you plan on acquiring more of them? They are QUITE hard to find and cultivate, so where do you plan on getting them, sir?"

"I'm a reasonable man.  That all sounds agreeable.  Plenty to fill the quotas I need to reach so I can avoid purposely causing any further trouble.  I have my own goals to achieve, so the fewer distractions, the better."

Reiner smirks.  "As far as Archie goes, trust me, he is going to get what's coming to him eventually.  His Coatlith wasn't the only living thing he killed that day, and I'm going to see to it that he gets what's coming to him even if the law can't touch him.  He's sworn revenge against me for humiliating him as a trainer, so I'm all but certain to see him again.  And regardless of who finds who, he's going to pay for what he's done.

Back to looking serious.  "As for that murderous couple...I actually might be able to tell you a little more about them.  Completely lovestruck, those two.  They have a Gardevoir and a Gallade between the two of them, and at least one Key Stone, so catching them is going to be difficult.  Anyone that threatens them or attempts to steal their Key Stone apparently ends up rather brutally murdered by their hands.  They're a little crazy, it seems, both human and pokemon.  Haven't heard anything about that 'Vampire' though.  That's a new one to me.  I'll keep an eye out though.  I'm not one to endorse wanton murder.  If I'm going to kill someone, they better have given me a blasted good reason to do so.

"And as for acquiring more Balm Mushrooms...I don't know when and where I'll find another one.  But I'll make sure there's plenty of eyes and ears out looking for them.  And noses as well, I guess.  And when I do find one, I'll be sure you're the first to know I've acquired it.  I'm not just a mere Rocket Grunt, after all, and I wouldn't promise something if I didn't believe I could eventually deliver it.  For reference, this Balm Mushroom is one of the things that I pickpocketed, and it was from the very same druggie whose pokemon turned against him.  I'm guessing he was intending to use it himself, though I think that's probably just a waste of a good Balm Mushroom.  I've got no idea where he got it from, but I could maybe...persuade him to tell me where he obtained it."

The Gym Leader only nods her head at the reveal of your Vendetta against the rich bastard, as that was entirely within her expectations. After all, he WAS the most affect by the Sterling's actions, but she has a feeling that hatred of yours far deeper than just a single battle could engender. Hmm....well, it was not her business to intrude upon your background or dig into your grudges, unless both concepts proved to directly impact Celadon City in the future. Then it was her job to step in and bring down her judgement. You feel, even through the intense cravings and lust that hazes her mind, that she doesn't expect you to fuck up in regards to this; you did corner her and force a deal out of them non-violently.

Erika did raise her eyebrow at your own Insight on what the cops codenamed : "The Bleeding Romeo and Bloody Juliet" , given that case and the 'Vampire' serial killer were being keep under heavy secrecy while investigation were ongoing (So as not to disturb the peace of the Flower Festival) , but she just shrugged it off in the end. If this Rocket found out about her love 'Herbal Remedies' , then she doesn't doubt that he has an insider or informate of some kind supplying him with intel on the city and its important people.... "Hmm, since you already are aware of Romeo and Juliet, that is what the Police call them, then perhaps you should make haste in capturing them. They already killed 5 People since Tuesday, 3 of the murders coming from a family of 4. We don't know what happened to the fourth kid, a small 4 year old girl, but its assumed that R&J took them for some unknown reason. If you are going after the Vampire Killer, then you should know 3 things: He strikes during Night and Late Night hours, a survivor that got away reported that he had two Bat-like Pokémon with him, and that almost everyone that has meet this individual has ended dead or near death due to blood loss. Aside from that information about those two killers, there is nothing really else I can provide you, and I frankly don't want to get involved in your affairs anymore than you forced me to, so that is all I can do for you, sir. "

A maniac gleam when you mentioned just WHO 'gave' you the first Balm Mushroom, and the thought of you being able to use your network to get MORE of them from your organitation sent shivers of pleasure down her spine. "If you can either 'Force' that Druggie to devluge WHERE he got this precious, precious treat OR convince you 'Boss' to start supplying me with lovely, LOVELY, Balm Mushrooms...then I would be open to future 'deals' between his Team Rocket organization. Bring me the information on Friday; I'll be waiting here. Now that everything has been settled....here is the Poke and Pokemon you desire," she says, pulling reaching into her discarded robes to retrieve the money, and then reaching into her...well, 'Great Assests' to draw out 3 Pokeballs, while you got out Growlithe's Pokeball. She then growled out her next respone with an almost bezarker rage : "NOW GIVE ME MY BALM MUSHROOM. GIVE IT NOW!"

"A deal is a deal.  And like I said, I've got some respect for ya even though we're on opposite teams.  You're not a bad person, and I've got no reason to hate you specifically.  At least for the time being. Mushroom's all yours."

Reiner lets go of the Balm Mushroom.  He didn't think he'd have to hand it to her, based on how she'd been reacting.

The moment you let go of it, *SNATCH!* , Erika's hands were around the super drug that was the Balm Mushroom, and she brought it to her face and inhaled the scent like she was starving. She started to giggle uncontrollably, completely ignored you as you picked up your Poke and pocket the Pokeballs, but you were quick to beat a hasty retreat without looking back when the normally proper lady began to moan . Nope, do NOT want to be caught up in the same room with a drugged fueled Gym Leader! The woman is known for her starling strength and grace in battle, and if she's already amped on the scent of the shroom alone ....time to get the hell out of this tea shop!

Before the next Encounter starts/this one ends, you have to decide whether or not you want Weavile and Felicia to go Pickpocketing (Auto), and if you want Angelica to help cover up the crime/bail them out if you decide to go ahead. You only ordered her to 'Act Normal', so you still have the ability to command them to do one action for you in this encounter.

Weavile seemed disappointed by you refusal of letting him conduct his favorite past time, so instead they decided to steal your wallet again without you noticing, putting his Ice Gem in its place. Has to keep his skills sharp somehow, after all.... Felicia, with free time on her hands, decided to try to seduce the black once more, stalking around him as they to get them to take in her beautiful looks...

Angelica appeared disappointed that you didn't want or have any task you needed done, and her Chansey let out a saddened cry at not being useful to their Master . However, an idea popped into their head, and they both gave you and eager smile as they explained it to you. "Sir..since..you..have..need..for..secrecy..We..will..patrol..the..area..as..we..usually..do..and..check..to..see..if..anybody..is..trying..to..track..you..down..and..attempt..to..divert..or..dissuade..their..investigations. I'll..get..started..right..away..since..I..need..to..resume..my..duties. Our..lunch..is..over..so..we..need..to..resume..our..regular..activity..as..you..ordered..earlier."

You were walking down street, the sun beginning to began its descent into total darkness as you were deciding what you were going to do now, as you have officially completed 3/5 of the goals your Boss set out for you, and had already laid the groundwork for Mission #5 to be completed in a matter of days. Besides having to deal with a vindictive cousin and the Elders back in your home town, everything was going rather swimmingly. Today was truelly a glorous day, even if all the events were....strange, one way or another.

"Reiner Arendse."

Until you heard your full name being called out. Turning towards the direction where the voice (Which sounds like Russian Johto), you spot a Tall, tall elderly man wearing a navy blue trench coat and a matching billy hat. His wizened face was smiling at you as the giant of the man was hold a crane in his hand, perfectly proportioned to him, as they were standing in the shadows of a nearby building. The streets were devoid of activity, as most congregated to the square at this point of night.

"Former citizen of Blackthorn City until you were cast out for defying the Elders, lived a life of poverty and thievery for 2 years before Giovanni organization picked and dusted you up. Rose through the ranks until you were eligible to become an Executive, and were given several tasks relating to the Flower Festival, the most important of which was capturing and depowering Mew. Did I get all that right? My memory, you see, is not the best these days, but I am usually sharp on matters like these."
