[Game Thread] Pokerole: Mount Coronet Mystery

Is there any particular place you're looking in that sounds like it might have something like that, or are you just meandering around the city until you notice something?

Let's start at the Port, as if there's anyplace in Snowpoint that's likely to have the advanced and strange tech necessary to create a proper robot limb, then its likely the city's mecca of trade/idea exchange both domestic and international! At the very least, Ran is likely to find someone that could help narrow down their search or offer some helpful tips!

"Yeah. Mera its a awesome person. He didnt exatcly cut all the wood from his Cocancer. Just enough to make arm. And his Cocancer re-grown its part. Still, when I heard I feel bad for him. I cherished this arm quite a lot, and I hope I be able to repay him somehow."

With Rand propose Kogeki nod his head. "You are the master blacksmith here. I trust in your judgment. If you feel necessary to sell Crobat, I will understand. I up to this plan."

Kogeki nod in proud and happiness for finally having ways to be in good terms with the blacksmith. "Thank you Mr. Randolph. Yeah, we Tsukinami Ninjas in times of war we were capable of adapt the tools we have one hand to make weapons, using parts of other Pokemon to do that. War do that to someone. If you have any curiosity I can gladly share my knowledge with you my friend. This is the least I owe you for the favor you doing. We Ninja never forget a debit we have."

"Thats a excelent choice. I dont think I not still gonna challenge the Gym yet. Problably going to Lake Acuity. I heard the Legendary of Knowledge once lived there and I really curios to see what kinda of thing I might find there."

With the witness of such beauty, Kogeki thinks it is beautiful.

And yes, he let Nurse check his arm to see the nervous and all things Randolph mentioned. If there is a chance of finding the parts to upgrade its arm he would take the chances. This even could be a excelent chance to have positive friendship with the blacksmith.

Action: Go with Randolph to encounter 1 to find shops! Since Kogeki is a Ninja maybe he can spot something?
Kogeki currently ability to active in battles: Anticipation.

*Flashback?*

"Ah, I getcha. *Shrugs* Still is a pretty big deal for the both of ya, so it's not like trimming off parts of his Cocancer to fashion your new arm was nothing from what I can tell. Grass Pokemon don't let anyone harvest any part of them unless they trust and like a person like family or owe them something fierce, though I could be wrong about that. Metal, smiting, and rocks are my specialties, not botany and absolutely not Pokemon research."

(...)

Rand just rolls his eyes at being called a master blacksmith, but the cyborg ninja would notice him puffing up a bit in pride/pleasure at the praise none the less!

(...)

"*Waves them off* Bah, it's not a problem. If anything, tunning up your arm is a nice distraction from what we're going to be doing shortly, and I can't and won't leave ya at like this if there is something I can do about it. *Nods, with a VERY slight smile* I'd like that, yes. Thank ya kindly, Kogeki. And call me Ran, and not Randy, or I'll get out my poker and shove it where no Sunny Day will ever shine!"

(...)

"*Nods* Glad ya think so. Heck, that plan of yours even gives me an idea: you go investigate the Lake later, and I'll do some snooping around Snowpoint. See what clues or hints we can scrounge up while covering twice the ground. Heard about The Snowpoint Temple here, and I'm thinking it may have some more info about what the hell is going on with Mt. Coronet, or even one of those blasted murals in its depths somewhere. Need to either be the champ or have Miss Jackie Frost's permission to enter that ancient crypt, though, so it that gives me all the more reason to pay her winter wonderland of Gym a visit. Meanwhile, you can snoop around Lake Acuity, and see if their's anything funny with or around it. Sound smokey to you, Kogeki?"

*Flashback End?*

Additional Orders/Suggestion: Have Randolph challenge the Gym/inquire with Candance after helping Kogeki out, and suggest they go out and search Lake Acuity himself! Karen.....well, he'll let her decide what she wants to do and leave her alone, since she hasn't been the most talkative in awhile. How's that, @Spiritmon ?

"Understood Mr Ran."

"I think it's a excellent plan. Perhaps the three of us should exchange numbers just in case we need to enter in contact with each other when we begin to do our things around our goals."

With that of each other set, the party reunion finally ended, and Ran, Kogeki and maybe Karen go all to the shopping area, trying to materials to Kogeki arm.

Action: Shopping time!
Kogeki currently ability to active in battles: Anticipation.

"Ugh, I said to call me......*sighs* whatever."

Randolph has no objection to Kogeki's proposal, so he quickly rattles his off for them, brings out his phone/Dex to record his number as well as Karen's (If she offers it to him), before he embarks on a search and shopping trip for the tech necessary to mechanize the cyborg ninja's prosthetic!

Karen heads into the Gym, and states, "Where's the leader? I wish to challenge them."

Randolph and Kogeki head to the port to look for parts and information that might be useful for upgrading the Tsukinami Lightwood arm.

Randolph's Alert: 3 Ins + 2 Survival + 2 Alert
(3)(4)(4)(2)(3)(4)(5) 4 Succeses.  Pretty good.

Kogeki's Alert: 2 Ins + 3 Survival + 3 Alert
(5)(2)(5)(2)(6)(1)(2)(2) 3 Successes.  Fairly decent.

Randolph sees them first, but because both Kogeki and Randolph both passed with 3+ successes, I'll throw in a bonus foreign NPC that they'll have the option of talking to.  Interacting with them specifically will not take an encounter.

Feel free to both talk to the bonus NPC (both characters may do so) and interact with one of the random trainers underneath your character's name.  Trainers at the port are amiable to both battles and trades.

Karen goes straight for the gym!

Music: Gym - Pokemon D/P/Pt

The interior is basically a huge skating rink! Snowballs and patches of snow are scattered around it. The snowballs are being used like training dummies, and the gym trainers appear to be using the patches of snow as a way to train their Ice types on different kinds of terrain.

Karen's greeted by the gym guide as she enters the building.

"Well, look who's here!  Wasn't expecting you to be challenging THIS gym so soon.  So, you think you're ready to face Snowpoint's Ice type trainers?  Fair Warning: they're a far cry from the Water and Fighting types you've already encountered.  They've been toughened by the cold they live and train in every day, and they won't hesitate to Freeze your pokemon on the spot."

Before we continue, I also need to know which 6 pokemon are in your party.

Oh yeah, that reminds me: I need everyone to set their pokemon's abilities for the day.  If you want to change what they are, do so now before I start rolling out the encounters further.
