Bar Divine Intervention (AKA: Iron telling us to knock it off), Ventus WILL help Nathan out catching Absol, whether he likes it or not (It should be apparent which one it will be in this case...). Nothing and no-one in game, except for an event that seriously injures him and/or his Pokémon, will stop him from being backup for them. Just the way it is, honestly.

Plus, Ven's in full disguise now, so good luck trying to find him!

Ven just has to come if she starts yelling after him on the camp, never underestimate a enraged young woman with Fairies! At least I hope so.

My character will more or less accept that reaction, and STILL help Nathan out against their will on this matter. If they continue ignoring them, Ven's just going to start working around and through him, if not outright force them to stop acting like such a ninny. He's not one to be put down so easily by others, especially with that Iron Hard control over his emotions.


Ven's going to book it if Shiva comes screaming at him, as he does NOT want to deal with a double dose of angry this early in the morning! He'll find a alleyway to hide in, put his Full Disguise on, before making his way to the Challenge Post. Being the paranoid worrywart protector of the group is a stressful job as time for him, and so he needs some R&R away from the others.

That would work, actually, so go for it! Ventus doesn't respond well to anger, irritation, or frustration, but he going to be QUITE attentive when a friend is despairing, for whatever reason (Especially when its his own fault...)!

We'll go that path then. ^^ To an outsider there in the camp, it'll probably look and sound like he broke up with her while she still loves him and doesn't understand why it's ending, lol.

My favorite is when Ventus resorts to violence against the very person he's trying to help lol. Not the first time that's happened.

When Absol appears I will make the decision about whether Ventus is around to help. Depending on everyone's actions, XP bidding may occur - Kory and Nathan are already two trainers, which is the normal limit against a wild Pokemon encounter. Or the Running may have other ideas!

I'm still curious whether we make it through the campaign with or without seeing a XP-bidding-war.
