There it was again, though...the voice of that strange man...taunting him this time, from the sound of things.

Well, he wasn't going to let anything ruin this meeting, this chance he'd never thought he'd have.

Not Clair coming tomorrow to demolish him and haul him back to Blackthorn, not Cursed Arms being leveled against him, not a vigilante hunting him down, not Team Rocket burdening him with tasks to complete (even though he'd blown through most of them pretty quickly)...not even somehow swapping bodies with Mew.

He WILL survive this week, one way or another.  And so will everyone else.

(Perhaps. But Arial never could feel the warm love of a mother, or the lessons of father, because his own family abandoned him inside a trash when he was just a baby. Imagine to know your own family, the ones you love, and be love back, abandoned you like a unpleasant thing? His hate against humanity is not just loose screws, but because like you, he was cursed by life. The only difference, it is you have a family, a good life. Arial existence was cursed since the day he born. I not asking for you be friends with him, but at least understand why he hate everything. And why he have a more close connection with Pokemon than humans. You are both the two sides of the coin.)

'Hmph.  That's very different.  Sure, he never really knew them, but at least he knows where he stands with them.  My parents watched in silence the day I was banished from Blackthorn.  It's another thing entirely when those you actually know no longer support you, ya know.'

...practicing the movements for Z-dances (still stuck hovering in the same place, of course, and with an informational video pulled up for reference).  All of them, as he has time to kill, but he's focusing on the Dark one in particular.

Seems he's thinking about picking up some of Petrel's Z-crystals after all now that he's had some time to think about it a little more...

'Ya know, you don't have to narrate every single little detail.'

(Well, someone has to.  I happen to be the one tasked with observing you, and I have to report to Windos about what you're up to.  Otherwise, he wouldn't know how and when he should progress things since your choices matter a great deal.)

'Why the interest, anyways? What's so special about me to warrant constant attention from beings such as yourselves?'

(What makes you special enough to have befriended Mew after your first meeting? To have the power to change the course of fate with your choices? I don't think there's any single, satisfactory answer I could provide.)

(If I could provide you with an answer right now, I would.  There are many things I cannot tell you right now, Child of Dragons.)

(Reiner, I know that our mere existence grates on your sensibilities, but I rather prefer we maintain at least a certain level of respect and cooperation with one another. As said before, we honestly want help you on your quest, whatever it may be at a given time, but some of my peer's efforts towards that goal might diminish somewhat to continually prickly responses.)

(Though, that does not mean I encourage the idea of harashing you with our attempts of humor or our long windedness and/or nagging, so would you mind giving 'her' some time to themselves Spiritmon? Jokes are all well and good, but when they are almost entirely lost on the audience and only illict irritation, perhaps one should reign it in and try other methods of socialization...)

As a peace gift. *A plate of sandwich appear to Reiner* I know you don't need to eat or drink anything because of the time freezing thing, but even someone can miss eat something. Welp, going to seen how Heart is hanging. See ya!)
