How long was I in there?  Way, way too long.  I honestly lost track of the time.  It's kinda impossible to tell how much time has passed in the outside world while in the Sinjoh Ruins.  Heh, this certainly brings back memories...when was the last time I was here again...?

It doesn't take long for Mesprit to shake their head in response to the second question.

I'm sorry, but I'm gonna have to decline.  My brothers and I have work to do.  Ya know, creating Emotions, being carefree and unrestrained, creating Red Chains...we have sooooo much we need to do after being cooped up in those stupid orbs for so long.  And besides, we only just met!

Mesprit's initial answer prompts Ran to issue his own set of question from the wall he was currently leaning against, looking remarkably carefree and easy going - perhaps the emotional pixie's influence or presence is responsible for this?

"If ya don't mind me asking, how did you and your siblings managed to get crammed in those orbs? Not to mention what did it the cramming too. Don't know much hard facts about ya Trio, but I'm fairly certain that catching and stuffing y'all like a pillow is borderline impossible without some serious firepower or blighted shenanigans."

Their refusal to join Karen gets them a few more question, too.

"Well, if ya can't or don't want to join that lass, would you or ya siblings care to help her out instead? Or all of us, for that matter? Reason we're all here in the first place is 'cause we're on the hunt to find and unfuck some ultra supernatural Tarous shit mystery force that's causing the worst and weirdest things to happen here and the whole world over, and I have a feeling whatever is stirring up so much god awful trouble is responsible for trapping all ya here. So, a little cooperation or a boon of some sort for her or us would be most helpful and appreciated, Mespirt, Azelf, and....Uxie? *Looks confused* Uh....where are they? "

Contrary to popular belief, Kogeki, we are not gods.  We are merely exceptional individuals created by Arceus.

I would have thought that stating your name and clan despite having never met you in person previously would have been enough proof of my identity, but it appears I was mistaken.  I know many things about your past and the history of those around you, though.  Shimo, Renji, Susano'o, Gama-no-senin, Hime-no-hachi...everything that is and was falls under my purview.

Infuriatingly, however, I do not know who or what imprisoned my siblings and myself in this place.  Whoever or whatever they are, though, they're powerful enough to both overpower all three Lake Guardians simultaneously and bypass the Mystri Stage's defenses entirely.

Kogeki say nothing when the Legendary said those words...even more when the others free the others Pokemon. Kogeki approach the orb. "I hope I not regret this decision. Before I free you however, I have questions who you guys can answer."

The Legendary Uxie floats in place, yawns, then puts their arms behind their back as they eye everyone in the room carefully, until their gaze settles on Randolph.

I am here, Randolph Schmidt.  We will endeavour to answer your questions in due time.  But first, can you please show me the flute you picked up?

And when the blue light fades, Azelf is floating where the orb was, arms crossed and breathing a sigh of relief.  Again, everyone can hear their voice now.

He picks her up, holds her close as she discreetly puts all the occupied Pokeballs she took care of back into his bag.

Towards he now freed Azelf both can just smile, especially upon the assurance that the whole trio is reunited and (appearantly) unharmed. Though their question for the name of their...let's call it 'liberator' receives a carefully defensive response. "N-names aren't important, Azelf. Just...keep me in mind as that guy with the vibrant clothing style and a blue Sylveon." If Azelf insists however, they'll get his name without any 'I dare you to ask the obvious'-glances.

"You...you're welcome, I guess. Now what though, what will you three do now? I guess if you continue where you stopped before your were trapped, nothing can guarantee that you won't be trapped rather soon again. Can't WE do anything to prevent such misery? Some Unown told us to go and 'Find the Stage', which we now did, guess they were calling for us to free y'all. Or, for anyone, and we just happened to receive that call."

Uxie answers the next question.

Yes, there is no guarantee that our captor won't try to imprison us again.  The mystery, though, is that we weren't really doing anything in particular when we were attacked.  That's why I wish to examine the flute that Randolph collected more carefully, to see if my suspicions are correct.

Since you didn't end up writing a post to mine original one after it got ate by the server migration, I'll make an abridged version of it now, with one addition to it:

- Ran's relieved to see Uxie freed/present in Mystri Stage, thinking for a moment something else happened to them.
- He agree to be patient for his answers and walks over to present the Weird Flute in a fairly casual manner.
- Third and the new addition, when he's up close to them he politely whispers a couple of requests from it: if they could teach him the secret techniques and the composition to make to forge a Lost Metal (Like Damascus Steel, Adamantium, Mythril, etc..) and if they could point him in the direction of more good romance/fantasy novels that had a Legend/Mythical Pokemon as a key character(s) in it. Doesn't hurt to ask the Being of Knowledge for some info, right?

When Uxie get free and join with his brothers, he let them have a family reunion and then he approach them. "Good to know you all together. A family apart its indeed sad. But we all question who need to be answers. There is strange things happening in Mt. Coronet and all Sinnoh as a whole. Tsukinami too. Here my questions:"

1 - What is the dark entity who is lurking in Mt. Coronet? Its the same being who imprison you?
2 - There is strange events in Coronet, with trainer having more time to travel in that place, and rooms change, almost like Palkia and Dialga playing mazes.
3 - Pokemon becoming more agressive than normal in that place, including a blue Steelix (or Onix, correct me if I wrong) and a Primal Rampardos, who force me to beat him.

Kogeki than make a serious face. ''Now...I the most important question. The incident of years ago...the same incident who took my arm and face...and took Shimo life...was really a accident? Or was premited my someone? And if yes, who did this? You said you knew about Shimo, Renji, Gama, Susano'o and Hime. So something like that you should know Uxie. You owe me that."

Kogeki was bold with that last question, almost like his own life, his own existance, would depend in the answer of that question. That faithful day who completely ruin his life...he always blame himself for what happened. And almost kill himself in self dishonor, but instead put himself in self-exile from Tsukinami. Both in shame, depression and a path of redemption.

But now...he have the golden opportunity in have found Uxie, a creature old as Arceus itself. At least something he could know about this mystery.
He has another question though, along with that one...one he found with his recent visit to Tsukinami, when he go there to find the mystery of the Walls who is plaguing Sinnoh.

"Uxie. Mesprit. Azelf. What you three know about the being know as 'Kitsunoh'?"

Anything in a spoiler is heard by Kogeki alone, as I assume those topics were asked about privately.

As I stated previously, I do not know who or what captured us, nor what is causing all of these strange occurrences, much to my infuriation. But I have my suspicions concerning what they might be aiming to achieve, which I will get to in a moment, after I have properly examined the flute.

Incident

Just as infuriatingly, I have no record in my memory of what exactly happened in the Ocean Caverns on that day to cause that accident. However, I also have no record of anyone's death during that event, either. I can assure you the events there were not your fault, whatever the cause may have been. I may not be as Empathetic as my sister, but I hope you can find comfort in the facts I can present you with.

That being said, given recent events, I would not be surprised if that incident was connected to the current goings on in some way. There are too many holes in my records of the present and past for it to be a coincidence. Solving this issue at Mt. Coronet may bring you closer to resolving your own personal conflicts.

Mesprit's hovering closer to Kogeki at this point, a pained and sad expression on their face as they look at Kogeki compassionately.

Kitsunoh

A Kitsunoh is a quadrupedal pokemon with traits of both wolf and fox pokemon. They conceal their true faces with a white mask that they never remove. They are creatures of the night, and stalk their prey from the shadows until the moment they pounce on them. Few pokemon are as skilled at ambushes and remaining hidden as a Kitsunoh, for they are almost one with the shadows themselves. Unfortunately, they were hunted to extinction by humans hundreds of years ago. Their pelts were prized as a basis for decorative purposes and clothing, and their masks were highly valued as trophies. Where did you learn of this species? There are almost no records of it remaining in modern times.

My apologies, Randolph, but I'm afraid that even if I were to provide you with the knowledge of how to create such metals, it would do you little good. Humans have long lacked the techniques and tools to forge such magical alloys. However, should you ever meet one of the three Brothers of Metal, you may be able to rediscover those lost techniques, some utilized by Creshirean Kings of Old.

Books, however, I can gladly give you information on. I would suggest reading Where Lightning Strikes by Indy Jonas. You may find the contents interesting. You can find a copy of it at the small library in Snowpoint City.

Ancient Legends: Lake Cavern (remastered by Zame) - Pokemon D/P/Pt

It may be a liberal interpretation in these modern times, Randolph, but that is what all flutes made by the ancient Sinnoh natives used to look like a long, long time ago, believe it or not.

Uxie takes the flute and examines it veeeerrrry carefully, turning it around and around in their hands, checking every single inch of it.

Hmmmm...it is as I feared...I couldn't tell for sure while I was trapped, but this is definitely the Azure Flute. We weren't the only things our captor wanted to make sure remained sealed away, apparently...

Uxie then hands the flute back to Randolph.

Keep it safe. That flute is an incredibly valuable and powerful relic.

Mesprit then interrupts the conversation, and the Lake Trio begin discussing the recent events.

What's that old thing doing here, though? Don't tell me...

Yes, I suspect our captor does not want Arceus to intervene.

Someone with plans so grand that Arceus might need to intervene? Are you sure about that, Uxie?

You noticed that Dialga's symbol on the Mystri Stage has dimmed recently, yes? Something must have happened at Spear Pillar. Our captor must have wanted to keep us from interfering with their plans as well.

So we actually do have to make a Red Chain? Really? I was just joking when I was saying that previously!

I suspect as much, yes. Weakened as we are from being trapped here for 6 months, 2 weeks, 3 days, 5 hours, 54 minutes, and 43 seconds, though, I am not sure how effective it might be...

Well, we have to do SOMETHING. Even if it isn't fully powered, a Red Chain should have some kind of effect, right?

Yes, but only if the creature it is trying to contain is also weakened sufficiently for the Red Chain to bind them. The problem would be weakening them, as I don't think we're powerful enough in our current state to fight a member of the Creation Trio...

What about these trainers who rescued us, though? They seem like they're rather special and skilled!

Well, they did manage to get past the Abomasnow that were apparently guarding this place's entrance. Maybe they could handle it?

Perhaps. But it would certainly be unlike anything they've faced before...

With the Red Chain, though, they could totally do it! Right?

It would definitely solve the issue of being unable to fight Dialga ourselves.

Yes, but that is assuming they could fight them on even footing...as they are now, Dialga would likely still vastly overpower them if it does indeed come to a fight...

The tapping of a cane can be heard, interrupting the conversation. "Pardon me for interrupting, but I and another visitor would very much like to know what is going on here as well."

Everyone turns to see that Gene is now standing in the doorway, and standing next to him is...

The Lake Trio all immediately fly over to the Sinnoh Champ and circle around him excitedly, their conversation now interrupted. Lucas can't help but smile as he takes a head count of everyone in the room.

"Haha! Good to see you guys too! And you guys as well! Randolph, Karen, and Kogeki, right? And who's that you've brought with you?"

"I say, this is certainly a surprise! The Lake Trio, a face they're familiar with, and a ragtag group of heroes have all gathered at the Mystri Stage! Ohhohoho, my, what an interesting day this is turning out to be..."
