[Game Thread] Pokerole: Mount Coronet Mystery
Towards he now freed Azelf both can just smile, especially upon the
assurance that the whole trio is reunited and (appearantly) unharmed.
Though their question for the name of their...let's call it 'liberator'
receives a carefully defensive response. "N-names aren't important, Azelf. Just...keep me in mind as that guy with the vibrant clothing style and a blue Sylveon." If Azelf insists however, they'll get his name without any 'I dare you to ask the obvious'-glances.
*****
"On the contrary, I think names are very important. I'm not my brother, though, so I don't automatically know everybody's names. So please tell me, what's yours Kee? Well, it's nice to meet you, Kee!"

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

That....actually hits a mindfully hidden sensitive nerve and awakes a faint awkward blush, as it's HIGHLY rare for someone to adress him that casually, not even speaking about being happy to meet him. Congratulations; Azelf, you managed to throw him off-guard for a moment when he's actually a rock-solid person that rarely to never is innocent about how to react.
"Well... Yes, I guess it's.... nice to meet ya too? Not many people ever meet a Legend, so don't mind any...flaws I may accidently reveal. Now then:" He perks up, but at the same time has to hold his head. "Say, Azelf, can you, possibly, give me ANY proof that all of this is happening for real? It's all feeling so surreal, like this is not actually happening, like all of that is just a delirium or a comatose dream. Too much has happened in the past 24 hours, it makes me wonder what's wrong, did I die? I lack memory, a good portion of memory, one moment there was the soundboard room, then there's just blackness, then the interior of an icy cave in a region I've never set a step into. Maybe.... Maybe I just need some rest."

Mercury, his vivid clock of a Chatot, would be proud and jealous over Uxie's exact time keeping.

Kee unfortunately has ABSOLUTELY NO IDEA who that guy is that arrived with Gene, because how is one suppossed to recognize the Champion when you yourself aren't interested in taking on Gyms to battle the League, don't follow broadcasts of League and Champion Matches, and it's on top of everything the Champ from a region you never lived at, not even speaking about visited? Though, he's clever enough to get that the newcomer's important if the Lake Guardians are excited to see him."Bold of you to assume that we are a group of...heros. I'm none, I just got caught in the events, got involved in some way and now I'm here... Does one have to know you? Forgive me if I don't, so care to update me possibly?" He moves his gaze to the others "Anyone?"

To be clear, yellow text is Uxie, magenta text is Mesprit, blue text is Azelf, red text is Lucas, and black text is Gene.

Azelf ponders Kee's question for a moment, then shrugs. Uxie would be a better pokemon to ask concerning proof of reality. I'm more of an action kind of guy. I could hit you with a Psychic attack to prove you're not dead, though I don't imagine you'd find that very comfortable.

Lucas simply chuckles at the colorful trainer's cluelessnes. "Eh, don't worry about it if you don't know who I am. The name's Lucas. Nice to meetcha. I'd offer you a handshake, but I kinda have my hands full with the Lake Trio, as you can see."

Quote Dragon:
Alright, since it appears to me the messaging board is still on the bend in terms of messaging, I'll keep my post brief and concise as I can manage:

To Uxie in Priviate:
- Ran would tsk at the semi-non answer they gave him about the Lost Metals in private, but would accept it graciously in the end. That would lead to the following question of where a/the Heatran was hiding away, as he's been looking for one of the molten buggers for AGES.
- He'd be much more pleased by their second answer, and happily give his thanks to them.
- Third and finally, his expression would darken as he a personal thought arose, which would prompt him to calmly and carefully ask if they know where a particular Pokemon is at. You know the one I'm talking about, Dragonstrike.

To the Spiritual Trio Prior to Lucas' Arrival:
- Ran would simply accept Uxie's info on the Azure Flute with nonchalance (They would know it/almost everything better than him) , and solemnly nods back to them as they request he keeps it safe, saying more or less that 'I'll guard it with me life, and my afterlife to if that's what it'll take to keep it safe!'
-Overall, he'd express remarkably subdued disbelief at the Trio's conversation, before dragging both his hands down across his face and heaving a HUGE sigh as he realizes that he and his group really was going to tackle a Legendary problem/mystery. Just his luck: gleefully tormenting and thoroughly absurb. Still, he WOULD still commit to the job he signed up for, partially out of professional obligation, partially because he felt that he had to do it or everything's fucked, and partially because the Spiritual Trio and what most likely was Arceas themselves were putting him up to the task, and you can't really say no to them for a variety of reasons. Ran doesn't consider himself a hero, and would much rather stick to more mundane jobs and travels, but if he had to rise up and go beyond his known limits to solve this Mystery and save the region, then he would.
- Finally, he'd ask again about the Red Chain (How is up to you), and then inquire if their's anything they could do to restore some of their lost Strength and power to them before they made it?

To Lucas:
- Ran would be fairly surprised to see them of all places here, and question why to himself before realizing that he was probably here for similar reasons as he and his partners were: investigate Sinjoh Ruins, and see what can be done to fix it/restore the status quo. Then he'd let out a low chuckle at the sheer coincidence of it all (or not; hard to tell what forces are at play this point, in his opinion), and approach them amiably like an old friend.
- Greeting to Lucs: "Neither did I, lad, but this is the sort of happenstance I can get behind! Hah hah, yeah, it sure been an age, and I'm glad to be seeing ya now! How's the trail blazing going, and what precisely are ya doing here? Have a good idea myself, but why rely on me hairbrain hypothesis when I can get that answers straight from source!"
- He's confirm to them he was Ran, and simply explain that Kee was a Unovian musician that somehow got Teleported to Acuity Cave and was now helping them out with their own investigations about they ongoing mystery.
- 'Gene's' commentary would get a heavy sigh from Ran, follow by the simple but pithy comment of "Too much of the wrong kind of interesting, if ya ask me. If I'd known that investigating Snowpoint Temple would lead me all the way here, I'd.....well, I don't know what I'd do, but it probably would be unpleasant, and involve plenty o' swearing. Bah...'
- If no one else does/did this, Ran would give Lucas an abridged version of events that'd recount how and why the group got here, including the battle with the Abomasnow and what the Spiritual Trio told him (if they permit). Simple as that!

Done! Now's time to see how the Legends react!

To Azelf and their spirited suggestion: "You're right, a full-fledged Psychic Attack from you will more likely send me to afterlife if this isn't it already than proof that this is not just imagination. Well then..." He turns around, looks for the yellow-colored Lake Guardian as that request for a successful reality check goes to them then. "Preferably something that won't hurt me or my Pokemon please."

Kee'll discreetly correct Ran concerning one point, a point that may be secondary but matters much to him. "Alolan. Not Unovian, even if that's where I live now. Or, used to live b'fore being transported here to the icy North of Sinnoh by forces and for reasons unknown by me. ( ̄~ ̄; )" Lucas gets his name, as well as the obligatory sharp and daring 'Save any funny comments for yourself if you know what's good for ya', and instead of a handshake Octavia takes the liberty to pat his (Lucas') shoulder with a sparkling ribbon of hers, that's her way to greet him as a replacement for that gesture. "If you say so, very well then. The Lake Trio's kinda fond of you, am I in the means to ask why that's so? Just wondering, ya know, no mean thoughts or ulterior motives."

Proof that you're alive and aren't dead or dreaming? Hmmm...oh, I know just how to do that.

Uxie raises a hand to their mouth as they let out a biiiiiig, infectious yawn...

Yawn
*rolls*
Kee also yawns, suddenly feeling drowsy!

And then moments later...

Zzzzzzzz....

Octavia wanders over to Kee and pokes him with her ribbons, looking at the yellow pixie pokemon with an unimpressed look in her eyes. Was that really necessary?

Yes, that was entirely necessary. Now, unless you wish to wait five minutes for him to wake up, if you could please use Heal Bell...

Octavia rolls her eyes, but does as Uxie asks.

Heal Bell
(4)(1)(1)(3)(2)(1)(1)(6)(2)(4)(2)(4)(4)
The bell chimes, and Kee suddenly finds himself waking up. On the floor. Still in the Sinjoh Ruins.

Uxie seems to be entirely unapologetic about what they just did, too.

That should be proof enough that you aren't sleeping. As for whether you're dead...well, I think your Oricorio would be acting a lot differently if you were, wouldn't you say?

Well, that was a rather blunt approach from Uxie. Effective though, maybe?

-----------------------------------------------------

Lucas shrugs when Kee asks why the Lake Trio are so fond of him. "Did them and Sinnoh a great service a couple years back, I guess you could say. It wasn't anything much, though, honestly."

Mesprit sighs, as if used to hearing Lucas say such things.

Nothing much? Lucas, you're FAR too modest. You only went and saved the whole universe from being destroyed! There's no way we could ever forget that! Or repay it for that matter!

Lucas just shrugs again. "I just did what I thought was right. Nothing more, nothing less. Anyone could have done it."

Mesprit rolls their eyes, arms crossed. Yeah, yeah, whatever. Look, we all know that defeating a Legendary is no small feat, no matter what the context is. Sure, ya had a little help from us, but we wouldn't have given you that power if we didn't trust you, ya know? So go on, brag a little! Nothing wrong with doing so from time to time in my opinion!~

Lucas just laughs in response. "Never change Mesprit, never change." And that causes Mesprit to laugh as well. It definitely seems like they're good friends.

Kogeki face was hide in his scarf, but his eyes show pain. He feel frustrated for not even the being of knowledge give a decent answer. He unshret his sword, but when everyone though Kogeki would attack the Legendary creature of knowledge, Kogeki simple put both of his hands together in the sword, and hit the most close pile of stone beside him, and those rocks make a sound *THUMP!* while hitting the ground, problably making everyone looking in the direction. He put the sword back in to its place, while he look to Uxie. "Great creature of knowledge you are Uxie. I very much disapointed to be honest coming from the said "Entity of Knowledge". And they said you are more old than time itself. You look more a senile Pokemon than a wise being Uxie."

Kogeki than sigh. "At least...I this bring some hope at least. If Shimo is not dead...than there is hope at least. I was expecting better information from the one of the most wisest pokemon of existance who give humanity knowledge, but I guess is better than nothing."

Towards the question of Uxie Kogeki sigh again. "All you said is already old news to me. Senile again I guess. For someone who suppose to be the being of knowledge, you look outdated of information Senuxie. Anyway, back in the Ocean Caverns in Tsukinami, in the Walls who appear there, I had a strange vision. A Storm Ocean, with the Deep Trio looks like in battle against each other. And a Yatagaryu and A Kitsunoh in that vision. I dont know if there is a vision from the past, present or even future. All I know is even the Leaders of Tsukinami is concern about that vision, and they shared some info about such being. I was hoping you could share some really useful information, but then again I disapointed."

"I hope you can answear me my next question: Is Kaito and Hinata really mortal incarnations of Aotios and Mutios, or its just old legend? Or even that information escape your infinity knowledge?"

When the stranger come, asking their names, Kogeki just give the newcomer with a grumpy scarf face and a bit annoyed voice. "No. I am a disguised Tyranitar who just enjoy dress like a ninja. Yeah, my name is Kogeki. And I supose you are Luka correct? Champion of Sinnoh. Heard about you in the TV. You are a bit late my friend. The battle already over against those Abomasnow. Maybe next time." Kogeki simple said grumpy with crossed arms.

Uxie flies over to Kogeki and ends up directly face to face with the ninja. Their eyes are closed, but it isn't hard to tell that what Kogeki has said offended Uxie.

There are limits to my Knowledge, as unbelievable as that is for most mortals. And it is clear to me that something is purposely blocking me from reviewing certain events in the past and present, further limiting it. I am far from senile, Nami Ninja.

I owe you no more answers for the time being. You may wonder about the divinity of your village's leaders on your own.

Uxie flies away from Kogeki, heading back over to Lucas. Mesprit sighs, a little disappointed in Kogeki's reaction.

Well now you've gone and done it. You've made Uxie mad at you. Impressive, but I think you need to work on your Empathy a little more. I'd give Uxie a little time to cool off before trying to speak to them in any fashion if I were you. My apologies that Uxie didn't give you the answers you desired. I understand that what you're going through is hard. It doesn't mean you should take it out on someone who's trying their best to be helpful, though!

"Hmpf. Empathy will not bring back all that I lost. I was just expecting Legendary Pokemon suppose to be incredible almost godlike beings. Now I know why all my prayers never was answered. Aotios, Mutios or any other Legendary I pray never answered any of them. Despite I was so much devoted back there. And look what devotion brought me." Then Kogeki take away the clothes where his arm was hide. "A arm. My face. And the most important thing in my life...Than sorry if I felt so much disapointed when I finally meet beings old as Arceus itself, hoping in finally get the answears I was crawling so much in my miserable life and you guys get offended. Sorry if I apparently dont like Legendary Pokemon in general, and think them as selfish gods who dont even care." Than Kogeki said those words and he brough both his sword and make notion to search other thing. "If someone needs me, I will search the room for any more clues. Maybe find something the guy who imprison you three might left here. A criminal always leave some sort of clue behind." With that said, Kogeki march to find any clue in this place. Anything to cool his head.

Talking about hatred against Legendary.

What is a Red Chain? Oh, right, I suppose they wouldn't know, would they, Mesprit and Azelf? Well, let's explain.

A Red Chain is...well, exactly what it sounds like at first glance: a bright, red colored series of linked loops.

What's special about it is it's made out of pretty, red gemstones! The same kinds as the ones that decorate us!

Depending on the intent of its creators, that also changes what effects it has. We'll sometimes grant certain individuals the materials necessary to forge a Red Chain so that they may call upon us for a single favor.

In this instance, though, we'd be forging it to bind a single creature and restrict its powers. It's a powerful check that Arceus granted us should Dialga or Palkia ever step out of line or lose control of their powers.

The Red Chain can bind almost any being, but its effectiveness is relative to our current power. We've been trapped for sooooooo long that it's had a rather large effect on our power, unfortunately. The only thing we can really do to recover what power we've lost from being imprisoned for a long period of time is to rest. And while Uxie and I don't usually mind napping...

Suffice to say, this isn't exactly the time for a long nap. But not all hope is lost, though. Should you weaken the target creature before using the Red Chain, it should bind them regardless, even if they are a Legendary Pokemon.

"Allow me to interject. Randolph, to answer your question about why I'm here, I came to investigate the Snowpoint Temple. I heard from Candice that there were strange things happenings in the Temple when I arrived in Snowpoint City, and that there were some trainers that might potentially need some assistance. I presume everyone came here to investigate what was going on?"

"In any case, I'm glad to see you all here, and not just because you seem to be alright. Based on what I've heard from Gene, what you've done here only further validates my recommending you guys to Professor Rowan for this expedition to Mt. Coronet that we're all about to embark on. And also assures me that you can handle yourself, Kee. And yes, you heard that right. I'll be joining you guys, both as added protection and also as a guide of sorts. I've explored Mt. Coronet from top to bottom, including the incredibly difficult to reach Spear Pillar. It took a little convincing for the League to agree with Professor Rowan that it'd be a good idea for me to go on such a long and likely dangerous trip, but hey, I think it's warranted, as does Professor Rowan. Doubly so if we're going to end up facing a Legendary. If we all work together, though, I'm confident this mission will be a success!"

Kogeki's words almost visibly hurt Mesprit, but they refrain from saying anything. Azelf just quietly shakes their head in resignation. They've done all they can for Kogeki for the time being.

Kogeki doesn't find much of anything that's noteworthy while investigating the interior of the Sinjoh Ruins more carefully. However, upon closer examination, Kogeki can tell that the symbols on the Mystri Stage are indeed faintly glowing.

However, the diamond blue symbol is definitely dimmer than the other two.
