[Meta thread] Iron's PokeRole Adventure: The Skull Ruins
Dragonstrike:
After run in with an irate pidgey in a playtest game I played in with my staff earlier this year, with the current state of your Ralts you might want to try multiple actions.
You currently can't pull it off due to insufficient dice in the pool, but since Ralts is swinging with a lonely single damage die while Striking (which can't drop to 0), swinging repeatedly with multiple actions means you should have a more chances to make that point of damage stick if you hit.

Chip damage is still chip damage.

That, and the mental image of a Ralts flailing at a target is kinda hilarious.

No kidding.  Hopefully it won't take too long to get Confusion though.  Though I guess with just this single strike right now, it's a bit less like flailing and more like a singe slap?  It's probably going to be about as effective as slapping a large mass of plant matter irl, too...I'll keep the suggestion in mind for the future.

Okay, so I'm currently operating on the assumption that nobody's headed to the pokemon center yet after the fight with Ekans, seeing as everyone in that encounter is taking time to talk amongst themselves and visit the prof first.  That should leave Nathan just enough time for at least a short conversation with Shiva while they wait that hour for their pokemon to heal.  Can we avoid any interruptions for a little bit, please?  Just for maybe 3 or 4 posts between Nathan and Shiva.  It wouldn't be a whole lot of time since the Ekans encounter took half as long as the Nurse Joy one turns wise.

The timeline is pretty fluid. Also there are some dorm-like rooms in the Pokemon Center you could use.

Not sure a side room would be the best idea.  It's not really a private conversation for the most part, and there's no need nor reason to make Shiva nervous.  Just trying to keep at least the start of the conversation fluid, is all. I also doubt either of them would want to stray far from the healing machine at that point in time.

Yeah, right. Don't do that.

What do want from her...?
EDIT: Oh. Helping out to teach Confusion, if I'm not mistaken? Hmm... I have a slight idea how this could look like. Not sure if it works, though.

Also, it seems that our charas get along with one another way better than I expected from reading their description. How neat!

Yeah, some help with teaching Confusion.  Teaching how to use psychic powers without being able to use them yourself is quite the conundrum, no?

And yeah, I figured they'd be able to get along.  Though if you haven't noticed it yet, Nathan, while caring, is still incredibly focused on his goal and a loner by nature (partially due to past events that haven't been revealed yet).  He's mostly trying to get along currently because he thinks that Shiva's skills will be useful to him.  Like right now.  He's not really a bad person, but he's mostly only doing the whole group thing right now out of necessity.  I can't promise he'll want to work together on everything later, when it's way easier for him to defend himself. Well, if his opinions don't change, that is...

Fair enough. I suspect the other group is sort of tip-toeing around railroading Larry's character. I know I am.

Personally, either way, I'll be sending Vincent back out hunting by the next few posts, so you've got plenty of time to kill.
A bit of training to get Winston Ember sooner rather than later wouldn't hurt either.

Alright, feel free to join us at the P.C. now.  That's about as much time without the rest of the group as we're going to get, unless they decide to dawdle for some reason.  (With that Togepi so badly damaged, I doubt Ventus will though.)

Be thinking about what you'd like to do next, overall
