Just as I assumed you people are finally returning to the Pokemon Center...

Well, we're trying to.  Being alone in a dark forest that's normally empty with only a wild pokemon making threatening noises and your disturbing thoughts for company is tough business.  I'm trying to give Shiva something to do though, since Ralts is going to be reeeeaaaalllly riled up right about now.  Ultimately though, what Ralts does is up to Iron since Nathan isn't there to influence his actions, and likely also based on how Shiva reacts to his actions.

Rest assured, we'll make it there eventually. Whether or not we will be all in one piece, though....

Besides that, I like the way the things are shaping up right now! While its scarying the lights out of Nathan and Ralts, the Mankey encounter is certainly interesting. Not going to even try to catch it, though. Far too disobedient for my tastes!

Looks like this is going to make a case for Roar. I do NOT want to go a round with an irate Mankey.

Thank goodness for utility moves.

EDIT:
And Roar is a low priority move using Tough, Contest and Intimidate.
So, treating Tough as Vitality, 1 die, not counting any pain penalties accrued. Ugh. Can't even Evade and Roar.

Tactically, not happening. Looks like I AM going to go a round with an irate Mankey.

Shiva is chilling at the center; well, fretting at the center, while Ralts is getting very, very worried about his trainer's wellbeing. It can be hard to keep up, but you'll get the hang of it, I just know it!

She wasn't "chilling"... Rather reading and taking care of the healed Pokemon you left there. Well, before Ralts got so upset...

Semantic, my dear. You're about to have that chance to interact with Ventus, though I imagine you'd want to talk to him in a less... frantic situation.
