@Dragonstrike:
You want the Staryu, you take the first crack at it since you've got the Pokeball load to make it count. I'll go find some other wild critter to harass.
Alright, your call on that. I was thinking Nathan wouldn't mind so much about catching the Staryu, tbh. They normally only live in the ocean, so a lone Staryu in the middle of small pond in a meadow? Yeah, he'd probably feel a little sorry for it.

Go for it. Just don't mind me if I go punch a bird.

Every little bit of practice with that cane counts, right?

@ Iron:
No berries. No points in survival and Larry's Mankey decided to borrow my starting one. Aka. Blatant cheatyfaced theft.

I'm actually serious about the Pidgey by the way. Might as well make use of the conveniently provided bird population rather than pick a fight with a frelling Carnivine or grope blindly in the Water 'Mon mystery bag.

I have a Perssium Berry, but I'm not holdng it at the moment. Perhaps Ventus will think of doing that in the morning...

No berry on dear Cottonee, since I've been handing that Oran Berry from the beginning over to Ralts during battle with Joy, and was so lucky not to find anything on Route 1. But Cottonee is "holding" a Ranc Berry flower. Gift from its Master~
Guess Shiva's going to look for a sunny clearing or spot near Greenbiar River (far away from Deyo Flowers) and will look into teaching Cottonee Growth during this Encounter. Maybe meet one or two Hoppip there as well... It has enough XP to learn it right away, actually (needs 4 points), still. After assuring that Ven' a little better after getting some hopefully good sleep.

Looks like Ventus is going to prune the local plant population a bit more, by the looks of it! Given my Apsis has both Poison Sting and Glare, the encounter so go relatively smoothly. If not, Raphael is always there to back her up!
@ Dragonstrike Well, I didn't know that I stumbled on the berry before I made the post, but I'm happier for it now! Also, Ventus might try and avoid Nathan and Vincent for awhile, given what happened yesterday. Hopefully you don't have plans involving him just yet...

Well, there's a few reasons why Nathan didn't tell Ventus where he was going, after all...
