i'll get Larry around to apologizing for bug shiva... eventually. Note that in real life I pester the snot out of girls that don't like me to an extent hehehe (varies on how I want this to go)

I forgot about that little aspect about Larry relationships with characters: no one seems to like him much. Ventus and Vincent don't think too highly of him after the Ekan Nest incident, even though he redeemed himself by handling the Mankey, and Shiva doesn't like him for messing with Cottenee and invading her personal space.

Given Ventus recent Pariah status, though, you might have an easier time making  in roads with the two other guys. Ventus and Shiva seem to have a good report going on, so interacting with them might be more difficult than not.

And Nathan just doesn't get why he's there.  At all.  He's heard the stories about the kid, but hasn't seen any proof so far that he's actually as good as they say he is.  Whenever Larry shows up, it's usually a quick in and out, doing whatever the heck he wants in the process, too.  Nathan just doesn't get it.  And a talking Zorua is very unbelievable on top of that.  He doesn't really dislike him per se, but he's got almost no trust for him as of right now.

eh Larry is a mess, so his skills are hindered thanks to what he has to live up to and he has a crush (im talking about Larrys cousin who is better than him and Rachel (he's our brock)) and Zorua was with Larry since he was 6. Larry watched that egg hatch but when we get to corsage town im hoping all of this looking down apon Larry will change to praise of the boy

Growth will actually just raise Str by 1 point in this game, making it essentially another Howl. Same is true for any effect that affects both Special and Strength - those are the same stats.

You can think of the move as "Raise your offense by 1 point."

Whereas Swords Dance will raise offense by 2 points, and is a more valuable move.



Also, when calculating Growth's accuracy, "Nature" refers to the specialty. Like Nature Lore, rather than a Pokemon's Nature.

if you need a refund on the XP for the move that's fine.

From now on when you accept a trainer's challenge, go ahead and tell me right away which Pokemon you're sending out first, gameboy style. I choose each trainer's starting Pokemon when I create the encounter so you don't have to worry about them taking advantage of you.

I'm keeping Growth of course~ Even with one additional point it shall come in rather handy. Makes indeed sense about the offenses being raised, I went so strictly by the Corebook that I didn't thought of that.
No wonder I was slightly confused why and how a Pokemon's Nature shall be added in an Accuracy Roll... Will keep that in mind. Maybe sometime later and under special circumstances this stat will matter.

Ventus' foot sinks a bit into a certain patch of earth, which he notices is extremely sparkly, almost gemlike. As a very smart man, he recognizes this as Stardust - often found in the general vicinity of meteor strikes. The name is a bit misleading, because it's really more like pebbles in shape. He carefully gathers it all and estimates that it'd be worth 1500$ on the open market - more if he found the right collector.

I will now claim back the 900$ that I lend him for the tent. Not.
